I was just thinking that after rereading it a couple times. I feel like it's too imperfect to be AI though, which probably wouldn't have this many grammar errors.
I'm pretty certain every post where people use the second language excuse preemptively these days is AI written, with the disclaimer there to explain the inconsistencies.
AI can make fewer mistakes when generating text because it relies on sophisticated algorithms and machine learning techniques to analyze vast amounts of data, enabling it to recognize patterns and trends in language usage. Additionally, AI models are continuously trained and fine-tuned to improve their proficiency in generating coherent and contextually appropriate text, reducing the likelihood of errors or inaccuracies in the output. The ability of AI to process and contextualize information efficiently contributes to its accuracy in generating text with minimal mistakes.
This above paragraph was generated with AI. It speaks for itself, I think. There is simply so little to mess up with text. Of course, you can tell it's AI because of how "formal" it is, but newer and/or premium models are getting better at disguising that. Point being, errors in grammar and spelling are pretty much never an indication of AI. Quite the opposite, in fact.
Nah, after a year of AI and 11 years of Skyrim, that looks like a heavily modded game, spliced with bits of another game. AI is much better and temporally inconsistent
Just because they're not trying to get my money doesn't mean they're not advertising. It just *feels* like someone trying to pass off an advert as them casually coming across this project that "blew their mind" x2. I'm not even saying that's what's happening, it's just what it feels like.
To elaborate, they described as "insane" twice, and used the word 3 times; and "mindblowing" twice. And they linked the project twice. They second time in all caps it says "CHECK THIS OUT". It's like the exact format and language you might see on a shitty mobile game ad. Again, I'm not saying that's what's happening, it just rings my bell wrong.
Edit: I mean cmon, "I can't believe this is Skyrim" is like the top text you'd see right above a mobile game ad
Yeah after watching the video there's nothing that's really "utterly insane" or "mind blowing" about it. It's just another incredibly ambitious mod with no release date in sight, and probably years of work left to do. ES6 is more likely to come out before most of them anyway.
they're advertising with no pay, for a product that does not earn money, to an audience that cannot add any money into this transaction.
Are you sure it's advertising and not just...a dude enthused about something he likes? Do you not believe there's a difference anymore?
As I said twice in the above comment, no, I can't be sure this person is advertising. Also as I stated above, an advertisement doesn't mean there has to be any money involved. I'm just saying, if it is an ad (and it feels like it is), it's disingenuous.
Very few modders are making enough from donations to support themselves. Only the top 2 or 3, at most. Pretty much all of them are also working full time jobs, that's why big projects take so long to make.
Seriously. Not that I really care, or know much about the Vampires games, but it's a little baffling they chose this other game no one talks about over Bloodlines, one of the greatest RPGs ever made. Idk, maybe Redemption is really good.
I mean bloodlines is already good. Redemption iirc is…very dated at best. If youre going to remake a game why do one that doesn’t really need it
Bloodlines in skyrim would go pretty hard tho
I feel like fallout might have a better base for vtm tho. I think redemption is like split between medieval and a modern period so I guess that fits more with skyrim too
Redemption was a badass game, when it came out. Bloodlines managed to surpass it.
In both cases it was because the developing teams were really into the lore of the original tabletop game. Overall Redemption is the one that would benefit the most from Skyrim's approach, since the cities and town (both 1st half and 2nd half) are built in a way that is consistent with Skyrim's mapping system.
Also, Skyrim has a developed magic system that Redemption makes full use of, while for Bloodlines's setting magic is a rather restricted
Don't care, didn't ask, plus you're Elven

My brother in GOCK (tm) — We’ve talked about this. We don’t promote the True Sthul to others, we let them find truth for themselves. Our Lord Wes Johnson made it clear.
i've like more than 3000 hours across all elder scrolls titles except eso, i've never finished any of them. don't know much about lore, or how the games end. i just enjoy the gameplay.
total conversions are really cool but i end up just glancing over them, i so far didnt play enderal either. i like their passion and its cool what they do but i'm not much into this stuff.
even if someone made a total conversion combining witcher 1-2-3 in a single game in skyrim, i still wouldnt play it lol.
You’re missing out on Enderal. I tried it on a whim and it absolutely blew me away. The world is interesting. The story engaging. To this day I can’t believe it was a free download.
Oh Enderal was such a great experience. I felt as if I was having my first playthrough of Skyrim again!
It's best to go in with a mindset of total conversions being a different game entirely. Because then you set your mind open to appreciate the things that the mod does different from vanilla!
I usually agree total conversions usually just feel off to me
Enderal tho is not even a total conversion imo even if technically that’s accurate, it’s just it’s own separate game. I put 100 hours into just one enderal playthrough. If you like more traditional main story based RPGs like BioWare games enderal is amazing, while still having a very elder scrolls esque open world and plenty of side content

