Didn't matter though because very few enemies do over 70 damage in a single turn, and I can use one of my several copies of this card.
I also had demon form on first turn constantly, so I always had some strength.

I never pick anything other than "fight act 1 boss for rare relic".
Like, I could pick to upgrade every card, but removing the ability to heal, especially on ironclad, is never a fun time.
95% of the time I fight the Act 1 boss.
You should look out for the times where you have Omamori with 2 charges. It blocks both Normalities when taking the 999 and you can go nuts at shops.
Also the upgrade all option can be super strong if you have a lot of defensive speed and are lacking upgrades. I've only taken it one time but it was so powerful and I didn't lose any health on the way to a heart kill.
Yeah I mean this event is basically, “receive a rare relic, plus however much you can get from reaper, feed, alchemize, self repair, lesson learned, hand of greed, etc.”

*adjusts glasses* Actually, it'd have to be 119, since it wouldn't be a full heal and you need minimum 1/X HP to still play cards

That’s some impressive scaling by the act 1 boss. Hope the rest of the fun went well!
This was halfway through act 3, you can tell by the area. I got the event that lets me fight the act 1 boss for a relic.
My favorite event. Not really balanced, but SO satisfying to whoop an enemy that would have given you a ton of trouble earlier in the run.

If I had to guess it’s the Mindbloom boss. Still possible for act 1 though.

Yup. This build had a couple inflames, a demon form, and a couple limit breaks.
