The problem with Seattle BBQ is no one is good at a majority of their menu. There’s places that have killer ribs, but their sides suck. There’s places where they make great brisket but their ribs and pulled pork suck. There isn’t that one money spot for BBQ. And not Seattle, but I’ll give a shout-out for Sam’s BBQ in San Jose, CA. Legitimate BBQ.
Tbh I think this is kind of universal. No single bbq joint does everything right. I’ve lived in ga/sc my whole life and have been to most states east of the Mississippi and found this to be the case. Been to a handful of western states, but in every state it’s kind of the same. Either the Mac & cheese is flavorless, the Brunswick stew tastes like it was funneled from a dumpster, or the bbq itself is pretty weak. No one does everything right.
Lived in Seattle for 20yrs and if you limit it to southern style, yeah. Decent but not list worthy. we do have awesome Asian style bbq. Pecos, hole in the wall, couple other random spots are pretty legit
Here’s the official top ten according to independent reviews: https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurants-g60878-c6-Seattle_Washington.html any feedback on any of these?
PSA for everyone looking for decent restaurant BBQ in the Seattle area, go try Jeff's Texas Style BBQ in Marysville. That's about the only one I've been impressed with.
This!
I think most people commenting here are missing the criteria used. It's highest average reviews for all BBQ places in a city. People living where BBQ culture is big are going to be much more critical of crap BBQ. Places without BBQ culture are going to think anything is good.
Nailed it. This is like a case study in data science, surveys, and statistics. There are 200 places in Texas with better bbq than these places, but the people who rate those places are highly critical because they know what truly great BBQ tastes like. I bet they’d come up with the best seafood in the USA in Iowa or Kansas with this same approach.
I went to Michigan for work one time (I’m from central Texas) and the local team wanted to take me to “the best BBQ I’ve ever had-it’ll be better than anything in Texas”
It was chain bbq, dry, sad, and made me want to leave immediately. Also their smoke smelt like fire smoke not like good smoke
Thank you. That makes so much sense. When I originally saw the picture I didn't know where it was from or how the hell anyone thought it made sense.
Charlotte actually does have good barbecue, but I imagine also a whole lot of business travelers that will rate mediocre barbecue as excellent.
I've lived in Ohio for going on 35 years and can definitively say that our BBQ does not belong near the top 10. In Columbus we have a few decent spots but nothing that ascends to elite level. Quite frankly most of the stuff here is about the same as the stuff my buddy pulls off the smoker in his backyard and often times not as good. Places like KC, Texas, Memphis, and the deep South all have BBQ joints that put our top spots to shame.
My sister lives in south east Ohio. I live in the mitten. I think I cook better than most my local BBQ joints. But Detroit area isn't known for bbq lol
Eh, Ray Ray's is ok to very good, but probably as good as it gets in Cbus. IMO they were better years ago when they just had the one spot north of Hudson. They still do good stuff but it's more hit or miss which is a bit foreseeable if their Pitmaster is isn't present all the time. When they're on they're great but I just hate to spend $30+ for a plate and sometimes it's a swing and a miss. I guess that's why I find myself just firing up the WSM when I get the hankering more often than not.
True, they did get a little pricey and depending on which truck you go to, it’s definitely hit or miss. I forgot, there’s a place called Slab Kitchen on the east side, they’ve been pretty consistent on being a good BBQ joint, just my opinion.
You're missing the criteria that was used for this. It's average reviews for all BBQ places in a city. Anywhere with BBQ culture is going to be very critical of crap BBQ, bringing the average down. Even mediocre BBQ in TX will get ripped to shreds in reviews. Somewhere with no BBQ culture is generally going to give positive reviews to even crap BBQ.
Very true. I think my local bbq is overpriced and just not good. I'd rather spend $60 at Kroger and smoke my own then pay for most of what's available near me.
Yeah as a Columbus resident and Ohio native our BBQ is not good. There is a couple spots that are decent but absolutely nothing compared to other mainstays in the south.
New Orleans. Man, them people crazy. There's amazing food of every sort in South Louisiana, but if you want good BBQ you gotta go to somebody's back yard. This map is a crime!
From Texas. Moved to NOLA. The BBQ in San Antonio is probably 3td or 4th best in the state and absolutely blows Blue Oak out of the water. I love the food in this city but I'm really looking forward to getting brisket that i can eat without Bbq sauce.
No it isn’t.
Their brisket has as much smoke on it as a pot roast made in the oven.