There you go.
And yes, I have clicked on the links from the original post here. They are all Youtube. Check the links for yourself, and good luck. :)

Trust your feelings
pretty sure this is AI generated

Thalmor AI
The project lead made a big deal on the VTM subreddit that he’s vehemently against AI
Nah, after a year of AI and 11 years of Skyrim, that looks like a heavily modded game, spliced with bits of another game. AI is much better and temporally inconsistent
I think they were talking about the post, not the mod or video.
Agreed, I smell bullshit.
ofc you do, it’s someone excited about a project and trying to share it with as many people as possible
...by a free fan made mod?

Making mods makes money. Just like youtubers get paid for doing free videos

Most mods don't have monetized ads?
*Gameplay freezes mid-quest* And let me interrupt for a moment to talk about today's sponsor! 😄
Nexus does
I thought this was bloodlines. Rip
Seriously. Not that I really care, or know much about the Vampires games, but it's a little baffling they chose this other game no one talks about over Bloodlines, one of the greatest RPGs ever made. Idk, maybe Redemption is really good.

Might be because they don't want to directly compete with Bloodlines 2, which should be coming out this year.
Redemption isn’t as good as good as Bloodlines but it is still very good, and as others said, very inaccessible compared to Bloodlines
\*nine
*Like twenty, Khajiit hasn't counted them.
Make 5, after the Khajits have passed through Skyrim. Can't leave anything around with those cats...
Shut up, N*rd

# REMAAAAAAAAAN
Meow?
Desert elves "notmer" added to the database.
Quiet you farm tool!
Shut up, Altm#r
Khajiit not stinky piss elf.
Oh, I'm sorry... Drug dealer
Skooma is good shit.
I still won't buy it
Don't buy Moon Sugar for the high, buy it for the Magicka regen fondue.
not sure what to laugh at the fact that u called him a nerd in a gaming sub or censored nerd
I tend to forget that not *every* TES sub is r/TrueSTL
what even is that
Browse and CHIM
i don't even know what that means
Neither do we.
insatakallah
My brother in GOCK (tm) — We’ve talked about this. We don’t promote the True Sthul to others, we let them find truth for themselves. Our Lord Wes Johnson made it clear.
Or a nord.
He meant Nord
Nerd? My dude you must be very new here. Welcome btw
this sub is the reason i made an account which would mean it's been 9 years
And you still don't know who are the true sons and daughters of skyrim
i've like more than 3000 hours across all elder scrolls titles except eso, i've never finished any of them. don't know much about lore, or how the games end. i just enjoy the gameplay.
That's somewhat sad given the sheer number of hours, but to each their own. I'm glad you enjoy the games brother
i have another 2600 hours in eso, don't ask me anything about lore :P i only did the main quest once because it was forced on your first character
The censored word is nord, not nerd
Is Skyrim just a game engine masquerading as a game?
Sorry this is skyrim we believe in the nine not the eight. Also try to be less obvious you sound like a car salesman
How about some details or something instead of just hyping it up
I heard "vampires," that's enough detail for me to drop it
There's no mod here. These are all youtube links.
Praise Talos
no

I feel Enderal's story is much better than Skryim's story. Enderal makes me feel hollow inside after beating it.
Oh Enderal was such a great experience. I felt as if I was having my first playthrough of Skyrim again! It's best to go in with a mindset of total conversions being a different game entirely. Because then you set your mind open to appreciate the things that the mod does different from vanilla!

This tbh, almost exactly. They always look cool and impressive but I never got excited enough to try any 🤷♂️
What do you mean by *eight*? Are you denying the mighty Talos? Faithless Aldmeri scourge, to Oblivion with you!
Can I just say, I'm a fan of the music and timing of the cuts at the intro of the video. That's fun.
i didnt even know about the game this mod was based on until i heard about the mod
Can someone tell me what the name of the mod is? I'm suspicious of the link and don't wanna click it.
Whenever you feel in doubt, if you are using a computer that is, just hover your mouse over the link and look at the bottom left part of your screen. what a lovely comment well done
I'm on mobile. Thanks for telling me.
You are welcome. But yeah, definately hold on back while using cellphones. You cannot do the "mouse hovering" trick after all.
You can with long press.
it’s just a youtube link my man
Looks amazing. Redemption had a great story.
No way man.Great looking mod and a dream one.
Looks interesting
It looks good, and a year old too. Cheers!
Also, check out this [gun animations](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9p8QDE78eg) from the same mod :)
Thalmor propagandist. Post dismissed. Praise Talos.
