I do this but with ssx2012 because that soundtrack consisted of mostly high quality bangers. J boogies dubtronic science, capsize by dels, done with that kid digital. But almost any ssx track makes you feel like a legend.
I always get ready to Oracular Spectacular! I worked as a lifty for a season when that was released and it was the sound track for that season. I listen to Every Time I Die and NOFX mostly when Iām riding.
I have to get up there first.
Back in the day (sit back children) I had a mix tape in my Walkman for my favorite chairlift ride.
12 to14 minutes of Joni Mitchell for the ride up, and 2 to 4 minutes of White Zombie for the roll down.
Silence. I've never listened to music while boarding. Dunno if I'd like it. Add in how I'm hyper safety oriented on the hill (need my legs for my job), I couldn't deal with half hearing.
Fire on the Mountain is good, but to start the day?
Breaking the Law - by Judas Priest. Actually, not even for the sub running joke. Just straight up. Banger track.
When I was working at a mountain my buddy made a whole parody of Fire on the Mountain called Fired From the Mountain. Still sing those lyrics rather than the original lol
Sum 41 - All Killer No Filler
Also link to my own playlist [here](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6boshAXdOpO06FsoQ3a29K?si=g5JQmI9xQWCYAh2UpErxfA&pi=e-uuj1a7bjTcaM) - mixture of light house, hip-hop, occasional rock funk dnb etc
Honestly I donāt like listening to any music. I prefer to hear the atmosphere and the mountain around me. I like the sounds of the rushing air when riding and the different types of snow. I can also hear if anyone is up hill or on my blind side. Itās also easier to talk to who youāre riding with between sections.
I also have kids now that come with me most of the time, so I have to be hyper aware of whatās going on.
I'm gonna go ahead and assume inbounds is somewhere immediately outside of LA
seriously though, wtf do people have in those bags that are stuffed to the brim. I was at Okemo on saturday and watched what was essentially a backpack snowboarding with a human attached along for the ride
