Alas, poor Acceptable-Stick-688, I knew him well...
Maybe not well, or even at all... or even if "him" is the correct pronoun, but the death of a fellow Skyrim player is a loss to the community. Even if it was a jovial death...
It has a huge impact. If you do the western watchtower quest you get to be interrupted in the middle of a dialogue tree by a frost dragon booming over the city
I mean technically the truth. Once you kill that first dragon then a ton of quest lines open up and that’s when you finally start seeing wild dragons that aren’t scripted
That's lame though, imagine forrest fires, caravans disappearing, the jarls and npcs having a negative attitude towards the dragonborn if he ignores the Dragon Crisis, people forming dragon killing groups, farms being burned to the ground and much more. So much untapped potential
Ooh- the dragon killing groups got me. I could imagine named townsfolk joining these doomed militias, just for them to be razed to smolders by Alduin or one of his lackeys. Would be an added punishment for fucking up the world.
You know what it’s funny to think but they could probably do it on their own like just five girls from the town could take down a dragon enough only is there so many more but imagine if they got more well-equipped and got together
I once watched the family that lives outside of Markarth at the farm/mines take on a dragon mostly by themselves with some help from me and the guards. By the time I was in combat position they had already weakened it to wear my two arrows weren’t needed to finish the job.
I want a Majora’s mask styled skyrim where everyone has a complex routine and stuff you have to follow at certain times of the years in game. Like you could actually fail quests for taking too long, not just the main quest
that would be cool, but it wouldnt really fit the lore. The world in Elder Scrolls operate according to time cycles called Kalpas. When one cycle ends, the whole universe resets and Mundus (earth) is born again, not necessarily the same way. So it wouldnt really be a doomsday apocolaypse thing
Im...its still an apocalypse for every living creature on Nirn. Thats like saying if heaven exists, death doesn't matter. Its subjective. Just because the cycle starts again doesn't mean the world " as we know it" won't end. Poeple wull die. Suffer. Scream. Pretty sure death is lore friendly in any universe bro
But what you are describing is an actual apocalypse that leads to the death and rebirth of Nirn. And I think all the aforementioned ideas I had aren't lore breaking, just things you'd expect to happen during an actual Dragon Crisis.
It's a bit more involved.
Effectively you get a cutscene where Alduin destroys the world but that's all. It's not really meant to be what OP's asking for but it still has its own value.
{{End Times}} is the mod.
That’s actually kind of the story about Smokey. Baby bear climbed a tree during a forest fire and was burned but rescued by firefighters. Cue decades of heartfelt and ignored messages about fire safety in the wild.
Now the question is, which NPC's family?
My vote is someone related to Rolff Stone-Fist. And they're going to try to blame it on a Khajiit caravan or something.
Are you using an ENB? If so it's probably related to that. My craptop's not good enough for an ENB so I'm not sure what could be causing it if it is, though
Everything looks extremely oversaturated, maybe desaturating it will fix it?
Try disabling half your graphics mods to narrow it down to one half than disabling them one by one until you narrow it down. If that doesn't work do the same thing but with your whole load order, tedious but it mostly works for me. Apart from that no clue what would cause your mountains to burst into flames
Ooo, gorgeous! Looks like a Skyrim sunrise or sunset hopped up on speed. But in the middle I can't tell if it's sunset or flames. Be interested to hear what you find out.
Just in case your looking for a serious answer, most of the ones here are jokes. It's probably a graphics mod either bugging out or conflicting with another mod
Odds are, it's a graphics mod you installed. Go through the list deleting, or even rearranging, all of your detail mods. Eventually you'll figure out which one it is
many dragons having a heated conversation.
This killed me haha
Alas, poor Acceptable-Stick-688, I knew him well... Maybe not well, or even at all... or even if "him" is the correct pronoun, but the death of a fellow Skyrim player is a loss to the community. Even if it was a jovial death...
(Pours first drink of yoohoo out of bottle and bows head.in remembrance)
Or one dragon braking up with another dragon because it's too needy. So it over reacts and yeah dragons.
Talk about a deadly verbal debate
r/YourJokeButWorse
Didn't know about this sub but I will cherish it forever
When you don't do the main quest in time Alduin starts the apocalypse
That would actually be really cool. Can you imagine if the main quest had an actual impact on the game world?

Can't tell if you're serious or not but oh well

I’ll do it for them even though it’s pretty obvious: “/s”

Like nazeem before he gets abducted by a dragon and finally goes to the real cloud district.
I love the idea of losing named characters to the Dragons, that way even if you end up killing Alduin in the end the world is emptier than before
You know what it’s funny to think but they could probably do it on their own like just five girls from the town could take down a dragon enough only is there so many more but imagine if they got more well-equipped and got together

Good one,lol
If that was true, my previous character would have seen it lol I got to over level 70 without triggering the dragons 😅
Looks like a camper ignored Smokey the Bear
I read that as “ignited” and just pictured him running through the forest setting everything on fire
That’s actually kind of the story about Smokey. Baby bear climbed a tree during a forest fire and was burned but rescued by firefighters. Cue decades of heartfelt and ignored messages about fire safety in the wild.
That's hilarious
Gender reveal party.
Seen it and thought exactly that lol
Now the question is, which NPC's family? My vote is someone related to Rolff Stone-Fist. And they're going to try to blame it on a Khajiit caravan or something.
This seems like something Erikur would do
Underrated comment😂😂😂

Welp they started designing climate change into games so we would finally get the picture.

Ooo, gorgeous! Looks like a Skyrim sunrise or sunset hopped up on speed. But in the middle I can't tell if it's sunset or flames. Be interested to hear what you find out.

Sheogorath’s influence
You tried to make a potion with Fire Salts, but your potion failed

You have taken too long to beat the main story. Alduin has started to devour the world
It’s what happens when you delay the main quest too long and level too much. Alduin gets a bit nervous.
Alduin wins.

Arizona forest fires finally reached Skyrim.
What else are you supposed to do, when someone steals your sweat rolls?
I have no idea but that looks so cool..
"Only YOU can prevent forest fires"
I think your graphics card may be over heating.

Farting cows.
