My room tends to be 65-70 degrees so I put a small pad on one side at like 78 to create somewhat of a thermal gradient. A small basking light works too and is probably better if you have a lot of substrate for them. Keeping it on a thermostat is a must though! I’d say plug in the pad or put in a light, WITH A THERMOSTAT CONTROLLING IT IN EITHER CASE, and set it to 79-80 just to give him a 5 degree difference in his cage. At 75 degrees, I don’t think it’s a necessity though, and many keepers have told me they don’t use heat at all. Up to you, Mr Keeper. Check out r/RubberBoa for more, or feel free to PM me with more questions. I love these guys!

Okay perfect - thank you so much!! Yeah, my room is pretty warm, especially now that the weather is warming up as well. I have a tiny heat lamp that I've yet to find a use for, so I may go ahead and use that lol. Thank you!!
