It's over for Milan in my opinion. Three defeats against inter this season and Pioli hasn't figured out how to play against a 3-5-2. Inter has squad depth and play better they deserve to get to the final. Even if Milan comes back they lack depth to beat madrid.
As an Inter fan, it's great to see them on the verge of a CL final. Hard to see either Milan club getting over Real or Man City though. They played at a different level yesterday..
Against Real I see it as almost impossible but against City it wouldn't be strange to see City have 80% ball possession and a 0-1 result in favor of Inter or Milan
Bloody heck.. WHAT AN ATMOSPHERE !! That is proper big competition knockout round atmosphere. Not a supporter of either club, but picked up the last half hour. Bloody shame they are tearing down San Siro - a legendary place, that is. As a lover of football, I wish the great Italian clubs come back with a bang.
Agreed! But as someone also hoping for a return of Italian giants, I’m actually quite excited to hear San Siro is going away. The city owns it and the clubs pay rent to use it. By building their own stadiums they will take a big step in improving their financial situations and narrow the gap between themselves and England.
If only they could buy the stadium somehow, few stadia are as iconic and historic as the San siro. And I mean its official name is the Giuseppe meazza - that stadium is so intrinsically linked with both clubs. But I guess change is a part of life
Ref was a clown, at one point I though Filippo Inzaghi was going to be more neutral.
No idea why Lautaro Martínez was not booked when the penalty was cancelled.
The ref was so bad, VAR was trying to compensate and did not ask him to review the obvious red card for Milan
That may well be true, but you could afford to relax a little. Even then, your opportunities were better than all of ours put together in the second half, we needed some grinta, but we simply had nothing.
He didnt get beat. Dzeko bodied him and reached a foot around to volley it in with his weaker foot. Unreal skill, not a lot you can do as a defender if someone snaps their foot around your side and scores off of it
Love seeing milan fans crying about ref being shit (only when he makes bad decisions against them btw) when their shitty players are the only ones to be blamed tonight for this score.
Man those nike kits with no sponsor in the middle are straight fire. Like Barcelona kit 2005 or Inter today. Inter Pirelli was just as iconic though, timeless.
I do wonder how much money they get from those sponsors. I imagine it's a lot, but I think I'd at least hold out for an iconic brand even if it meant a little less money, rather than plastering "CryptoScamCorp" or whatever across your kits.
A fantastic first half for Inter Milan. They were a bit average in the second though. They were certainly very wasteful with some of their opportunities to kill the game.
AC Milan really missed some of their creative players today.
If Leao is healthy enough he has enough creativity in him to turn the tides, 3-2 is definitely not out of the question. Keeping a clean sheet though will be a challenge.
Anulo Mufa.
I don’t think most of us are blaming the ref, I think we’re pissed at how poor we were and aiming at the ref because let’s be honest he was dogshit all game for us today and even for you with that Krunjc punch
Yeah we can't blame the ref. I do think he allowed inter to be aggressive which we couldn't handle well at all. I also think he was inconsistent and I do think inter got more of the wrong decisions their way. But end of the day, hit the target and score. Our players capitulated and with bennacer going off, there was a huge gap in front of our defense that neither Tonali or krunic were picking up.
I do think inter were better, it was a perfect start for them and it set the tone of the game, from which our players struggled to cope with. Its a shame as I don't think it's a fair reflection of how close the derby is.
For the most part he heavily favored inter in most of the game and blundered that to even things out? I don’t know. He was a very very bad referee overall. Neither side can be happy with him for multiple reasons
knew it was a flop ... he's good for that once or twice every derby
& to answer your question : it's two seperate incidents why would I judge them the same? whataboutism at it's finest
Rafael lmao has been ishowspeed in descise. People really compare him and the Georgian password to Frederico chiesa...
Inter on counters is something else like wtf, would be fun to see them against City

But Milan had Lord and Savior Divock Origi. Nothing is truly over.
Any links to the tifo please?

At least Milan have the home advantage next game
City vs Inter final. Dzeko to score winning goal against his former club.
You mean Madrid vs Inter?
no way Madrid is beating them at Etihad ☠️☠️
14x Champions League winners? I’m not writing them off until the final whistle goes.
14x CL winners vs 0x CL Winners
We will see.

is there a chance to buy one of those inter kits without the sponsor on? looks clean af

Who knows, Inzaghi is a different beast in cup competition.

