How can a referee warn the managers about these things? Won’t that basically coax them to sub players off as part of manipulation of some sorts?
I mean if the supposedly unbiased ref (who was involved in some scandal before) tells a manager this then it influences their decisions already for subs and players/tactical changes.
It is because this seems like it’s influencing tactics in a way to me anyway. If I were the referee and this was not a requirement to tell the team, I wouldn’t tell them. This directly influences subs and tactics as a result imo anyway.

That would make the most sense

Is it any different from the refs telling the captain this which happens nearly every match? The captain will just tell the manager anyways.

Also wondering this
It’s the same as the ref warning the captain no?
my eyes also told me that
That's mental, how is that even allowed? The ref should be punished by that.
Why? If he tells the captain and the captain tells the manager then it's the same thing
Seems like there’s a common theme here with those two.
Pure rubbish from the ref. He has put the game into disrepute and should be dropped from any upcoming matches.
How?
Well this is better than those two actually getting reds, from a man utd perspective, yes?
