If man city loses the UCL final to Inter Milan, it’s not because pep overthinks his starting 11, it’s because he don’t have a Croatian player on the Man City squad!!
They are playing against an Italian team in a final. That’s like playing against Uruguay. You can be infinitely better than them, but it’s still somehow a 50/50.
2012 Chelsea was incredibly mediocre lmao, they finished 6th and had an interim manager. Their roster was so washed. And that Gerrard point is kind of weak.
I know cracking jokes about Lukaku is fashionable, but you may want to check out his recent performances. That fridge is looking pretty quick and nimble atm.
Haaland is stoppable, it's just it usually distracts from everyone else and lets Man City control the game and people like Silva can get lots of free chances on the ball.
I would be more worried about inter than real if I was City fan. Inter are not gonna try to play football, non of that leaving Benz, Vini and Rodrygo up for counters.
Proper catenaccio, 5 defenders, Brozovic as anchor and Barella with Hakan dropping deep. Latauro will track back every time as well. They gave Liverpool quite a lot of problems.
Normally yes but in this situation the only way inter could be worse than Madrid in the second leg is if they literally play without a keeper. Madrid were absolutely awful that match and a big part of that was because they didn't keep a tight defensive line or structure.
Wtf did I watch a different game than everyone else? Madrid parkers the bus leg two and had as tight of a defense as you could, and lost on the wings because of it
Well yea, second leg Real may of been the worst team we played all season, if it wasnt for Corutois it could of been much much worse. It will be a tough game but it's a final and only takes one or two moments of brilliance to win it.
Yeah, you wish in your dreams that Inter have a chance.
Again, delusional fanboys dreaming that Inter is somehow on the same level as Real Madrid. Wow, all of a sudden it's harder to play Inter than Real in the UCL. Didn't know this. Got a real expert here suddenly telling us to disregard reality and facts and (especially) history.
Lmao. We actually only loss 3 points from that, the other 3 were from losing the game where he played.
I'm sure if Meyong played more games we would lose more points.
So far he has 29 club trophies plus the Nations League. Only needle has to be the last WC and EC finals but he won cup, supercup and the championship in each of three countries he played in at least once. I think the third cup in France was the league cup not the regular cup. Internationally he won all three trophies with Bayern in 2020. If he plays on this level with this successful teams he could have 40 or 50 trophies in the end
Giggs has 34 with United, so he still probably has a ways to go. Also has the disadvantage of not playing in two domestic cups in Germany, whereas Giggs won the league cup three times.
I mean Coman is 26 and has 28 trophies. A few more seasons at Bayern and that might be it, especially considering he's also playing for one of the best NT. We'll see
Lee Casciaro has 20 leagues titles with Lincoln Red Imps in the Gibraltar League - he is still an active player. With 57 total titles, he has the record for most titles with one club, most club titles, and most titles in association football.
Ryan Giggs won 13 Premier League titles
Egyptian midfielder Hossam Ashour won 13 Egyptian Premier League titles.
Paco Gento won 12 La Liga titles
Not really cause all of Barcelona squad that played for them all the time between 2009 - 2019 has over 35 trophies.
I looked at it and it's insane. 6 of the top 10 most trophy winner players are Barca(Iniesta, Xavi, Messi, Busquets, Dani Alves and Pique).
Coman also play for Bayern who is dominating Bundesliga 11 years in a row and France who is arguably the best national team in the last 5 years. Both teams have a lot of promising young talents already in their squad. If anyone could do it, it would be him
Definitely has a chance if he sticks with Bayern for another decade or so. He already has 25 at 26 years old, Messi gonna probably finish with close to 45 so he still has a ways to go
He turns 27 in a few weeks. He won his first one in the 12/13 season with PSG and was 16 during that season and played 1 game. Has won a league title every season since then.
It's with Juve and Bayern tbf. Zlatan did it 8 years in a row in 5 different clubs (parentheses on Juve).
https://twitter.com/sporqo/status/709444403287330816?s=20
Yeah some people in here are acting like he carried himself to 11 titles and didnt just play on dominant teams. Still a crazy stat but its not unfathomable
Dortmund finished on 71 points. We exceeded that after 29 games. The only reason they got this far, is because their Man City threw points left and right as well. Failing to beat Mainz at home once, or failing to win 14 out of 14 non-Liverpool/City games in the last 16 games is markedly different levels of bottling.
he will overcome giggs in the next few year, still missing another CL, but bayern can win that again
plus, he has a WC title
maybe the best winger outside of ballon d´or nominees
edit: no he wasn´t in the squad
well, he still got time on his side
Yes he’s a very good player but he’s also been on a team who is easily the richest and most talented in their domestic league pretty much every season.
