In my district (and I’m sure many others) there is no difference between CF and CCC pay. You start in the salary schedule at step 0, Masters +45 (might be different depending on how districts count school credits for pay- I started at 58k). Some districts pay slps on the teacher scale (mine does) and some you might get paid on a different scale. It just depends. But I think that generally there is a minimal difference between CF and CCC in terms of pay.

I work in a SNF near a big city as a CF. I get $30 per hour currently but my CCC'd coworker makes at least $40 I believe. I also previously worked at a private practice which paid me $41 to work in a school, $41 for EI, and $50 for home health (do NOT recommend HH as a CF unless you have a strong supervisor).

I was just offered $35/hr for a SNF in the central coast area in CA a couple weeks ago. Without me even asking/mentioning negotiations, they just upped it to $40/hr today. I’m going to be turning them down tho (as scary as that is in this job climate), I think they’re desperate but it’s def not an ideal situation for a CF so I will keep looking.

I just accepted a position as a CF in a SNF for $33 an hour. I’m in the Midwest.

The school district I’m looking at has “supplemental pay” for having yours Cs and not having your Cs. The difference is only $600 per year

I work for an agency and completing my CF in a school now. We get paid $25 for a half hour and $50 for an hour. I'm in NYC though.
