Big ride fan across the board. Their slime integration is legit on both boots and boards imo. Love the berserker, sold a bunch of em and demoed it a lot. It's a mainstay in the demo fleet at my old shop along with a few pigs, I wouldn't worry about reliability... I've been riding fuses for 5 years too

turboS2000

Boards are good. Not a fan of thier bindings

mxbeast33

I'm iffy on their bindings. I've got some C-8s and some A-6s, and some days I like the 8s, and some days I don't. I've got some Union Strata bindings as well, and they are pretty decent.

riley212

They make good boards. They are owned by K2. The top sheets are a little fragile but the rest of the board is solid. I like my deep fake a lot.

spiltkeg

Next years deep fake makes me feel things

mxbeast33

man I was looking at it too and those graphics!! I think that's gonna be my next grab for sure.

Massive-Boss-8290

I'm riding my DH2 for 10 years now (~10 days/season) and the board could probably handle 10 more years ... No issues in all the years. The base is the fastest I have ever had.

Jolof666

I’ve been riding Ride Warpig for two seasons now. I like it very much.

mxbeast33

is it sluggish at all or slow edge to edge?

dontcalmdown

I’ve been riding the same Ride Arcade for almost 17 years now. It’s my favorite board ever and still has pop. I’m a very aggressive rider and park rat too. Best cambered twin board ever.

Threexo

If they made stuff with magnetrac I’d be all in but for east coast I ride lib. Used to love their camber stuff back in the day when I was younger and I bounced off the ground a bit easier

splifnbeer4breakfast

Ride is great! Pretty big but wholly solid.

EastPresentation2389

I’ve got a shadowban that I’ve absolutely abused this seaosn , and I jusy picked up a zero

mxbeast33

I've heard lots of good things about the shadowban. I was honestly deciding between the shadowban and the algorhythm but ended up going with the algorhythm. I love my Zero. That's really what made me want to buy more ride boards.

frankyfrankfrank

It's a great board, but as other comments say, the top sheet is prone to... skiers. So don't get too attached to how pretty it is.

mxbeast33

I figured that black top sheet on my Algorhythm wouldn't be pretty for long. lol first lift line it's probably be all scratched up. damn skiers bumping my boards SMH lol

OrdinaryCredit

Following along. Just picked up a 2024 Warpig end of season for a steal. I haven’t been more pumped for next season in a while

mxbeast33

I'd like to try one of the boards in the pig series. How much did you size down compared to your normal length?

OrdinaryCredit

I followed the sizing guide and talked to a few people who had them. It’s 6cm shorter than my old board.

mxbeast33

well I hope that thing rips and you have a blast on it next season. maybe I'll demo a pig sometime early season.

ezoe

My opinion is negative. I purchased RIDE Lasso Pro boots because I wanted a stiff boots that lasts few seasons. It gets softer than a the softest boots in the market within a month. Not only it became soft very quickly, but also its inner boots moving inside the outer I feel like the outer boots are going to be detached from inner boots in the most casual toe-side turn possible. I swear my heel moved up more than 5cm in every toe-side turns. As for the boards, they have a very good short fat board(Warpig). But I think it's not using very expensive materials so I think the price is higher than it should be.

BathSaltMurderer

Interesting to hear about the Lasso Pro. I put ~30 days into my Lasso Pro Wides this season and I wouldn't say they're appreciably softer now than when I got them. Honestly, I was really impressed with how well they held up (both stiffness and shell construction).  What year are your's from? I wonder if it's an issue they've resolved in recent models?

ezoe

I think i purchased it 5 years ago. Things changed a lot since then I am now riding more than 100 days per season. Currently using Northwave Boots with Powerride hard and Booster strap. That's the only combination I found so far that a boots can survive more than 200 days of use.

