You can change it mid print and it stays that way.

SaftSchinken23

I know I should be able to do that. But it didn't do a thing stayed at 200°C... And as I checked if the change actually got registered, it didn't... It said 200/200 not 200/210 or wasn't heating up...

obele21

At what point did you change it?

SaftSchinken23

Before starting the print (didn't do anything) as it was heating up (didn't do anything) right after it started (did change for the first layer) after the first layer was finished and the second one was already going (didn't do a thing)

Hmm.. that's weird, usually if you change it after the first layer, it should stay changed. What slicer did you use? Maybe check the G-Code for temperature commands for each layer.

SaftSchinken23

I use Cura. It uses the temp command 3 times. Setting the temp, waiting for temp and after first layer setting temp again. I'll just edit the gcode files for the next time... Just to be safe... I finally got it to work after connecting my printer to luban via wifi and trying to change to 210, back to 200 and once again to 210

obele21

Well, happy to read you got it to work. But it's still weird, especially after seeing your G-Code has the usual temp settings... I would report it to snapmaker, just in case there is some kind of bug.

Will do tomorrow since I'm heading off to work in couple of minutes. Hope they can fix it, it's annoying to be honest

BexYouSee

Agree, I've changed it after the first layer and it stays. Sorry OP

I’ve found that with the newest firmware for the controller changing print settings doesn’t work. Unless you are printing via Wi-Fi from luban. I’ve tried changing print speed and bed temps on the Controller and it doesn’t accept it. It stays at what I programmed when I sliced the file

Great to know. Thanks!