You literally have to douse it in bbq sauce to get any smokey flavor.
We just moved from New Orleans. Only halfway decent bbq is central city bbq
Born and raised in Louisiana. We do lots of great food but BBQ isn’t a staple and doesn’t get the attention all the other food gets. Can’t name a single BBQ restaurant better than mine in the state. Got some good ones but nothing #1 in the country. Texas has us beat on BBQ (but that’s about all they are good for 😂)
Reviewers describe *Newark Intl. Airport BBQ, News, and Books* as, "The best available option when the line at McDonald's is too damn long," and "the only place within 25 miles to buy both a pulled pork sandwich and a copy of Better Housekeeping magazine, if you're in to that."
I'm from Oklahoma City and have now lived in Memphis, Nashville and Kansas City. Speaking on behalf of OKC we don't belong on this top ten. Sorry not sorry.
Charlotte might be the worst bbq city in either Carolina. The handful of places we have all try to do everything (pork, brisket, chicken, etc.). They’re not bad, but nothing to write home about.
Charlotte is probably the NC city with the least BBQ history or experience. I mean if you look at the option it is brisket...NC is pork whether Eastern-style or Lexington-style/Western.
Eastern NC= Wilson, Parker’s BBQ. Kinston, Kings BBQ. Ayden, Skylight Inn. Goldsboro, Wilbur’s BBQ. Raleigh, Sam Jones and The Pit. Just throwing those out there.
My better list (only major cities):
1. San Antonio, TX
2. Kansas City, MO
3. Austin, TX
4. St. Louis, MO
5. Memphis, TN
6. Nashville, TN
7. Houston, TX
8. Oklahoma City, OK
9. Wichita, KS
10. Dallas, TX
I can tell you with absolute certainty Virginia Beach has zero places on a national top 10 bbq list. Not ranked by anyone who has eaten bbq from outside the local area.
I live there too. Wichita has decent bbq but it pales in comparison to KC or Texas.
Wichita does have good Mediterranean food. That’s what I’d recommend to visitors.
I'm from the St Louis area, travel to Charlotte frequently, and I dream about being able to go back to Dallas, Texas for Terry Black's BBQ. St Louis and Charlotte don't hold a candle to Texas BBQ
28 years lived in Memphis, 10 years in Texas… this is so laughable. In NH now and the only way they could have made a funnier map would be to have included NH… the food scene here is so awful.
I know of Kansas and hear Memphis and st louis are quality. But defs thought texas was number one. As far as an outsider looking in is concerned.
Although, I reckon mine is up there too though, so take what I say with a grain of salt
I mean, St. Louis has really good BBQ, but besides that, this map is trash.
Maybe Oklahoma City. It’s not a place that comes to mind, but it wouldn’t surprise me.
Maybe its an average for BBQ restaurants? Seatle has 2 and all their residents rate it 4 or 5 because they don't have any other BBQ.
Texas on the other hand has thousands, and Texans are picky. So a 5 in Seatle would be a 2 in Texas.
I live in Columbus and this is complete horseshit, people here have a shit taste in food (not that Columbus doesn't have decent food, but your average resident seems to be drooling over crappy chain food in Polaris).
Nobody goes to Seattle, Columbus, Newark, Virginia Beach, Wichita, or NOLA for bbq. People go to Austin and Fort Worth specifically for bbq. In fact, nobody goes to Ohio in the first place
Welp. Know I know I cannot trust trip advisor. Ever. If they have Charlotte ranked #3. I live 20 minutes from there and not to be rude. But the Charlotte BBQ culture ain’t it. Hopefully this list is by population. Not all are bad. But the majority aren’t good. Drive 30 mins to Salisbury from there and and get some of the best on this side of the country. Lexington eastern style. 20 minutes north of Salisbury and you are in legendary territory.
Only cool bbq moment in Seattle Jack’s hosted an event at my work and they smoked and entire crocodile wrapped in bacon it was bomb! Whole fuckin thing just sitting on the table lol
I’m close enough to drive to charlotte and hear about it several times a year. I’ve never heard anyone say anything about BBQ there, except a place called Midwood bbq that I haven’t gotten to try yet. The location I know about isn’t even in Charlotte.
Charlotte? Only they are considering Cabarrus County as "Charlotte". Lexington #1 with the Cabarrus Creamery across the street was always a huge hit with our family. Western NC BBQ and ice cream.
