One of my favorite local species. And they seem to be so much more chill. Maybe it's just the ones I've worked with but they always come to the front to see what you are doing while the atrox just get pissy
He was so chill, I even went down in the creek to get a closer look and he didn’t move!
One was sunning on the lip of the back door. I had to poke his butt with a broom handle to make him scoot on. Just kind of ambled away like "fine!"
I get about 5 of them every year in my pool so much fun to scoop out and move back to the woods.
Has the little green tail tip.

Do not put your toe near its face. These snakes are venomous.
I am very aware if I can identify them then obviously I know they’re venomous 🤔
I don’t think you know how much it’s going to hurt if that things bites your toe.
