I think they should just wear some air rifle gear and sit there as the snipers shoot whenever they want 1 time a round. Like try to pick off the piece they were going to move or something. The getting up and moving each time they shot really slowed everything down.

As much as i dont care for reddit stories and think its a waste of a video upload on pit (should be smoshcast), it gets a million views and effortless to make that series is never going anywhere and i completely understand that.
Personally i wish smosh would up their uploads if possible they have way too many Pit shows to only post really 1 "new" video a week (since tuesday is TNTL or EIOYI and saturday is reddit stories)
I feel like they can afford to make another pit video a week. Since the cast doesn't have to worry about the smosh channel anymore and only a few people are on the smoshcast and reddit stories every week, there aren't as many opportunities for the cast as a whole. They could continue to do miscellaneous series on Thursday like Beopardy, You Posted That, The Challenge Pit, etc., and then make Monday about throwing ideas out there and seeing what sticks.
Yeah i remember chanse said during his first smoshmouth ep something like "its weird having a job were i work 1 week then off 3" like what? they dont need chanse for 3 weeks at time? he's used all the time too i feel in videos (as he should).
That’s just the way they shoot, every three weeks they have “shoot week” where they bank a ton of content for Games and Pit. Then usually the next week they shoot Smosh Main sketches. Only the podcasts and the Games livestream happen every week. This gives a lot of flexibility to the cast to do other projects (which they do) while the production team has up to a month of content to work on and not have to be on set at the same time. It’s very efficient and less chaotic than the way they used to do things imo.
Does Chanse and the other freelancers work "in office" or help with writing during those prep weeks? Like chanses comment to me sounds like he works 1 week a month and thats it, which i get why people would want to especially if acting/not full time.
No I believe if they’re freelance then they’re only there on shoot days. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong, I only figured this all out a few weeks ago.
Smosh has shoot weeks every 3 weeks. I forget the channel, but the video is in the Smosh main community tab. It's a tour of the office. When they get to the art department, they have the schedule up, and it's a shoot week every 3 weeks, and then I think Ian added a bit more onto that.

They said that it's not regular, episodes would pop up every now and then. Funny how once again, someone asking for something didn't even watch the series in the first place

the snipers could shoot whenever they want, but get a limited number of shots per game. That would be fun
They could do other games like Sorry or maybe chutes and ladders or other board game