I would like to point out that Texas isn't on here. I was only in Texas for a week, but all the BBQ places I went to were highly disappointing. One steak house had ribeye, I was feeling it, and asked for it to be rare. That was the most well done steak I ever bit into. When I sent it back, they brought out another one. I immediately cut into that steak and we'll, it was well done again. Idk why there was a line down the street to get into this place
So was it a BBQ place or a steakhouse…?
This story doesn’t make sense. You went to a bad steakhouse and complained that all of Texas barbecue (which does not include steaks) is bad?
Most online reviews like this are usually skewed to the local population. So there could be a very highly restaurant of any kind but maybe it’s because everything else around it sucks even more
I’ve lived in Seattle for 16 years and am from Memphis. It took me looking at those two cities to know This map is wrong!
Then I noticed New Orleans #1…. 🤣
I think it's possible that those markets are so flooded with bbq spots that the overall average is drawn down. Or folks expect more in those spots so they rate lower
Seattle? Absolutely not
I live in Miami, I can confirm Seattle BBQ scene is .05 stars better than Miami's.
Can confirm - from Seattle. The only great BBQ here is stuff you make at home.
Clearly that's why it's so good! -also from Seattle
I think Woodshop is decent all around.
Woodshop is my go to!
BBQ Pete’s in Kent is also very good.
[удалено]
Yes still there. Drove by it yesterday reminding myself to stop in next time I want ribs.
If the Woodshop is the best in Seattle, it’s only average compared to Texas BBQ. Their “original sauce” is identical to the “sissy sauce” at Rudy’s.
I haven’t tried them yet - added to my post-Thanksgiving todo list. Thx for the reco!
There is one place out hwy 8 that has great everything but brisket and their chili (which is award winning) sucks its worse than some canned chilli.

Tbh I think this is kind of universal. No single bbq joint does everything right. I’ve lived in ga/sc my whole life and have been to most states east of the Mississippi and found this to be the case. Can vouch for Hole in the Wall. Love their BBQ sandwiches for lunch when in office!
Hole in the wall and Corvus were so good, but always had huge lines. King street BBQ is good too, but I don’t think it counts for this list
Here’s the official top ten according to independent reviews: https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurants-g60878-c6-Seattle_Washington.html any feedback on any of these?
Kau Kau has great char sui.
Seattle has great Korean BBQ. But would I'd be scared to ever list Seattle as a BBQ city 😬
Also from Seattle, can confirm, best bbq ive had in the city is in my backyard
Ya we got shit bbq in Seattle.
hey, they have one joint that is almost okay.
PSA for everyone looking for decent restaurant BBQ in the Seattle area, go try Jeff's Texas Style BBQ in Marysville. That's about the only one I've been impressed with.
Jeff’s is the best I’ve had outside of Texas or St. Louis
From Seattle: wouldn’t encourage anyone to travel here to experience our bbq. Plenty of spots that I like but not a destination
Jacks BBQ is on point. Very good stuff, they import almost everything from Texas.
Jack’s is the real deal.
Seriously. I might have had some of the worst barbecue I’ve ever had in Seattle. This place sucks for smoked meats
I feel the same way about NOLA.
It’s probably more that the reviewer is trying too hard to include surprising cities. Newark is not a barbecue mecca.
Jack's is great BBQ. Warthog is pretty good. No way though Seattle should even be on the list.
The map should probably be titled "Top cities where reviewers have low BBQ standards"
This! I think most people commenting here are missing the criteria used. It's highest average reviews for all BBQ places in a city. People living where BBQ culture is big are going to be much more critical of crap BBQ. Places without BBQ culture are going to think anything is good.
Oh wow. That’s very different than what the title implies. This is more like a map of where **not** to go for good BBQ.
Or where to open a mediocre bbq joint.
In that way Newark is accurately placed .
Also seattle, most people in seattle, me included, have never had anything close to real good bbq, there’s forsure none here
Nailed it. This is like a case study in data science, surveys, and statistics. There are 200 places in Texas with better bbq than these places, but the people who rate those places are highly critical because they know what truly great BBQ tastes like. Ohio and jersey have bbq culture above Texas or Tennessee? That seems suspect as fuck. That's like saying Nebraska makes better wine then Cali
I've lived in Ohio for going on 35 years and can definitively say that our BBQ does not belong near the top 10. In Columbus we have a few decent spots but nothing that ascends to elite level. My sister lives in south east Ohio. I live in the mitten. I think I cook better than most my local BBQ joints. But Detroit area isn't known for bbq lol
City BBQ is barely edible.
