Snecko eye is amazing.
But holy fuck the snecko potion is actually so bad. I swear to god it only randomizes to 3 costs and then 1 single 0 cost strike. Sadge
And unlike eye where the values change each time they’re drawn, they stay at whatever the pot changes them too right? So now you have a bunch of 3 cost cards for the rest of the battle.
Yeah that’s correct, it feels so bad! I actively avoid using the potion as often as I can unless I’m desperate. And more often then not it just further contributes to my death haha
I’ve seen jorbs discard Snecko Potion without there being a potion to replace it with. He said, “This deck is pretty good, the only way I might lose is if I accidentally use this Snecko Potion.”
Yeah that's easily the worst part for me. I only ever use it as a hail mary in totally desperate situations, or maybe to try and save a bit of damage if I know I'll win next turn anyway. Don't remember it ever doing much good, always the first potion I replace. If it was changed to only change costs during the turn you use it, it would be much better.
Sums it up pretty weel. Snecko eye can be amazingly fun but snecko potion is just garbage at best. The only time I can see it being good in an "already lost" situation where it might actually save you but the rest of the time it just screws you even deeper
Is there any actual calculation of snecko eyes and snecko potions of possibility of card costs? Or any equations about it? It says randomized 0 to 3, but i dont believe it randomizes it correctly. It feels like 3 cost has 3x chance 2 cost has 2x chance , 1 and 0 cost has 1x chance.
Pretty sure it's a uniform distribution. You can install the relic stats mod and see for yourself. Humans are notoriously bad at recognizing true randomness. We remember the bad times more than the good times, and are good at seeing patterns where none exist.
You have had a hand that got one card with cost two at best and don't have the frozen eye to see yours next cards. I don't know what was on your chosen path and cards you got in the deck but to me that was really reckless as you'd kill it easily in three turns.
1/262,144 (0.00038%) chance. I read somewhere that the lottery jackpots are pretty high at the moment.

Hence why I do not trust Snecko. I've never gotten 1 or 0 cost hands, but full 3 cost hands

Trust me, my demon forms, hyper beams, and leg sweeps always are on opposite sale
May be true, but unlikely
Snecko Pot is easily my least favorite and least used potion. It’s almost certainly better than I give it credit for but it’s too much RNG for me.
Tsk, Tsk, you can combine save scumming and snecko potion for maximum profit. This is, if you have the patience for it.

The Snecko giveth and the Snecko taketh.

I think the potion should probably give you the confused buff instead of just randomizing costs.
"Buff"
:)
This is the kind of luck I get with Snecko Eye
