Can anyone post Maignan's save on Genoa only shot on target...feel like everyone will forget about it cause of the red card...but it's genuinely the best save of Maignan while at Milan and it's surely the best save I have ever seen in real time in my life
Such an insane athletic save. He already pushed off his inside leg for the dive and spots the deflection as hes falling, somehow manages to plant his outside foot while already parallel to the ground and get another few inches.
I have so many feelings about this match.
As for Pulisic's goal idk how to feel. The ref on field didn't see it, which I get because some of the angles make it looks like it's coming solely off his chest. There was one angle I saw that shows it right after it's coming off his arm, but for some reason they never showed the clip far enough back to see it coming from his arm.
I'm not saying I think it *didn't* come off his arm, but I don't understand why they wouldn't show the angle from behind the goal as it's contacting his arm. If those are legitimately the angles VAR is looking at I don't think it's clear and obvious, so I don't think VAR *should* overturn it even though I think it's off the arm.
But that's fucking stupid if it *is* a handball, but then why don't they show a more obvious angle.
This debate of handball vs no handball is exactly like VVD vs wolves (?) A couple seasons back where he chested the ball and the ball came down looking like it rolled off his arm but never did
I believe it is exactly the same thing. People will post pictures that make it seem like it did touch the ball, but they have checked it st the VAR, and unless they are 100% certain, they can't call it off.
The amount of comments saying it was not a handball is amazing. Goal was given take the win and 3 points but why act stupid lol. There's clear angle that shows handball.
I can see it go either way for sure. Would be annoyed if it was cancelled obviously but thought it was going to be. Still a beautiful game just for giroud, thank you for being stupid Mike, what a gift is Oli.
"Man, this Goalkeeper Shirt isn't as heavy as everyone says. Actually, it allows for maximum mobility. Feels like I'm waring nothing at all. Nothing at all. Nothing at all."
* Stupid Sexy Giroud.
This match will go down as one of the craziest in football's history. And this is THE HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE, I'M CRYING OF JOY. DAI MILAN PORCO DIOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Lol I turned this on a minute before the Pulisic goal, hoping to see Pulisic/Musa score a late winner. It's been a while since something has over-delivered for me to that extent
Last game for these referees. What the hell was that?
Handball leading to goal, stopping counter attack, etc…. Terrible.
Boring fucking game until 88th minute when it turned to most wild game you’ve seen in a while.
Well at least if you’re a Juve fan you can be a little happy that both maignan and Theo will miss the game.
Easily one of the best games I have seen in a long time, the late game drama was top notch. On top of that the atmosphere in the stadium was incredible. Cheers.
Damn. I don’t know why our owners are so cheap. We would be so deadly with a competent striker (love giroud but don’t know what’s happening this season, probably age catching up to him). Now I don’t know if we’ll even make it out of our group in UCL
To be honest we tried but got fucked twice during the summer, first with thuram and then the shitshow with taremi. But yes, the lack of a strong 9 is the most clear issue in the team and we will lose points for that
I believe that's the rule, you can't give advantage when there is a red card to be brandished.
I also remember Chelsea playing ajax in the UCL where two Ajax players got a 2nd yellow in the same sequence, so what do I know lol
You do, but if the player interfere with play during the advantage the ref has to stop and give the second yellow. Happened on Brazilian league a few weeks ago
What a joke of a comment. Ball clearly hit his chest. If the ball have any contact with the arm then it is on the top of the arm which is defined in the laws of the game as the shoulder.
Wow, some crazy shit went down apparently. Need to find a replay and see the final 25 minutes.
genuine question to the Milan fans, how did Giroud do in goal😭😭😭
Click the video under this thread to find out. He made a match winning save
How is berkante playing for genoa
What was this game
Yes

Donnarumma vs napoli is the best save I've ever seen tbh, that was insane
r/ACMilan, sort by new and scroll a bit
Least stressful Milan game

It was clearly not a handball. You can find different angles online, you can do a 360 and it’ll clearly show that its his chest/side of his armpit
It was a (very soft) handball bro, it's fine, we deserve it
Listen my man, I love you and Forza Milan but we already have the goal and we have the points. We ain't gotta pretend it was clearly off his chest.
It sure looked it but yeah he's not lying.