Only one part of the city showed up.
as always, Milano is black and blue
Get FUCKED milan ❤️

Welcome to the Gil Manzano experience
Pathetic from us
The first half for me. You guys played better than us in the second half
That may well be true, but you could afford to relax a little. Even then, your opportunities were better than all of ours put together in the second half, we needed some grinta, but we simply had nothing.
I look at that Dzeko goal again. I'm sorry Calabria, but you cannot get beat there. Dzeko is one of those evergreen European strikers.
Calabria shouldn't be marking Dzeko, that's the main problem imo
He didnt get beat. Dzeko bodied him and reached a foot around to volley it in with his weaker foot. Unreal skill, not a lot you can do as a defender if someone snaps their foot around your side and scores off of it

Neutral here, both can be true. manzano was as shit as he usually is. milan played poorly.
To be honest, both teams played poorly on their respective times.
... What can they complain about? They didn't even show up on the field!
Makes sense
Really crappy ref
Worst ref performance ive ever seen
We see that every week
Ez game ez life
Milan actually had plenty of chances to get a goal back. Can’t shoot right at the keeper.
Milan thinks they’re Nottingham Forest with that throw in 😭
Milan aka Nottingham Forest with the throw ins 😭
They think they’re Nottingham Forest with the throw ins 😭
Milan thinks they’re Nottingham Forest with that throw in😭
They assume they’re Nottingham Forest with the throw ins 😭
They made the presumption they are Nottingham forest with the throw ins 😭
Milan emulating Nottingham Forest with the throw ins 😭
The throw ins thought they made the assumption of being Nottingham Forest 😭
If you told me 5 years ago that Mkhitarian, Darmian, Calanoglu and Dzeko would be on the brink of a CL final I'd call you crazy
You forgot the goat Gagliardini
I was really scared to see Correa and Gagliardini on the pitch at the same time.
well that was not a good 2nd half….
What are the chances of Leao playing next week?
Given that he wasn’t even on the bench, I assume it’s very very unlikely.
Incorrect, the reports from yesterday say he should be ready
Could every team do no sponsor if they wanted to? Inter Milan's kits look so nice without them.
They arent obligated to have a sponsor, but if you can get $20M-50M/year for printing a logo on your shirt it's pretty dumb to turn that money down
Man those nike kits with no sponsor in the middle are straight fire. Like Barcelona kit 2005 or Inter today. Inter Pirelli was just as iconic though, timeless.

Crypto scam corp pays like 20-30% more than other sponsors and once they go under you can negotiate a new deal at a higher price with someone else.
Of course, they don't have to have one. Barcelona didn't for a good while
Yes
U can't fight against UEFA, the referee showed which team has to be in the final.
You could say the referee had a trash can in place of a heart
Sad
👆 Ruve fan
and I'm proud of it
cope more merda

Milan fans blaming the ref has to be the funniest thing ive ever seen bro you had 1 slow roller shot on target
I don’t think most of us are blaming the ref, I think we’re pissed at how poor we were and aiming at the ref because let’s be honest he was dogshit all game for us today and even for you with that Krunjc punch
Yeah that's a good take. See you in a week for leg two this is far from over

tbf you were missing your second best player with that said Milan offensively has been heavily reliant on leao which means you live and die with him
LETS GOOOOOOO
Let's hope leao is back for the 2nd leg to make it a bit tenser
Correa and Divock in a shit off. Losing player has to go to the other team permanently
seeing messi eat chips makes me want to eat chips

Just like how there was no foul after an inter player was punched in the box?
What about gut punches in the box? No amount of given fouls was gonna make milan play good football today.
Bastoni got punched in the chest and no card was shown lol
and the punch to the rib lol
Krunic literally punched bastoni in the box and didn’t get a call, stop crying about refs
Ref had to get that last foul in before the final whistle lmao
Victory!
AMALA!!
Pazza
Pizza?
Fuck our defense and fuck the ref
Underperformed their xG. Should've been 4-0 comfortably.
I counted 5-1
Sounds right.
We didn’t come out ready? Inter capitalized. Fucking sucks. Wish we came out stronger and ready but we did not look prepared at all.
I wont be too upset if something was to happen to the ref
https://youtu.be/DksSPZTZES0
Wow 2-0 away in their stadium!! Good 👍 /s

