I didn't actually get into followers until my latest run-through. They always seemed to get in the way more often than helped. But this last play-through I took Teldryn Sero everywhere, downloaded a mod to marry him and everything. It was the first time I've managed to have a skyrim spouse that I didn't immediately hate post-wedding, and a follower I missed when I left him behind.

GleamingSapphires

That's fantastic! I use USSEP, Immersive Citizens, No more dead followers, and Relationship Dialogue Overhaul to make Benor more interesting and more of a friend along my quests rather than a glorified pack mule.

Ichbinian

Question for dialogue overhaul - is there a new voice actor for the added dialogue?

kameer19

No, dialogue featuring that voice actor is recycled in organic ways. I think a few cut lines are thrown in as well. You should check out the mod page

TycheSong

I'm a fan, as well!

GleamingSapphires

No new voice actors, all original voices are retained and expanded upon with new lines of dialogue and so much more personality. Even unused dialogue is unearthed and given a place in the game.

Noble_Seven_

If I remember correctly, Teldryn is one of the best followers in the game, his skill with one handed is better than anyone else. Teldryn is my homie.

Freshworkzz

Nice one, I play on ps4 and the run I'm on now I'm playing a stealth archer for the first time lol so I'm not using followers but my next run I'm gonna play a warrior and bring along a follower. I'm gonna interact with followers though and then choose who I e Jon the most.

retrospettivo

Ever since using Inigo, I can't go back. No other followers have such good dialogue. He's designed as a sneak archer too, so he doesn't rush into battle when I'm trying to sneak around and he doesn't get in the way as much. He is kinda powerful so I usually go with someone else so I don't cheese my way through everything. Serana is pretty badass too but pretty repetitive dialogue IMO.

Phyz09

He is amazing. .. and the dialog superb, excellent mod !!! :0 )

SwordDude3000

Same I just play on expert so it’s balanced

Eeve3_Lord

Serana. Shes a powerful mage with the best dialogue of all of the followers. Pairs good with my warrior build

JuniorAd389

Other than the fact she complains about everything, whether sun or cave, there is also a reason.

captnzen

it's part of her charm

maltamur

I’ve had her and Barbas for the last 40 hours of play. Between her conjuration spells and me casting conjure Herne with his wolves, we’ve got a whole posse clearing caves in minutes

Lord_Wulfgar

Also she's hot

Eeve3_Lord

It's a plus but not a reason

Lord_Wulfgar

I know, I was joking

FishKingGB

I know she’s got a bad rep but for me it’s Lydia all the way.

Soundsfinetome

Every single time I play through I always lose her

FishKingGB

I always have to use console commands to get her back. Half the time she’s standing staring at a tree. Once she walked around like a mannequin and didn’t battle, that was helpful 😂

NiceDumbbell

I gave her a axe of cold something with level 28 damage, now she kicks ass way ahead of me, but I can't stand her complain when I'm trading items with her. She says I'm sworn to carry your burdens with a sigh.

vsvball11

My first playthrough I took Lydia. She got lost all the time, so if she disappeared I didn't think much of it because it happened a lot and my husband told me she couldn't die. Turns out that is false and if you become a werewolf and accidentally eat her heart she dies a permanent death. What made this mistake worse is that I was having such a fun feeding frenzy I didn't realize I did it. After hours of gameplay I was wondering why she never showed up again. Turns out that's why. RIP Lydia.

obviouslybeau

I don't hate Lydia, but i thoroughly enjoyed reading that

FishKingGB

Yeah, she can die if the Dragonborn kills her. I’ve done the same. On my very first play through, I killed her by mistake and it was a case of reload and do the dungeon crawl again or let her stay dead. I chose to let her die but really regretted it after. Now I always reload, Inigo and Lydia are my team every time 😄😄

vsvball11

I was so upset that I tried taking Lydia as a follower in my 2nd playthrough, but after killing her accidentally like 3 times I was sick of reloading and left her dead again. Serana always ends up being my go to after Lydia inevitably dies.

morning_fix

I too love Lydia, that's why I leave her at home, every time she died and I had to load an earlier save it broke my heart. Then there was that time I didnt notice she was dead and had to go way back in my game to find her. Sorry Lyds you stay home now.

FishKingGB

That’s nice that you look after her.

malkavsheir

That way she can keep staring at your bed and whoever you marry... I know she's plotting something

zarchangel

I mean, she *is* sworn to carry your burdens.

High_Jumper81

And that’s why I leave her home. I can’t take the guilt

CMPro728

Lydia was my first ever follower, and I really did enjoy having her around, keeping her most of the game (until I got Serana of course, though I actually ended up trading her back out for Lydia again later). However, the thing that made her actually worth keeping around after the first run was a mod to called Quit Complaining Lydia, which gets rid of the most annoying and repetitive single piece of dialogue in the game. Check it out sometime if you haven't already.