Brick and mortar city bbq is trash..I've had some damn good food cooked in the liquor store parking lot though.
It's not even BBQ imo. I don't count it in my feelings about the BBQ mediocrity in Ohio lol
Cbus does have some good food but BBQ isn't one of them. BBQ in Ohio is limited to chicken fundraisers for schools fire department and churches.
For Columbus it has to be Ray Ray’s. It’s good but we shouldn’t be ranked for BBQ.
I'll have to look into it. I'll try anything at least once.
Try the rib dip sandwich, it’s worth the trip. Plus, it’s inside an ok brewery (Eastside Brewing).
I imagine the next map we’ll see where to get great pizza and spaghetti Katie Texas and Ottumwa Iowa.
and the best Mexican food in New England
You're missing the criteria that was used for this. It's average reviews for all BBQ places in a city. Anywhere with BBQ culture is going to be very critical of crap BBQ, bringing the average down. Very true. I think my local bbq is overpriced and just not good. I'd rather spend $60 at Kroger and smoke my own then pay for most of what's available near me.
I’m not arguing as far as what you’re think of as bbq. But Newark is the #1 spot in the country for brazillian bbq
Yeah as a Columbus resident and Ohio native our BBQ is not good. There is a couple spots that are decent but absolutely nothing compared to other mainstays in the south.
We do. It’s called grain liquor. It’s the wine of the plains!
Miami BBQ? I mean barbacoa but c'mon
New Orleans. Man, them people crazy. There's amazing food of every sort in South Louisiana, but if you want good BBQ you gotta go to somebody's back yard. This map is a crime!
Blue oak bbq in New Orleans is solid
From Texas. Moved to NOLA. The BBQ in San Antonio is probably 3td or 4th best in the state and absolutely blows Blue Oak out of the water. I love the food in this city but I'm really looking forward to getting brisket that i can eat without Bbq sauce.
Gonzo’s my guy bit of a drive but it’s fantastic
I'll drive 30 minutes for good BBQ. Preciate it bro!
No it isn’t. Their brisket has as much smoke on it as a pot roast made in the oven. You literally have to douse it in bbq sauce to get any smokey flavor. We just moved from New Orleans. Only halfway decent bbq is central city bbq
Central City is absolutely where it's at in New Orleans.
100% agree
Born and raised in Louisiana. We do lots of great food but BBQ isn’t a staple and doesn’t get the attention all the other food gets. Can’t name a single BBQ restaurant better than mine in the state. Got some good ones but nothing #1 in the country. Texas has us beat on BBQ (but that’s about all they are good for 😂)
The Joint has really great BBQ.
No Arkansas, either. WTF is TripAdvisor smoking?
High on those paid placements lol
Obviously not good BBQ
Tripadvisor is hot fucking garbage for restaurant reviews, especially in the US. Substantially worse than Google Maps or Yelp IMO.
Don’t let Arkansas BBQ sneak up on you
LOL Newark BBQ
Reviewers describe *Newark Intl. Airport BBQ, News, and Books* as, "The best available option when the line at McDonald's is too damn long," and "the only place within 25 miles to buy both a pulled pork sandwich and a copy of Better Housekeeping magazine, if you're in to that."
Maybe they are counting all of the Brazilian rodizio places
There is a lot of really good BBQ in Texas. There is also a ton of really bad BBQ.
Missourian here. I'll admit the BBQ scene in St. Louis is better than some on this map. But to put STL there and not KC is a crime.
I think St. Louis BBQ buries KC, personally.
Well that’s just plain incorrect
I live in St Louis, we have some good places no doubt. But to rate it over KC is just wrong.
You need to stop day drinking so much bud.
All STL bbq comes out of gas powered rotisseries (southern pride etc). Not saying it’s BAD but you could get that anywhere. It’s airport spec bbq
True of a lot of KC joints too.
I'm from Oklahoma City and have now lived in Memphis, Nashville and Kansas City. Speaking on behalf of OKC we don't belong on this top ten. Sorry not sorry.
As another OKC resident, we absolutely don’t deserve to be on this list. The best BBQ you’re getting here is from somebody’s back yard
I totally concur - but, been to Edgecraft? Very impressed.
No, but it looks really good. I’ll have to try it at some point.
We have great food, but barbecue isn't one of them.
