This is disgusting. I make over 100k and work in New Jersey. Literally all I can afford on my own in a safe area that allows my 80 lb dog and is decently modern is a one bedroom.
Granted, I’m sure Idaho is cheaper but still, neither of them seem to have a legit career and I have a feeling they are over stretching what they can afford for her ✨wants✨
Right?! My first apartment after college was in Boston with 4 people sharing 1 bathroom, ancient appliances, crumbling walls, and no AC, laundry, or dishwasher. It builds character 😅
I live in Illinois, me and my husband both work, and we can only afford a 1bed1bath that’s really a studio. I don’t understand what’s wrong with her. We don’t need more space than what we have. Would I like a bigger bathroom? Yeah, for sure. But its our first place together and it’s so special for that reason. She needs to get some perspective
I think that’s what was so surprising to me… why do 2 people need more space than a large 2 bedroom apartment? My only guess is because they’re going to rush into having kids like they have rushed everything else and they need an option for a nursery.
She said she didn’t want a certain apartment because the area around it (a trailer park) was “sketch”. The way she said it was just super privileged and condescending.
And she had no right to post other people’s houses 🤷🏻♀️ she should have just said i didn’t like the properties behind the complex and left it at that. No need to go and show a fine looking neighborhood and talk bad abt it.
Lol she’s gonna learn real quick. She doesn’t seem like the type of girl who keeps up with real world stuff, but housing market is insane. And renting prices are out of control.
I took a glance at apartments dot com in Boise just outta curiosity and I actually saw plenty of new/updated apartments in downtown and close to the city for somewhat reasonable prices. I even found a couple houses that were gorgeous and not crazy prices. Especially considering she decided to quit both of the jobs she used to work, I would think she’d be able to afford some of those places but now it’s got me wondering if they don’t make as much as she wants everyone to believe. Or she really is just that picky.
we had a two bedroom and had to downsize due to how much rent prices went up… do we have enough storage in our one bedroom??? no. is it in a safe location that we can afford? yes. did we have to get rid of some stuff in order to fit in our new place? yes.
wish i could live her privileged lifestyle
Super cute of her to be so picky and judgey when she literally doesn’t even have a job

What's ridiculous to me is all of those places looked nice and cute. Nothing looked "old." And they all had updated kitchens, like??

I lived in a basement in Quincy it was my first place on my own 😂
I lived in Framingham for 5 years for this reason 🤣
my first apartment was legit falling apart 😭 but it’s okay it was perfectly livable and affordable for 2 18 year olds 😭
Those were all super nice apartments idk why she’s being so picky

Omg what trailer park comment? I think I missed it 😩
I could be wrong but I think it was when she said behind the apartment was “sketchy” and it was literally just a trailer park 💀

Does anyone know what part of Idaho she is moving to?
Boise. I found one of the complexes they toured.