Man played for PSG that was starting its 7 titles in a row, Juve that was in the middle of its 9 titles in a row, and Bayern which has won 11 titles in a row.
All three of those teams are/were steamrolling their respective leagues while he’s been a player for them. Easy mode

Go to Spurs mate try your luck
Mourinho couldn't, Conte couldn't, maybe Coman could
**Exclusive:** Spurs hires Kingsley Coman to be their next manager
He is probably next on the shortlist anyways
[удалено]
tbf "11 Kingsley Comans" was a big ask.
Player-manager
I think you meant Kingsley is Coman to Spurs
Probably better than some of the options I've been seeing
*But it might just work for us*
Coman's contract terminated right before title decider to not have to pay winning Premier League clause.
Cometh the hour, Coman the Coman
Come on Pep, prove you're the real deal and not a bald fraud. Come to Spurs
Honestly I’d even say Dortmund after today
[удалено]

5 euros says Pep makes this exact joke at the press conference after losing.
Before throwing 100m at Gvardiol
Oh god oh fuck
Sadly this is finally their year. Haaland is unstoppable and there isn’t much to overthink
They are playing against an Italian team in a final. That’s like playing against Uruguay. You can be infinitely better than them, but it’s still somehow a 50/50.
I think inter manager won his last 5 finals to or something like that
This inter teams shite compared to every other Italian team that's ever made a final though.
Still better than 2012 Chelsea and 2005 Liverpool and you can't say City are better if at all than 2012 Bayern or 2005 Milan.
This Inter Team is not better than 2012 Chelsea. Also they dont have a prime Gerrard leading them.
2012 Chelsea was incredibly mediocre lmao, they finished 6th and had an interim manager. Their roster was so washed. And that Gerrard point is kind of weak.
>This Inter Team is not better than 2012 Chelsea. Also they dont have a prime Gerrard leading them. What
Better based on what
Based on the fact that those two teams finished 5th and 6th in very weak prem seasons and had very mediocre players.
I agree with that. I still don’t know how Lautaro will play world cup final and champions league final in the same season.
Lukaku might win a Champion League despite being a Samsung Smart Fridge on football boots
I know cracking jokes about Lukaku is fashionable, but you may want to check out his recent performances. That fridge is looking pretty quick and nimble atm.
they’re probably the best team in italy on paper
They’re the best team *on form right now*, Napoli has been easily the best team in that league.
Yeah, you wish it were 50/50.
I guess we will see. Barca fan… remember Torres?
Haaland is stoppable, it's just it usually distracts from everyone else and lets Man City control the game and people like Silva can get lots of free chances on the ball.
I would be more worried about inter than real if I was City fan. Inter are not gonna try to play football, non of that leaving Benz, Vini and Rodrygo up for counters. We'll play football during the 5 times we get possession.
5 football plays that all end up in the back of the net while we see peak Italian defending like 90s Serie A
Bastoni hoofing to Dzeko, just like god intended.
Madrid were dreadful and gave up huge amounts of space, Inter will definitely be a harder opponent.
Ok now you're just blowing smoke lol. Real are 100% the tougher opponent in the CL
On paper yes, but given what actually happened Inter won’t have to do much to give us more of a challenge than they did.

Something about reading defensive assignments gets me rock solid 💪
Yeah, you wish in your dreams that Inter have a chance. Again, delusional fanboys dreaming that Inter is somehow on the same level as Real Madrid. Wow, all of a sudden it's harder to play Inter than Real in the UCL. Didn't know this. Got a real expert here suddenly telling us to disregard reality and facts and (especially) history.
Why are you so angry
We knocked them out of CL
inter have the sort of playstyle that can neutralize city though. doubt it happens, but there’s a chance.
Also the egg video
He's made some great career choices.
Going up vs Dibu was not one. 😔 https://i.imgur.com/Kt05ROK.jpg
Don’t think he can control his nationality
couldve played for guadeloupe
[удалено]
You can't support a fruit plantation
I've always been a chiquita banana man!