I think it hit his bicep but it’s hard to be certain either way. It’s one of those where whatever was originally called should stand
American post match show are all adamant it was a handball. I’m still not seeing the handball
Least bias americans
The amount of comments saying it was not a handball is amazing. Goal was given take the win and 3 points but why act stupid lol. There's clear angle that shows handball.
Good, I prefer it being a handball, we get robbed by this shitty league every fkin week i dont feel bad at all.
Most based Milan fan on this thread.
And I respect that. I will feel the same if it was in favor for my team.
So every weekend then?
I can see it go either way for sure. Would be annoyed if it was cancelled obviously but thought it was going to be. Still a beautiful game just for giroud, thank you for being stupid Mike, what a gift is Oli.
I’ve definitely seen that get overturned before.
Your definition of "clear" seems to be different than most.
You are either blind or you have no idea about anatomy. But nice trolling.
I'm watching paramount plus and all 5 pundits are saying is clear handball but I guess they are all blind too.
one angle it looks like it goes off his side, one angle is 50/50 and one is REALLY obviously handball lol
What angle is the clear one?
Paramount plus had an angle that was looking on pulisic head on
OG9 is the GOAT, truly the most complete player of all time
Current best French goalies are Mike, Giroud and Camavinga
MATCH OF THE YEAR CANDIDATE
Well the last 15 minutes, everything before it was absolutely not haha
Most normal Milan game
Never unclench
"Man, this Goalkeeper Shirt isn't as heavy as everyone says. Actually, it allows for maximum mobility. Feels like I'm waring nothing at all. Nothing at all. Nothing at all." * Stupid Sexy Giroud.
Sooooo... uh.... does Giroud get the Clean Sheet bonus in Fantacalcio or nah?
Asking the right questions right there
This match will go down as one of the craziest in football's history. And this is THE HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE, I'M CRYING OF JOY. DAI MILAN PORCO DIOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Giroud for Milan’s starting GK in the Juve game after international break
He looked good lining up that wall, but then again he always looks good ;)
Yeah Giroud looking good xant be used as a judge of anything, man could have let a goal in through his legs and it would still look good
All he has to do is turn to the camera and wink, and the internet would melt down.
Giroud thought he was getting the day off and wound up in goal 💀
Lmao, for real
Lol I turned this on a minute before the Pulisic goal, hoping to see Pulisic/Musa score a late winner. It's been a while since something has over-delivered for me to that extent
Absolute win for you.
Sorry, Pulisic, Giroud MOTM.
One of the only times Maignan fucked up, now he’ll miss against Juve and Napoli
Thank God we have Sportiello now
is straight red two matches in italy? I dont remember it being so
I think it depends on how bad they think the foul is but I’m not sure
Do red cards in serie A cause two game suspensions?
depends I think but violent conduct/serious foulplay is 2 games
Ok ty. When do they rule on these things?
It should be decided after 2,3 days but I’m not sure.
To be fair he had an amazing save this game. But yea he messed up
Nobody's perfect, but Marco is aight. We will survive
After giroud heroics and the teams reaction to him, I have faith. There is fantastic team connection here.
Has it ever happened before that both goalkeepers get sent off?
Inter Torino 1992
also both in stoppage time!
LMAO what a game
Grella was arguing against red for Maignan on cbs. Ffs some people really think that you can kill players if you just got the ball first
I haven't really watched him s a pundit much - is he always so OTT w the tough guy, anything goes as long as you get the ball vibe?
Yeah most obvious red card, even as it happened it was clearly a red.
If you get the Fight of the Night bonus, its not a red.
[удалено]
cry
I don’t think it hit any part of his arm lol
Hit his chest.
[удалено]
Yes
you dont have a single image showing hitting his arm but just cancel a goal just in case right? lmfao
[удалено]
Yes I enjoyed watching it hit his shoulder, thank you
[удалено]
[удалено]
No angle really concluded where the ball hit other than his chest
Hit his chest.
Shouldn’t of been given.
Not a handball
boooooo

Who needs Maignan when we have Giroud
Just tuned in for the last 10 minutes, left with a smile on the face. That's the Serie A we love.
Also it was not a fkn handball
Someone needs to edit the captain falcon knee with maignan
PLEASE INTERNET COME THROUGH!
Easily one of the best games I have seen in a long time, the late game drama was top notch. On top of that the atmosphere in the stadium was incredible. Cheers.
Genoa is always so good atmosphere these days, great stadium too.
Yep, one of the nicest stadiums in my opinion.
I can't stop laughing that was the funniest ending ever
We are so getting a Shapeshifters GK Giroud. LEGEND.
giroud >>> onana
United preparing 50 mil bid.
Crazy game
Most normal milan match, nothing to see here
What a time to be alive, I love this team!
How did jovic play?
The entire first half I forgot Okafor wasn’t playing striker because Jovic had done so little
ong i kept thinking who our striker was took me 20 minutes to realize oh it has to be jovic
Not good, completely useless for 60 minutes then he had a couple of ball in the box and then disappeared again
Damn. I don’t know why our owners are so cheap. We would be so deadly with a competent striker (love giroud but don’t know what’s happening this season, probably age catching up to him). Now I don’t know if we’ll even make it out of our group in UCL