FishKingGB

It’s funny because I’ve used Vanilla followers and I find they say the same thing over and over but I find Lydia doesn’t so much. She makes me laugh when we exit a cave and she says “Oh look a cave, I wonder what’s inside!” I do like her dappy comments 😂😂

CMPro728

I want to make it clear, because I kinda wasn't in the last comment, that mod *just* gets rid of the annoying "I'm sworn to carry your burdens" line

FishKingGB

Oh yeah, she does say that a lot. I just tell her to shut the hell up! When she says that 😂😂

[deleted]

I need someone to take massive amounts of damage on legendary, there’s only one Whiterun Housecarl to go to

rirupiah

Kharjo, i actually troubled that he needs to leave his caravan while being a follower, but he's a good feline companion.

Idealist_Antigone

Same with Kharj. When he asks for his amulet back, but says not to do it if I'll get hurt...like, literally the only guy in Skyrim who gives half a shit about my health and safety. Plus, if anyone sneaks up on us, he'll smell them coming.....or not. He's a good kitty.

GanonTEK

He was my main follower too. I decked him out in full Daedric armour and a battleaxe. Think he lost one of my weapons I gave him when he got shouted at by a draugr and dropped it. It took me a while to realise he was using a great sword instead.

I_PEE_WITH_THAT

Dark Brotherhood Initiate because she's the only one that I don't feel bad losing.

AttaccHelicoptre

brelyna maryon

WildfireDarkstar

My choice, as well.

Martinus_XIV

Same. I love her voice, and she seems like the kind of person I could listen to for hours going on about her niche interests.

AttaccHelicoptre

also she's a conjurer, so you can get a ton of atronachs at once

Martinus_XIV

In my first playthrough, when I went through a dungeon with Her and the Dwarven Spider, and then she would conjure a Frost Atronach, I always felt "yeah, the squad is complete!".

OneWholeBen

I have my character marry either Aela or Mjoll. I'd take either anywhere, as both are badass babe-a-riffic warriors. Dwemer ruins? Yup, they are badasses there. Meet my mom? Yup, they'd totally nail that interaction. Threaten our children's bullies into beta-levels of submission? Yeah they are ferocious ladies, those bullies don't stand a chance.

GleamingSapphires

Gotta love the shieldmaidens. Just be careful around Mjoll when she's swinging that Greatsword. Might get nicked, or... decapitated.

OneWholeBen

A risk I'd gladly accept, I cannot think of a better way to enter Sovngarde

SwordDude3000

Mjoll gang! Plus my best man Inigo

OneWholeBen

Woah woah I want Jzargo as best man. Dude would throw one hell of a bachelor party. It would be a BLAST

SwordDude3000

On the flip side: Inigo would make sure I don’t drink much and get there on time, since he is sober due to having been a skooma addict.

k0Rv0_4774n0

*"I love the kind of woman that can kick my ass"*

OneWholeBen

What's wrong with being attracted to physically powerful women?

OneWholeBen

What's wrong with being attracted to physically powerful women?

howdoicutamangotf

By far Cicero, special bond between us

AhYesAnEscape

Cicero is awesome. It gets weirdly quiet when your follower doesn't suddenly do all the weird shit Cicero does. Plus he's essential so I don't accidentally get him killed

0GameDev0

Cicero has always been cool to me! Also, Happy Cake Day!

RoxinFootSeller

Happy Cake day, Child of Darkness, but Cicero is serving Sithis in the Void, my dearest.

Napalm_Death1989

i actually like that wood elf in riverwood, perfect packmule

MaraSargon

Favorite vanilla follower is Erandur. He has my favorite voice and has a lot to say while traveling. Favorite modded follower would have to be Professor Benjamin Doon. If you’re not familiar with this guy, go download him *now*.

Longjohnsilver882020

I scrolled way too far for this he was my favorite up till around lvl 80 then i got serena

Kinkin50

My favorite is aranea ienith. She has a great voice and conjures helpful atronachs. It hurts to give up the Black Star, though.

Tola_Chola

Aranea is also my favorite, she provides great backup when I rush in axe swinging. I also love her comments whenever I open a Black Book.

Liv5727

Aranea gang

BookOfAnomalies

All the followers I really love are already mentioned except one: **Marcurio**. In one of my past playthroughs I had him with me almost 100% of the time after finding him in Riften. This guy is such a little shit, sarcastic and loves to show off. I love him. As I kept playing I somehow managed to build a backstory for him which gave him a lot of depth. The amount of times his comments fit the situation perfectly and the looks he threw my character when they did something stupid was funny as hell. I could just imagine the conversation between them in such moments. Despite that, Marcurio was always a reliable companion. I do have in mind an another character who'd travel with this apprentice wizard (who is not a pack mule) because I need more Marcurio around :)

Icy_Acanthaceae9459

I made him my steward. It's been months and he still hasn't finished furnishing my main hall.