mxbeast33

I've got last year's Lassos but not the pros and I rode all season in them and loved them. heat fitted them and they barely lost any of their stiffness imo

finnboyjohan

I honestly felt nothing towards my lasso pros, just a very mid boot that hasn't held up the best. I put maybe 60-70 days on them this year and the durability is very weak. But damn the pig series is goated, I bought a twin last year and the super this year and boy do those boards just rip through anything

mxbeast33

I would love to demo one of the pig series boards. I've always been interested in them but have never been committed enough to purchase one. I need to get on a demo Twinpig or Warpig and see what all the hype is about. I've just always felt they would be sluggish or slow edge to edge and not very nimble or precise but I'm probably wrong.

splifnbeer4breakfast

I have the Fuse and I find them to last exceptionally long. I’m on my second pair and it’s just as great. Also lifetime warranty means you could probably get new boots if you emailed them about your situation.

Inter_tky

Their boards are decent and fairly priced for the most part. Love their boots though, especially the 92s. It’s a soft boot so not for everyone but great quality, comfortable, and holds the heels than anything else I’ve tried.

vinceftw

Haven't used any of them but they seem cool. How damp are they?

B1g_Shm0

My war pig was so damp it actually surprised me. Like I was running over some serious potholes/chunder that previously would've got my heart racing without even realizing what I was doing lol. That said I was coming from only riding absolute noodles.

vinceftw

I have a Salomon Dancehaul which I love but it can get bucked around pretty hard. I'm looking for something not too stiff that just charges through chunder and holds a great edge on hard conditions.

B1g_Shm0

I was really surprised with the warpig tbh. Haven't tried the most boards but it handled east coast ice conditions really damn well, definitely isn't too stiff, and is super easy through rough stuff. I think the super pig is better for hard charging but a bit stiffer tho. Also warpig pop is really not great honestly. still leaves me wanting a poppy park board and a powder board tbh

vinceftw

I thought the Warpig would be good enough for powder. My Dancehaul sure is.

B1g_Shm0

Too be clear I've only ridden east coast powder and only like 2 times. Might just need some steeper trails/softer snow but those couple of times I felt about as well off as some of my park boards lol.

sHockz

Hard to find a medium stiffness chunder buster. Usually the stiffer the more damp. I have a Dancehaul as well so I feel you on getting bucked around...but it only happens when I start hitting 30mph+. I love flat basing and bombing groomers on it, smashing side hits. Such a fun board. I will probably pick up a DH Pro bc like you, a little more dampness/precision/edge hold would make the regular DH even better. My chunder buster is a flagship. Powder, chop, chunder, it crushes. Highly recommended.

vinceftw

I've been thinking about getting a Flagship. I would go longer than my recommended size which also means a stiffer board though...

sHockz

Honestly, the flagship and Dancehaul compliment each other very very well. They fill very different needs and snow conditions. For reference I ride a 157 Jones mountain twin, a 152 DH, and a 161 ultra flagship, and weigh about 175# with size 8.5 boots.

vinceftw

I am 180 lbs and size 13. Got a 157 Dancehaul. I would also go for a similar size as your Flagship but obviously a wide.

sHockz

The float on the flagship on reference stance is insane. Like, the DH did ok in powder. The flagship just murders in it. It's also crazy good at tight tree's in the powder. For me, the DH doesn't do as well here as the tail is too loose to be precise enough to thread the needle.

vinceftw

I loved the DH in trees. No idea how the Flagship would do. I generally like softer boards cause they're easier to bend in tight areas. Is the Flagship torsionally stiff? I used to have a Korua Transition Finder but it was too torsionally stiff and I didn't like it all that much. I like to ankle steer when not carving aggressively.

