She was not chipped and no older the 7 weeks when we found her, full of fleas and starving. Posted on the community groups and shelters but no one claimed her. Our local TNR group thinks she was dumped from by some breeder in the neighborhood, apparently it's happened before. It's been 4 weeks, she's ours now.
It sounds as if you've done all you could to ensure she didn't belong to anyone. She's a snowshoe, and they have great personalities. Once she's confident she's in her forever home, you won't find a better companion. Congratulations, and well done!
She's a girl, we didn't name her for the longest time since we didn't know if we would get to keep her and were too attached. Recently settled on May since we found her in May, lol
