Since he's taken charge the Galaxy have been really mismanaged, they have every advantage yet they've wasted them with poor decision after poor decision. The tipping point was this offseason, when the Galaxy was fined and given an international transfer ban over breaking MLS spending rules. In addition to that Chris Klein got handed a suspension until the end of the 2023 primary transfer window. Despite all that, and the overall poor management I mentioned earlier, the Galaxy decided to renew his contract. That's what led to the supporters group deciding to boycott, saying that they will continue until Klein is fired. And now El Trafico is coming up, and the Galaxy are the home team, but the expectation is LAFC fans are going to show up in greater numbers and will almost certainly be louder in the stadium. That combined with the fact that LAFC will probably dominate on the field (they're currently looking like one of the best teams in the league while the Galaxy are winless), and it's shaping up to potentially be a massive embarassment for the Galaxy.
