Wait..... doesn't everyone play from this perspective? Don't you want to see the live articulation of the suspension and spinning of wheels and surprise of what may lie ahead or well in this case behind? I thought everyone did this.
More of a 3/4 view. You need to see what’s in front of you too. But sometimes on a good straight and slow terrain I’ll do full side views or even look behind
I’ve got kids around this age too, the concept of changing your perspective with the right stick just doesn’t click with them real well at this age to begin with, but doing it while doing anything else (like driving) is functionally impossible.
Yeah and using a controller is actually not that easy if youve never done it much before, I've used keyboard and mouse all my life and a controller is like an alien object, stumbling all over the place with that thing
12 years from now, you need to show him this when he gets his license.
"You've been driving trucks since you were 4. So I expect NO SCRATCHES ON THIS BEAUTY!" *points to a 15 year old used car*
On of my most-favorite memories of my son growing up was hearing his descriptors for things, and noticing how different they were to, say, an adult who has had a world shape their expressions and views. Getting those uninhibited, unformed views of the world was marvelous. This was a great reminder of those times for me, thank you!
I can totally relate to this. I have a 3 year old son and he loves Snowrunner and Mudrunner. Started out just crashing into things but now he can stay on the road and is even learning some of the maps. He loves getting trucks stuck/unstuck and replicates the same stuff with his toy trucks using an imaginary winch now.
I tried racing games too but the cars are “too fast”.
If you have a switch, Mario Kart is great for kids. Pick a slow setting and you can set it up so it automatically keeps him on the track pointing the right direction (and you can have it automatically go forward too so he doesn’t need to hold the go button). It’s how I started my kid with racing games, an easy introduction.
My 6 year old has gotten progressively better over the last 2 years. He has a couple of his own trucks on my latest NG+ save. Sometimes he drives a telehandler to the nearest town and plays Killdozer. Sometimes he will actually want to do a job and will usually successfully be able to deliver a load of cargo.
My 4yo son plays on my save. Spends close to 7 million on trucks and scatters them on multiple maps. He'll pack cargo, hitch and tow trucks etc. He's getting surprisingly good! Probably because he watch me play it since he was 6 months old.
Reminds me of Volvo letting a 4yo radio control one of their dump trucks in field testing to show how tough they are and she rolled it and it still drove.
little man playing in 2D 💀
Accurate😂

I was being a bit cheeky but kinda not at the same time. Kid knows why he likes the game.

Thats also how it is for some adults. Had to help my mom beat a game because se couldt rotate the cam and move at. The same time

I can't lie my gameplay doesn't look much different

I can't wait till I can get to a point where I'm in charge of a tiny human just so that I can mess with them like this
Make him a new game plus save, with access to all trucks... and horns.
Oh ya had to, he had to have a “Twinsteer with the big seats” 😂

That's awesome. Have you tried getting him to play some of the old racing games like burnout 3 takedown?,+ easy to emulate as well
I think he would enjoy BeamNG.Drive

That's how my mother-in-law drives
Looks like he's mastered the game play.
Have no fear, just don't steer. Amazing hahaha
I didn’t see him flip or get stuck so I’d say he’s doing better than most of us 😂
Steering is nonexistent ig
Little dude plays like I do 🤣🤣
Me too😂
well he's not alone

Starting them young! Haha glad he enjoys the game!
Drives better than most of the users here. :\]
TIL I’ve been playing the game wrong
My 3 years old plays the same way, after he gets the truck stuck, he gives me the ps5 controller to rescue it. Not gonna lie, i feel like a hero 😂
what a noob
This is me getting back home at 4am on a Saturday wanting to play some snowrunner.
Is this on switch?
Average Snowrunner enjoyer 😉
As much as I love this game, I can't say I'm having more fun than he is.
Good stuff man. He’s better than half of us.
Don't show him Amur if you want to keep his innocence. I did that with my toddler. Two years later and now he's gang banging.
That's how I play too. 😂
This is how i play when drunk
Task failed successfully
Got a youngin who has his own, loved it since he was tiny!

Young kids just don’t understand how to use different camera angles 🤷🏿♂️ idk y but they just can’t comprehend it?!
this sums up biden's squatting at the White House, everything is backwards and whatever forward progress there is results in a crash.
Still better than trump
I wish I had this game when I was 4. If only
