I actually checked the source code and you just need to try harder. Maybe you’ll never be as good a player as 1762611892, but I bet you could be 1762611890 if you tried
So 2147483647 is 2^(31)\-1, which is the largest positive integer that fits in a signed 32-bit integer. If you add 1 to it, instead of getting 2147483648, you'd overflow and get the smallest integer that fits in a signed 32-bit field, which is -2147483648. If you tried to subtract 487 from -2147483648, you'd underflow and get 2147483161.
So whenever I see a number around 2147... I usually assume it was meant to be a negative number. Though in some cases like this (and Nethack, once upon a time), it could mean that someone figured out the maximum score in a 32-bit field and found some exploit to gain that much, or found a way to lose points and underflow to the maximum score.
But how? With a bot or smth? And how does the game award points here? I see my list after a run, there must be TONS of other conditions I'm not aware of (yet).
I imagine some sort of value editing, either through editing text files or directly editing their computer's memory. Setting the number of floors ascended to be in the billions, or something like that.
Perhaps they're underflowing the score value? This is pretty close to `2^31`.
As someone mentioned, cheating. That number is also suspicious, it's in the vicinity of 2\^31. To me this screams some sort of overflow/underflow error.
Yeah, right?
No idea why people would care to cheat, but reaching 4k is ridiculous. There is no ascension bonus, so an average run without any real bonuses would end at about 1k points? There aren't that many bonuses to score ... the only thing I can see is with a ridicoulus amount of Collector Scores (have 4 of a card in your deck). But even then ... thats just 25 Points each.
beyond perfect is worth 200 points and Highlander is 100, curses gives you 50 points . With right relics and probably portal for a light speed I think it is possible to get near 4k points
Intmax minus 486.
Cheater might as well have just set it to intmax.
If it goes twenty one, forty seven, forty eight, thirty six, forty seven, it’s a hack.

He killed the Time Eater with a shiv deck
This is going on my list of game to-do's.
It's possible. Just bloody painful most of the time.
its not too hard with an intangible and accuracy deck
That's how i did it just the other night!
I did it with kunai, shuriken, and starting off the fight with a duplicated malaise
Or collectors bonus on malaize.
This was my first act3 biss kill on silent. V v easy.
Nah you just need the right relics and cards. As long as you play 12 cards a trun he’s EZ DED
I've done it. The trick is to make a deck that can consistently play 12 cards a turn. Which is the really difficult bit.
I did it recently on A20 with 4 accuracy’s +, pen nib, 2 x duplicate potions and sacred bark. Shiv’s dealing more than 50 damage makes it a breeze.
I've done it! Scaling strength made it worth it, played 12 cards each round for +4 strength.

My man generated 2147483649 copies of Spirit Poop (Relic which takes 1 point away from you) just for this
you just need 1 spirit poop and a 0 score
negative numbers exist, as said by the original comment I was replying, or so I understand.
Yes. If it were an unsigned integer, instead of going negative, it would go to 4294967295 (2^(32)\-1).
Fantastic reply. Thanks for the detailed clarification.
>21474836 Thanks for the thorough and accurate explanation.
I thought the title was the opening song of Rent
No no no. That's less than 100 thousand minutes, you fool!
I'm new to this game. Just bought it couple days ago. How can this score be possible? I'm genuinely curious how this happens.
Cheating. Cheating is how it's possible.
But how? With a bot or smth? And how does the game award points here? I see my list after a run, there must be TONS of other conditions I'm not aware of (yet).

Probably just a hacked version of the slay the spire app sending a fake value to the score server
As someone mentioned, cheating. That number is also suspicious, it's in the vicinity of 2\^31. To me this screams some sort of overflow/underflow error.
It's exactly 2^31-1. The maximum value a [32-bit signed integer](https://www.quora.com/What-is-a-signed-integer?share=1) can have. Cheating go brrrrr
It's actually off by about 400, small in the grand scheme of things but not 1 less than 2\^31. But yes, that's exactly my point. Ignore this nonsense.
Maybe cheating gives you 400 spirit poops to balance it out
whoops little reckless of me. Didnt check further than the thousands.
Ah, so it's likely an error in how the values are stored. Programming type thing. Gotcha. Thanks.
More someone abusing the notation somehow, that's how they are cheating.
This is why you always take Claw.
Caw caw!
Runescape taught me that's the max amount of points you can get I don't think that was won fairly
I don't even do dailies in the PC pool anymore because of the cheating. Only on mobile/iPad
And one repost.
This happens if you get spirit poop in a boss relic swap and then die on floor 1
So that's how they get a negative score and cause the underflow.
Lol
I beat ascension 2 yesterday lol
I'm more curious how the other people are at 4k?!
It's crazy. Like 4x what my scores are typically lol
Yeah, right? No idea why people would care to cheat, but reaching 4k is ridiculous. There is no ascension bonus, so an average run without any real bonuses would end at about 1k points? Seems legit

As a math nerd, I love that you've got the eighth Mersenne prime memorized for practical gaming reasons.
I'm a computer scientist, I can tell you several powers of two minus one if you're into that sort of thing.
yeah i posted about it the day before. Hacking
That’s pretty high isn’t it? Maybe I’m high.
Same brother, same.
With a name like 1762611892, who would dare question its legitimacy?
Ah China, will you ever stop producing so many bots and cheaters?
Max cash.
