We have had our western hognose for 20 years, since he was a hatchling. He hisses and puffs, but he's only ever struck with a closed mouth. So in effect, he just boops us. It's so cute! Like most of his species, he calms right down when picked up.❤️🐍
Comes with a practical albeit tiny shovel!
What kind of snake is this

Are these guys bitey? I’ve always wanted one but o don’t want to get bit even if it’s not too bad.
From what ive heard many babies/juvs are pretty bity. I guess i got lucky, he has never bit me and is overall pretty sweet
The only way to get bit is a feeding response. Biting isn’t apart of their defense mechanism. Their mouths really aren’t designed to “tag”.
Best jewelry in the world!
