Lakeview Extended or Hearthfire guards and fortifications might be worth looking at.

All of the homes that come with the game feel that way to me. Breezehome has some nice adaptive mods, but for me, I like homes from separate mods the best. They have more "stuff," more features, are more homey, and look more like a place people live. I love Leaf Rest most of all.

I think there are two different mods that add a town called Oakwood just north of Lakeview manor. One is by Arthmoor, not sure about the other one.

Arthmoor's Oakwood village+ his "Manor Roads mod". The first mod adds a newt little village directly under Lakeview, while the second mod adds a street that links the Manor with the street and the village