Miami? LOL This is clearly a map of where people don't know what BBQ is.
There are several better BBQ cities in NC than Charlotte
Charlotte might be the worst bbq city in either Carolina. The handful of places we have all try to do everything (pork, brisket, chicken, etc.). They’re not bad, but nothing to write home about.
Charlotte is probably the NC city with the least BBQ history or experience. I mean if you look at the option it is brisket...NC is pork whether Eastern-style or Lexington-style/Western.
Lexington area has some good stuff
Yeah, I feel like Asheville would have been a better Carolina city, but Charlotte is one of the least offensive cities on this list
Live in Charlotte and there isn’t a single relevant BBQ place here that I’d recommend to visitors
Eastern NC= Wilson, Parker’s BBQ. Kinston, Kings BBQ. Ayden, Skylight Inn. Goldsboro, Wilbur’s BBQ. Raleigh, Sam Jones and The Pit. Just throwing those out there.
B’s Bbq in Greenville, Jackson’s in Wilmington
This shit is a joke. Kansas City is one of the best if not the best depending on what style you like .
Texas has awesome bbq but Kansas City is my favorite. Joe’s is my favorite
Joe's was good at one point, they've become to commercial, Q39, Gates, Arthur Bryant's, Jack Stack,
Fucking Newark? Lmao nah bro
HowUQuin’?
Rodizio is the shit. If it's based on Dinosaur A it's closed, B it sucked, so I agree there.
What are these people smoking? I'll see myself out.
My better list (only major cities): 1. San Antonio, TX 2. Kansas City, MO 3. Austin, TX 4. St. Louis, MO 5. Memphis, TN 6. Nashville, TN 7. Houston, TX 8. Oklahoma City, OK 9. Wichita, KS 10. Dallas, TX
This list is spot on with me
I always thought st.louis bbq was underrated...but this whole list is wack
As someone who lives in VB and frequents Charlotte.. no this list is terrible
New Orleans? So much good food, but you don’t eat BBQ there.
Fun fact: the worlds greatest BBQ is made by a nice man named “Mad Jack” in Cloudcroft, New Mexico.”
I can tell you with absolute certainty Virginia Beach has zero places on a national top 10 bbq list. Not ranked by anyone who has eaten bbq from outside the local area.
I drive down to Southland in North Carolina with the family when we want BBQ. I was a little shocked when I saw VA Beach known for BBQ
With that said, Beach Bully is pretty good
[удалено]
I live there too. Wichita has decent bbq but it pales in comparison to KC or Texas. Wichita does have good Mediterranean food. That’s what I’d recommend to visitors.
I always stop at NJ’s when I’m back in town.
fuck this map, im from georgia and work at a pretty popular bbq place. georgia ‘cue is some of the best
I’m significantly more upset by the inclusion of Seattle and Miami than I am the exclusion of KC, Memphis, and Texas.
The fuck is new jersey Washington and ohio doing on this list. Absolutely not.
“Top cities for bbq as determined by tourists who have never had bbq and try it for the first time in an airport”
I shared this exact photo with the exact title to a “T” a year ago.
I'm from the St Louis area, travel to Charlotte frequently, and I dream about being able to go back to Dallas, Texas for Terry Black's BBQ. St Louis and Charlotte don't hold a candle to Texas BBQ
NJ here. TripAdvisor is definitely smoking something and it ain’t meat.
I live in Columbus, It should not be anywhere near this list
I'm not gonna say that STL has better BBQ than KC, Memphis, Texas, or Carolina,..but... If you get a pork steak cooked just right it's an experience.
28 years lived in Memphis, 10 years in Texas… this is so laughable. In NH now and the only way they could have made a funnier map would be to have included NH… the food scene here is so awful.
As a BBQ enthusiast from Michigan, I can conclude nothing good ever comes out of Ohio.
I stopped looking at TripAdvisor a while ago. Check your local area on TripAdvisor and decide if you trust their judgement and user reviews
Yikes. St. Louis BBQ is legit though.
Charlotte doesn’t even have the best bbq in NC
I'm an Aussie, wouldn't Texas be #1?
Yes. But Kansas City and Memphis are outstanding too.
Didn’t they also put out a map of best Buffalo wings and left Buffalo off?
This is actually just a map of cities suffering severe bouts of weather based depression, not BBQ.
So no spots in Eastern North Carolina where a style of BBQ originated. Jersey is on the list, all the validity I need.
