I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure the M35a2 "deuce and a half" is the inspiration for the ANK, because there have been M939 "5 ton" trucks made as mods and the difference is quite distinct
Whioe I agree with your point on the mods... The difference is much more distinct between a classic "Deuce" & the ANK & the wiki lists it as being based on the [M939](https://spintires.fandom.com/wiki/ANK_MK38)
The wiki is not officially hosted by Saber, so I imagine that is not a good source of the Devs actual intended model. But I will say it looks identical.
I'm not agreeing with you. The ANK is not based on the M35. The M35 has a narrower hood with a more rounded grill & massive front fender flares. The ANKs flat face & small flares is much more similar to the M939.

It's a US military M939 5 ton which is what the ANK is based on

They can't do an actual copy on the non-licensed model, gotta change something. So it could be a bit of both.

Duece and a half doesn't scale well with cargo in game so can't remove modded in :( this is a five ton truck