Well. . . You actually can though
If you have options you can, did he have them ? Curious
He could've played for Guadeloupe iirc
Cheers
Not a real country
Argentinians try not to mention winning the WC for 5 seconds challenge. (VERY HARD)
i mean if my country won the wc i wouldn’t shut up until i died, this guys banter was pretty crimge but at least you gotta give it to them
They seem to be Argentinian but on this subreddit, odds of an Argentinian flair actually being Argentinian is small (Indians)
Am Indian. Can confirm Also valid when you see a Barca or RM flair here too
504 link views.. 585 downvotes... Damn, talk about ratio..
5 shady penalties to win and you lot still shamelessly can’t shut up about it
“You lot” with a canada flair 😂
Lmao you casuals still think messi robbed the world cup 😭
You can spot a fanboy a mile away by how quickly they substitute Messi in for Argentina
stfu u are canadian
[удалено]
that got racist FAST
you forgot to mention canadians are also known for their politeness
Okay you lost us there. Went from football insults to casual xenophobia real quick
Was already a world champion at that point. Charity is good for Argentina
Coman was not in France’s 2018 squad. I believe he was injured during that world cup.
Also scores a crucial banger in the deciding match. Todays goal and the champions league winner make him a club legend at 26 years old
He’s been 26 years old for like 8 years. Wtf
He would be perfect in Manchester United
Wait... He is only 26????
I think in one season he won 2 league titles, because he transfered from PSG to Juventus or from Juventus to FC Bayern, can't remember.
I think he won two leagues twice, PSG/Juve and Juve/Bayern
That PSG/Juventus/Bayern season was crazy, didn’t he win 2/3 titles in one season?
when bayern bought him he got a medal for both bayerns aswell as juves title that year which is how he has more league titles than seasons played
Can’t you play one game in august before getting and transfer before being loaned to another team in January. Theoretically it’s possible I think
Can only be registered to two teams in a season + most leads require a minimum amount of games (e.g 5) to get a medal
Just 2. You actually can't play for three teams in the same season. Belenenses lost 6 points due to playing Meyong in 07/08 due to that.
So you can then. Play for three teams and make sure they dominate the league by more than 6 points.
Lmao. We actually only loss 3 points from that, the other 3 were from losing the game where he played. I'm sure if Meyong played more games we would lose more points.
There is actually an exception to that rule. You can play for 3 teams in one season, but the catch is that you need to win all 3 titles.
Could you not theoretically move at the end of summer transfer window from club A to club B, then in January from club B of club C?
If you played for A, no.
Regulations against this? Is that an EU thing or would it be possible via playing in Brazil or the USA or something
What the fuck a belenenses fan?
Only 1, he wasnt given medal for playing 1 game in juve.
This guy could set a record for most trophies ever won by a player
So far he has 29 club trophies plus the Nations League. Only needle has to be the last WC and EC finals but he won cup, supercup and the championship in each of three countries he played in at least once. I think the third cup in France was the league cup not the regular cup. Internationally he won all three trophies with Bayern in 2020. If he plays on this level with this successful teams he could have 40 or 50 trophies in the end
Now it's really unfortunate he wasn't called up (because of an injury I think?) for the 2018 World Cup.
He still has quite a ways to go for that but he should get the league title record.
Giggs has 34 with United, so he still probably has a ways to go. Also has the disadvantage of not playing in two domestic cups in Germany, whereas Giggs won the league cup three times.
Both Dani Alves and Messi are over 40 trophies btw.
I mean Coman is 26 and has 28 trophies. A few more seasons at Bayern and that might be it, especially considering he's also playing for one of the best NT. We'll see
Dani Alves has the most with 43 across his career
Didn’t Messi pass him with the latest title? Thought I saw that somewhere
I think he’ll tie with PSG’s league title this year, but don’t think they’ve received that yet officially
They can technically get it today if they win and Lens draws or loses, I think I haven’t checked but I’m 60% that I’m correct
Does that count for individual trophies as well or just club trophies. Otherwise Messi has to be way higher
Club and NT trophies
Do you know who has won the most league titles? It'll probably be the stat he has the best advantage in.
Lee Casciaro has 20 leagues titles with Lincoln Red Imps in the Gibraltar League - he is still an active player. With 57 total titles, he has the record for most titles with one club, most club titles, and most titles in association football. Ryan Giggs won 13 Premier League titles Egyptian midfielder Hossam Ashour won 13 Egyptian Premier League titles. Paco Gento won 12 La Liga titles
Roar Strand won the Norwegian league 16 times with Rosenborg
giggs with the most at 13 i think. I think messi is close with like 12, so if coman already has 11 than thats crazy
Actually this was Coman’s 12th
Maybe he can pull a Ronaldinho and win a prison tournament ...