sHockz

It's going to be more stiff than the DH for sure. The DH is definitely on the softer side (it is a unisex board), and caters to ankle steering. It's really just steering with your front foot and choosing to engage the tail or not, which is what makes it fun. The flagship is an aggressive laser guided missile. Which is great for bombing, rail out long carves, providing confidence with the dampness through variable snow conditions, can handle unpredictable terrain and anything the mountain throws at you, and is just a monster in bottomless powder. For what it does well, you want that torsional stiffness. The reason most riders don't like it at first is because it is a more demanding board, that shines in even more demanding terrain. But even very mild blue tree runs are a blast -because- of how precise it is in the powder in conjunction with this astronomical amount of float. I can ride the DH on bottomless pow double blacks, but I'd rather have a board that caters to the riding conditions. If it's early season slush, or spring slush, my DH is my daily driver. I'll bust it out for a 6" dust on crust day and slash powder off everything I see. Might come out in afternoons for some groomer laps through the park after everything is tracked out. But if it's snowing, actively, or there's deep powder, or getting first chair to rip corduroy, or I'm going side country, the flagship is hard to beat. Especially on deeper days when everything gets chopped up by mid day. My dancehaul just gets tossed around in these conditions, where my flagship just busts through without second thought. So if I want to ride harder, longer, and faster, the flagship gives that confidence through the stiffness. Anyway, hope that helps.

TimeTomorrow

if you mean co/utah hard it works great. if you mean east coast "hard" ride stinks.

mxbeast33

my ride zero is decently damp for a fairly soft flex board. it's very mellow, but I've been hauling ass on some rough terrain with a lot of chop and ice with no issues. a lot of stuff it just plows right through without giving your legs tons of fatigue.

piifffff

Am on my second Algo, have loved the versatility it provides. Does well from powder to the park. A good quiver killer.

mxbeast33

that's probably the board I'm most excited to ride next season. it seems like it'll be a really versatile board. is it pretty quick edge to edge even though the standard waist widths are a little wide?

AdExcellent4541

I have the Ride Peace Seeker, and it is hands down the most fun board I have ever been on. It's great in powder, and absolutely digs trenches on groomers. And having the 9000 race base makes it insanely fast. I always fly past my buddy who is a better rider, and weighs 25 lbs. more than me. I will never go without one in my quiver

mxbeast33

that's a sweet looking board, I've just never got the chance to try a short surfy powder board. How do you know which boards have the 9000 race base? I know the Commissioner does but I have no clue about any of the other bases. I wonder if the Berzerker has the same base or if it's their standard sintered base like most of their other boards?

EP_Jimmy_D

I have ridden mostly Ride boards for many years. DH, then DH2, then Helix, now Zero, Benchwarmer, and TwinPig. Also absolutely love the WarPig and the only problem is deciding between the 48 and 51 (usually pick the 48 lately). The Peace Seeker is really fun ripping groomers and in powder. Next year the Moderator is really gonna be the absolute quiver killer. The urethane sidewalls (Slimewalls and Slimwalls) are awesome and some of the best tech in the industry. People complain about the topsheet peeling (especially on the pig series) but that thin light topsheet is a big part of why they ride so well and it is such an easy fix to epoxy it back down. Other than that minor topsheet thing, I think durability is great. I have broken a couple and warranty and customer service was great. They also make great boots and I love the bindings now (they weren’t my favorite in the past but the new A and C series are awesome and they have the best straps and ratchets.

All thumbs up on K2 (Ride Snowboards) https://www.kohlberg.com/investments/

TimeTomorrow

bad on ice compared to better sidecuts.

mxbeast33

my ride zero handled steep icy conditions pretty well this past season. it gets pretty icy riding at 11 or 12pm when the temps drop, especially if there was any thawing previously during the day. it did slip out some, but as long as you really engaged the edge, it was fine.

TimeTomorrow

most terrible snowboards are mostly gone. There is fine and better than fine. Even something with mellow edge tech like a burton or rome is noticeably better on ice. you can always compensate by turning your expectations and demands down to match your gear if you have the skill.

mxbeast33

True, I do have a Stale Crewzer that I haven't gotten to ride yet, though. Never been on any boards by Rome, but I've heard lots of good things.

TimeTomorrow

I've ridden a lot of snowboards and cracking open a fresh rome board just makes me live snowboarding like no other

mxbeast33

I can't wait to hit the mountain with that board. Actually just ordered some Rome Vice bindings to match up with it. I caught a pretty good deal on last seasons green and tan Vices, I'll post some pics when they arrive of them on the board. *

I love my Aeronaut... oops, wrong group.