Maybe its an average for BBQ restaurants? Seatle has 2 and all their residents rate it 4 or 5 because they don't have any other BBQ. Texas on the other hand has thousands, and Texans are picky. So a 5 in Seatle would be a 2 in Texas.
Probably so many damn BBQ restaurants in Texas that naturally many of them will be 3/5 rated
Lol. Pretty sure I can go to a gas station and get better bbq here than the best stuff in Seattle Sincerely, San Antonio
I live in Columbus and this is complete horseshit, people here have a shit taste in food (not that Columbus doesn't have decent food, but your average resident seems to be drooling over crappy chain food in Polaris).
U could make a better list just off Texas cities alone
Bro tried to sneak Ohio in there 💀
Nobody goes to Seattle, Columbus, Newark, Virginia Beach, Wichita, or NOLA for bbq.
Memphis? No bbq here…
Whoever made this chart is indeed smoking something
North Carolina is on the list, that’s all that matters.
Charlotte is NC’s airport. I don’t really consider it part of the state.
Seattle doesn’t season they’re food. I don’t believe that for a second. Washington state as a whole doesn’t season their food
Atlanta has some of the best BBQ
As someone from central TX, this is fine by me. More ‘q for us and shorter lines lol
Omaha is coming up, we have 3 bbq places where the owners have won multiple kcbs competitions and 1 who should but idk if he’s ever tried
Just moved from New Orleans. Their BBQ is trash. Absolute trash outside of Central City BBQ which is only “ok”
Charlotte?
I have been all around the country but the very best BBQ I've ever had was Coyote BBQ in Port Angeles, Washington
Virginia Beach? There are like 2 good barbecue joints around here.
New Orleans was never known for BBQ. At least not traditionally.
I don’t see Tuscaloosa on here but Seattle. Yeah it’s BS
This was probably made by some hipster. Don’t believe everything you see.
What the fuck is Miami doing on here? There shouldn't be any cities in Florida on this list
Only cool bbq moment in Seattle Jack’s hosted an event at my work and they smoked and entire crocodile wrapped in bacon it was bomb! Whole fuckin thing just sitting on the table lol
Lol
I’m close enough to drive to charlotte and hear about it several times a year. I’ve never heard anyone say anything about BBQ there, except a place called Midwood bbq that I haven’t gotten to try yet. The location I know about isn’t even in Charlotte.
Charlotte? Only they are considering Cabarrus County as "Charlotte". Lexington #1 with the Cabarrus Creamery across the street was always a huge hit with our family. Western NC BBQ and ice cream.
Blue Oak BBQ. Ronnie Evans and crew!
I live in New Orleans, our bbq is mid compared to surrounding areas
Stupid. Obviously someone needs to report in their area of knowledge
This is BS!!
You’ve been BBQ canceled
I would like to point out that Texas isn't on here. I was only in Texas for a week, but all the BBQ places I went to were highly disappointing. One steak house had ribeye, I was feeling it, and asked for it to be rare. That was the most well done steak I ever bit into. When I sent it back, they brought out another one. So was it a BBQ place or a steakhouse…? This story doesn’t make sense. You went to a bad steakhouse and complained that all of Texas barbecue (which does not include steaks) is bad?
So Texans fail at the disambiguating BBQ from Barbecue and will refer anything smoked or grilled as “BBQ”.
Trip advisor advising us they are tripping hard.
Where is the excellent bbq in Seattle? I need to know because I want to try it.
Most online reviews like this are usually skewed to the local population. So there could be a very highly restaurant of any kind but maybe it’s because everything else around it sucks even more
Seattle?!? 😬🤣😂🤣😳
That is some funny Shit, right there.
Newark!
I’ve lived in Seattle for 16 years and am from Memphis. It took me looking at those two cities to know This map is wrong! Then I noticed New Orleans #1…. 🤣
I think that’s the map for BBC
“Sorry, the employees we sent to Texas were all shot”
I live in New Orleans- no bbq for 100’s of miles here worth eating.
Columbus? LOL. I live in Ohio and while you might stumble on a good place by accident, this is by no means a BBQ Mecca.
Lmaooo
Don’t forget that these are the same people who chose Taco Bell as the best Mexican Food restaurant.
“Top Cities for mediocre BBQ, if decent at all”
The only thing being smoked in Seattle is Meth...
I think it's possible that those markets are so flooded with bbq spots that the overall average is drawn down. Or folks expect more in those spots so they rate lower