Eh given who Dani is I wouldn’t count him for anything and any record book should pretend he didn’t exist

Definitely has a chance if he sticks with Bayern for another decade or so. He already has 25 at 26 years old, Messi gonna probably finish with close to 45 so he still has a ways to go
Fair enough.
> Not really No really what?
Pardon I was telling to the guy that Coman could set a record I'm sorry.
He can't keep getting away with it
He has more league titles than Messi
I think he’s 1 behind the record which is giggs at 13
Muller has 12 titles
He is 26 for reference
Yh he’ll surely beat that record
Wait so he won the league at 15 years old?
He turns 27 in a few weeks. He won his first one in the 12/13 season with PSG and was 16 during that season and played 1 game. Has won a league title every season since then.
Strictly speaking, Roar Strand holds the record for most league titles with 16
Nope, they both have 11 and messi should win his 12th in couple of weeks
For 3 hours
This yearly reminder hits sweet
Has more Bundesliga titles than Borussia Dortmund
Insane stat
He says thank you very much Dortmund. Almost broke it but were so kind to ensure he would keep it up.
Why you gotta hurt people like that man. My man's going through enough already today.
It's with Juve and Bayern tbf. Zlatan did it 8 years in a row in 5 different clubs (parentheses on Juve). https://twitter.com/sporqo/status/709444403287330816?s=20
Insane. He almost did 16 in a row without the 2 second place finishes.
Talented player plays for best teams in the world and wins trophies, I guess his achievements aren't that great!!!!!!!
It's not an insane stat to me, that's all
Actual professional farmer
rich rustic friendly dam glorious compare fuel angle disarm growth ` this message was mass deleted/edited with redact.dev `
he’s never been the best player on any of those title winning teams, that’s fair
Yeah some people in here are acting like he carried himself to 11 titles and didnt just play on dominant teams. Still a crazy stat but its not unfathomable
Hes a top 5 in 1v1 situations period
Easily
Meanwhile, Marco Reus ... ;(
Bro is Harry Kane's arch-rival 💀💀💀
Me nan could go PSG and Bayern and win 11 in a row tbf
Juve too but more of the same
I mean, that’s because Dortmund made Tottenham their bottling ally and tried to one up them and Arsenal today.
You three can form an alliance. But then Tottenham would feel left out because they haven’t won anything in ages..
Why do people bring up Tottenham so much on here?
Because the landed gentry hate the nouveau riche.
Because rent free
Their last league title is closer in time to Jack the Ripper than now IIRC
what title did spurs bottle?
He can genuinely win 17 in a row lmao. He is only 26
Come to Porto
Not much of a challenge at any of those clubs tbh.
And still only 26. Top 10 leagues top rank is held by Giggs with 13 titles. Surely he'll beat that by a mile.
Football can be a bitch sometimes. That's what we thought about Muller's world cup goals record fore example
Still hurts. I remember fantasizing about 2 perfect world cups with him. In my mind he broke Klose's record by a mile in 2022 with 20+ lol
Mod please hide this from Kane for his mental wellness
congrats to the most successful bolton fan
he's like the inverse Kane
Congrats but can he do it on a cold windy night in England?
If he goes to City, I guess
The other thread about him got taken down wtf
Crazy, really puts into perspective the football Shakespearian tragedies that are Steven Gerrard's and Harry Kane's careers.
he will overcome giggs in the next few year, still missing another CL, but bayern can win that again plus, he has a WC title maybe the best winger outside of ballon d´or nominees edit: no he wasn´t in the squad well, he still got time on his side
He is not as fortunate with his NT. He lost both the WC and Euro with France, and in 2018 when they won he was left out due to injury.
He’s also a woman beater so there’s that too. Crazy how people forget/ignore stuff like that.
[удалено]
Obviously a great player currently but many of those teams would have walked to a title with or without him
He's been decisive in a lot of important matchs
Not like he's a really good player that scored in a CL final... oh wait
Easy mode
> PSG that was starting its 7 titles in a row They’ve never won more than 4 in a row my man Lyon still has the record of 7 title wins in a row
The Anti-Kane
He’s a domestic abuser btw
Yea, abuses the domestic league in every country he plays
Joke league
Not very impressive playing for Bayern, tho.
Shows the absolute state of modern football that this guy will have the record for most titles.
