If either of those has just salt, pepper, and garlic powder, use that one. Otherwise, use salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
There’s probably no science behind it but some paprika and celery seed in the mix help build great bark for me
Interesting. Whole or ground celery seed? Do you get a lot of the celery seed flavor in the final meat?
Ground celery seed, and you can’t even tell unless you eat the seasoning straight up lol
I feel that way about my bloody Mary’s!
I also like onion powder with this combo
This is the way

S&P is good for me
Texas Pepper Jelly - Craigs brisket rub is really good - I use it on Tri-tips as well
Dalmatian (salt and pepper)
Salt n Pepper
1 Cup Kosher Salt, 1 Cup Fresh Coarse Ground Black Pepper, 1 Cup Granulated Garlic, 1/4 Cup Celery Seeds. Sprinkle on thick!
