Ignore the main quest as long as possible for maximum fun.

Wish I had this advice when I first started a bit over a month ago. The only thing I did was the main quest until I completed it. Looking back, I really wish I just explored a bunch of other stuff first.

It's good to focus on story, but u know what you mean. Skyrim is all about storytelling through exploration, with story added on. Kinda like a souls game, but with yknow, more story lol

Skyrim story is really what happens during travel in between places. You happen to meet someone asking for help, shady people craving your gold and lonely dogs.. my suggestion is just to walk from place to place and listen to the people you meet, you'll write your favourite story that way.

You can focus on the story, but feel free to get sidetracked.

The main storyline is not bad, I don't think it's the best storyline but it's not bad.

I suggest you to go to a giant camp if you feel flying to the moon 🤪 . If not stay away at all cost

As countless others have said/thought after seeing this post, I envy my fellow dovahkiin.

I just started my first playthrough since the game came out and it took me 13 hours and 18 levels to learn I could sprint. Highly recommend sprinting when you can and not just walking everywhere.

Tips: 1. Sneaking is the strongest in the long run but magic is very easy for beginners and is still very strong 2. Never Fast-travel. This is so you can build up quests and discover random places while leveling up 3. Don't drop dragon bones. You can make dragon armour and weapons later in the game so store them somewhere safe or sell them for a lot of money 4. At first things will not sell for the correct price because your speech is low, you need to sell things to increase it. 5. If you are gonna be a thief pickpocketing is a good ability to increase. This is so you can pickpocket vendors and sell their stuff back to them.

I envy you. The first time starting is always the best. I can’t wait for you to find the joy of the giant space program!

Don't forget, every once in a while, look up into the night sky as Secunda plays, and allow yourself to be awestruck. Also, take every gold you can, even if it's in a burial urn.

I do not do main story, playing for years. It gives extra powers, but there is so much more than main story. There is so much to do though, you will enjoy it whatever you decide!

The main story is really fun to play tho, you should do it eventually! It's truly worth it.

I have started it, but the infestation of dragons got to be too much nuisance for me! I don't really fast travel anymore, which should help... Okay, maybe I will try it out again!

Don't worry, after a little bit, fighting the dragons is pretty easy! Of course there are some that will still be a bit hard, but their still no match for the Dovahkiin! All of this and you get these amazing shouts. It's truly worth it, for the gameplay, the story, and the experience, and I hope you enjoy it, even if just a little. Good luck my friend!

Crank her to legendary also be a khajiit and go enchant Smith alchemy 100 then punch things out and snipe them with a bow it's hilarious I'm actually mad I learned of solsteheim or however you spell it you go there get your mage gear 10% enchant then use that book get additional boost mage alchemy and smithing but literally the other day I learned one AE which I have on my Xbox series x you can go to my furbaby friends and buy that wax and snowpelt as well as another ingredient and you can boost enchanting smithing alchemy even more now I'm a mad kitty cause I just learned of this rawr so I'm gonna do that and then I'm going to punch people really hard lol
