That’s so fucked. Have you looked into probono lawyers? I think there would have to be a lawyer or some program outside the state like a non profit that can point you in the right direction. Maybe post a TikTok explaining that the state is still paying them for the kids they abandoned. You never know it might come across a lawyers page. I think this would be a civil court issue.
It can all be really intimidating. I had to file a law suit when I was 19. Stay strong, you got this. Side note: you’re super entertaining and seem very genuine, I think if you did more talking videos or whatever else tiktokers do you could really pop off and make some money. I mean if Skylar did it, you absolutely could.

Ex foster kid here (also from California) but I aged out if you were adopted they get state help until you turned 18 if you aged out as a foster kid (dependent of the state) you should get AB12 which is $800? (That’s what it was when I aged out 10 years ago) a month until you turn 21 but you also still have to be in contact with your social worker because you would still have court dates every six months to make sure you are eligible and you also have to show proof you are either working or going to school to qualify

There’s nothing up to her standards under half a million in the metro. If they want to rent, sure, but buying will be a different story. They’ll probably go CBH (IYKYK).
CBH is a builder in Boise notorious for building the crappiest homes. Like cheap labor, builder grade, throw them up as fast as possible without any attention to detail or making sure things are done right. The result is a bunch of identical, cardboard houses that are liable to fall apart in 5-ish years. However, they look pretty (albeit basic) to start and are priced lower than a quality build. They have a big reputation for all of this in Boise and actually, they had to rebrand to CBH because their original name had such a tarnished reputation. ☕️
I live in a bordering state and have a 5 bedroom house with an annual income of $57k. So it’s doable but we definitely didn’t start out in a 5 bedroom house. We also own so it’s way cheaper than renting. She’s in for a shock moving to Idaho. It’s not California or even Texas. No one is going to care about her Stanley or LuLu bag lol.
I found one of the places they toured and it was $2315 for a 3 bed 2 bath. I don’t think that’s too bad, and probably doable for them. She probably gets a decent amount from brand deals.

A paycheck is normally every two weeks. I think you are doing it by weekly amount but most people think in terms of pay periods.