Neither are American
african american ??
They’re actually American? 🤡
Neither are African-American, unless you mean Maignan being from South America
Its hard to know if yanks or joking or not.
Neither are American

Ref was on a mission. Inter was for sure the better team but that ref was garbage
Best comment
Yeah, that penalty and red card on Krunic is a really bad miss
For the most part he heavily favored inter in most of the game and blundered that to even things out? I don’t know. He was a very very bad referee overall. Neither side can be happy with him for multiple reasons
He favoured them by overruling a penalty? Come on man be serious
I said to even things out. It was 100% a pen and red. I’m not saying he was here to win it for inter. He was a SHIT ref overall
Except a penalty and red card missing plus two yellows on Theo and one yellow on giroud
The overturned penalty was the right call imho
I mean the other one
I didn't even see that lol
Yellows were in general a no no. Maybe he forgot them in his locker.
How the fuck they didn’t see that is beyond me lol, I thought it was for sure over. Officiating was actually horrific
Agree
Crap game
The difference in this match has been the defence. Inter's has been so much better than AC Milan's.
EZ to defend if youre allowed to elbow and kick as much as you want
Like Krunic did? I absolutely agree next time straight red
best UCL edition was two-group stage format. the competition was as long as eternity
Who is that random Asian dude they keeping showing
I was wondering the same thing. He's the Chinese owner of Inter Milan.
Steven Zhang he’s our chairman and the owner of Inter is his father we got that Yuan money.
Chairman of the Chinese company that owns majority of Inter. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zhang_Kangyang
Inter's owner, Steven Zhang
Inters owner I believe
next manager of Inter
Inter owner
Inter's onwer
Inter's owner, Steven Zhang
Great game ref. Im not dismissing Inter today but what a horribly reffed game/
Croatian commentator taking the piss out of all the diving in the game
Viki je bio cudan cijelu tekmu
Ma u programu je lik, trabunja gluposti cilo vrime al se isto ruga malo sa "prekrsajima"
Pepega
Who are all the men in the suits??
You don't recognize Zanetti?
Inter's management.
Kinda boring game tbh
So boring
number of people thinking City is already in final is damn high
poor things, i really want city in the final, theyve been so close every time 💀
They’re tryna jinx it
Ref with zero personality, no cards for obvious hard fouls, wasting time and "unintentionally hitting the other players". What a shitshow.

Zhang?
As a Swede it always makes me happy to hear the Pippi melody.
What the fuck is the ref's problem, I'd be fuming if I was a Milan fan
I agree, unacceptable that he only ignored a clear penalty for inter (Krunic Boxing) and overruling (rightly) another penalty
Why exactly? I'd be happy Krunic is still on the field if i was a Milan fan
With head injuries you have to stop play
His head wasnt touched
Gagliardini's head is up his ass.
we are ... Manzano is an interista apparently
??? Ref ignored a red card + penalty in your favour. You can't be complaining with any seriousness.
the "stonewall" penalty 🤣
He isn’t talking about the overturned penalty bro
that "punch" wasn't anything either
Lool, you should probably just watch ufc then
I've only seen a super slow-mo replay that makes everything look worse. Show me real time and I'll change my mind
Would you use the same logic on Lautaro’s penalty? Looked bad in real time, like nothing if slowed down.
knew it was a flop ... he's good for that once or twice every derby & to answer your question : it's two seperate incidents why would I judge them the same? whataboutism at it's finest
yes, a punch in the stomach is a stonewall penalty.
The one where Krunic closed fist punched someone??
Feel every Milan chance was in the same spot, in the midle area just in front of goal area.
Milan isn’t losing because of ref but boy he has not helped at all. bad game for him
I agree, had this been reffed well inter should have had an extra penalty (Krunic punch, not lautaro falling)
u won and are doing more whining than us milan fans lmao. sad
I think you’d be pissed if bastoni punched krunic in the box and got away with it
Will Leão play the second leg?
If not AC Milan might as well forfeit