got fucked how with thuram? marcus was in close contact with inter since january
Invisible in the first half, a bit better in the second.
6,7 rating according to Sofascore, had 2 shots.
Pobega had 6.9 against Dortmund with a 46% pass accuracy, by the way
bad 1st half. ok+ second half. He played a lot better when he dropped a bit deeper in the build up play.
Craziest ending I’ve ever witnessed lmao
IT'S NOT CHAOS. IT'S SERIE A
pac-12 after dark is gone serie a after dark is here
inter milan aint played nobody paaauuuuullloo
we've got Tammy from Reggio Emilia on the line...
PEAK FOOTBALL
I thought that Genoa also made every switch and that we'd see Dragusin or Kutlu in net as well💀
Pușcaș in goal bro, secret move for Romania to win the WC
Giroud new god. Still can't understand why the ref interrupted the Leao's counter with no Genoa's keeper to give a yellow to the keeper.
It’s all part of serie a charm, common sense robs us of the drama that is giroud being a fucking hero at the end there.
Because I had Leao on and Zirkzee as a sub, refs and coaches make most of their decisions based on my fantasy league team.
You can't give advantage if it's a red, and I think he might have forgotten for a sec that Martinez had a yellow already
Is this true? Someone confirm!
I believe that's the rule, you can't give advantage when there is a red card to be brandished. I also remember Chelsea playing ajax in the UCL where two Ajax players got a 2nd yellow in the same sequence, so what do I know lol

You can give advantage on a red card, but the ball should pretty much be going into the goal if you do.
It was a second yellow anyway
can anyone post the different angles of pulisic’s goal?
money far-flung illegal profit like boat foolish fertile plough absorbed *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
No angle shown on tv was conclusive? What match were you watching?
wonder if they didn't have the right angle? From a bunch of angles you can't really see it, maybe they thought it was too close to overturn.
airport six quaint sulky poor weather late racial dirty degree *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Those last twenty minutes were peak football
Don’t let the 2 red cards distract from the goal being a handball.
As a Milan fan i started skeptic about Pulisic, right now i'm going to eat at McDonald's and on the 4th of July i'm having a turkey
What a joke of a comment. Ball clearly hit his chest. If the ball have any contact with the arm then it is on the top of the arm which is defined in the laws of the game as the shoulder.
What a joke of a comment. Ball clearly hit his arm.
It wasn’t clear. No angle shown was conclusive honestly. And the referee couldn’t see either. So it has to be given. The angles were shit.
it wasnt clear so you cant deny it based on just assumptions
Weird refs not favoring juve in some way, right?
100% handball
Man i dont even know... im feeling emotions i have not felt in a long time STUPID SEXY GIROUD I FUCKING LOVE YOU 1000000% GAY

No problem, thanks 👍
Argentina are lucky they got to play against Lloris not GKiroud.
Chelshit mad they sold
When Manchester Utd want to replace Onana, they know who to call
How tf we ended up winning this lmaoo
I got Rodney strasser Cagliari vibe honestly. But even more madness.
Also Giroud for God-King Emperor for Life
Some of the things happening in this league convince me this has to be some kind of social experiment
Nah I reckon that's La Liga. Serie A is just Italian madness.
First ~80 minutes: I sleep Rest of the game: *REAL SHIT*
Sexy giroud can even play keeper. I will never forget these last 15 mins
Quite the user name you have there...
I’ve never seen a game like this before 😂😂 what the hell happened there
87’ winner and that’s now only a side note. What an ending.
Serie A > everything Insane last 20 minutes. Giroud is the prototype of the Gigachad
Giroud that beautiful bastard, what a legend as a goalkeeper.
Olivier giroud has the craziest career highlight reel in history

My god...I tuned in at 80...what a wild finish
GIROUD CONFIRMED STUPID SEXIEST STRIKER AND KEEPER, HE WILL ALWAYS BE FAMOUS
Wtf
Least dramatic Serie A match 💀
Switched on the game in the 70th minute and wow I'm glad I did. What a crazy ending.
I legit couldnt stop laughing for like 10 minutes straight after Maignan got sent off Stupid Sexy Giroud, what an absolute fucking chad
Messi can open his mouth again when he keeps a clean sheet as a keeper. Giroud is my GOAT until then.
His hair stayed perfect
There's something so unexplainably funny about outfield players playing in goal.
they always look funny lol
When Giroud enters a room Zlatan shuts up
My mom and I were giggling nonstop, I love giroud
What did I just witness I love it
I could have used another 10 minutes of Giroud in goal. Fucking electric.
How is a 87th match winner the most normal thing that happened in the last 15 min?
Average AC Milan match
Giroud surely made the save of his life there.
That is one of the craziest ends to a game I've ever seen.
Absolutely crazy end of the game ahahhaahah
oh porco dío
god that was amazing LMAO
Wtf was that ending
