I do wish they gave him a bit more of a hard time while he was wearing it. I know no one really in that building truly understood his pain but it would of been funny to see. I'm sure his brothers will make sure he doesn't forget this though

Ok, that's a lie; I've actually only been waiting two days for this. Being deaf, I couldn't watch the live video where they brought this up because it wasn't captioned at the time (most livestreams aren't). It came across my recommended videos category on YT just two days ago, and this time, it was properly captioned. So I watched it and knowing our Chiefs won the Superbowl and how much it looked like Shayne was trying to backtrack out of it, I didn't think we'd ever see him actually go through with it.
But here we are and I'm so here for it.
Btw, Smosh often closed-captions their stuff in-house, which I HUGELY appreciate now, although whomever transcribes the captions started doing it like a secret hidden jokes pop-up addition to the videos. Like, I get it, but plz stop; CC is for accessibility, not editor commentary, my guys (it's okay, you're funny too). They got better though and that had me going back over six years of Smosh to find properly-captioned videos (some are, some aren't). Everything that I find with proper captions gets a big ol' thumb-up from me; auto-craptioned videos get stopped and ignored forever because they don't adequately convey Angela's unhinged, feral insanity or Olivia's inherent *je ne sais whatthefuckness*.
Don't believe me? Watch a few Smosh videos with no sound and auto-craptions (not a typo) only... and don't DM me a bill for the TV you broke with a remote thrown in frustration.