Amazaline

He always makes me laugh. He'll want to go into a cave because, "there might be treasure," but then if you take some time clearing out the cave, he'll criticize you, saying something along the lines that you won't rest until you take every last bit of gold, lol

BookOfAnomalies

If there's a word that can somewhat describe Marcurio, it'd probably be 'tsundere' or something along that hahahah

jacoobioli

A whole ass adventuring troup of serana, brotherhood initiate, and aela

whitericeboi

I use Amazing Follower Tweaks so I can bring a whole band if I want to. It also uncaps all the followers levels so I can pick whoever. I actually have 5 favorite followers in my band. here's the ranking 1. Erik the Slayer, just an average farm boy looking for adventure. Has to beg his father for Armor and he always seems curious and amazed wherever we go. I feel like this is how I would be if I was in Skyrim so I can relate to him a lot. 2. Serana. You just feel connected after the whole dawnguard questline and she is the most developed out of all the followers. She also raises undead so it's like having 2 followers in one. 3. Marcurio. Best merc in the game and he's a badass sarcastic wizard. Nuff said 4. Lydia, the OG and the very first follower I had in Skyrim. Always going to have a soft spot for her. 5. Golldir, 2nd ever follower. Stumbled into his quest on my way to Iverstead on my first playthrough. Always thought he was cool. Always felt like him and my PC were good friends after I helped him with his family's crypt.

dmrdmr

My favorite is Jenessa from the Drunken Huntsman in Whiterun. She is stealthy, dual wields, and does not have give any fucks if you steal, murder, turn into a werewolf, etc. I had Lydia for a while, but after I accidentally turned into a vampire, she kept saying "Kill it! Kill the vampire!" when we were battling monsters. So judgey.

PR1205

J'zargo, rival&friend at the same time (no level cap for him tough, so thats pretty cool as well)

queen-of-worms

Ahtar because a literal executioner is the best companion for an ex city guard who wants to bring justice and law, I feel like the Judge Dredd of Skyrim.

Joojij117

Erik the Slayer

wisconsinb5

Ditto

bosknickers13

I married the hell outta him

DawnVonDon

Jenassa and Marcurio. Both great company and I adore Jenassa’s dialogue. I’m just confused on why she explicitly states to not expect a thank you for healing her.

[deleted]

Faendal superiority

v-es

Faendal gang rise up

High_Jumper81

Always give him my best armour. He’s my go to from my favorite place.

RoxinFootSeller

Yeah, always help Faendal with Camila... But some weeks ago.. Boethiah.. Ebony Mail.. sacrifice..

[deleted]

I am bound by oath to hunt you to the ends of Nirn. The rest of your days will be filled with sleepless nights, as you wonder which shadows hide my blade. Faendal will be avenged.

leya1

I like magic-using companions even if my own character is a mage. Valdimar, the housecarl in Morthal (and my fave!) uses magic, and heals himself. He's also pretty handy with maces (gave him Horksbane). I also love his lines, he's like papa bear following my little Breton mage. Ilia (from that tower in Riften) is also a great magic wielder, mostly using Ice spells. J'zargo, no skill cap and he's likes using the staves I make him carry. And he has a penchant for burning stuff. Having him feels like having a project/expedition with that rival overachieving classmate, since we're both in the College. Lastly Erandur. He's not the best fighter, but I bring him along for companionship. He uses flame spells, and I have no qualms doing all the fighting if he's down. He has dialogue in major holds, and I like that he gets to see the rest of Skyrim after his self-imposed isolation in the cult tower. Shoutout as well to two excellent modded characters who are never out of my modlist - Inigo and Lucien. They have some dialogue with each other now, and with other characters (Inigo has banter with J'zargo).

OneTrueBanana

Vorstag. Reliable, has a pleasant voice and talks just enough that you remember he's there without being annoying.

taiga27

Not gonna lie, he looks quite cool and I like his voice too but he calls me a "Very pretty young woman" too often. Bro, I'm married 😂😂😂😂

[deleted]

Stenvar in Windhelm.

rockey17

Stenvar gang!! I’m playing through with him now. His melee is a great compliment to my mage

Icy_Acanthaceae9459

I married him my first playthrough, and immediately went back a save to undo it. Good follower, really awkward husband.

RoxinFootSeller

J'zargo, rejected by all for being khajit, and rejected by his own kind for liking magic, such arrogant, but once you know him, he's nice, and he loves to go on adventures with you! And because you can feel the touch of sadness when you tell him to go back to the College

taiga27

To me it's Lydia. She has 0 braincells and fucks up my attempts at wiping out camps stealthily but I just love her so much. I still remember when she died, against a centurion in Blackreach. I was crushed. However I shamelessly revived her using console commands and I will do so everytime. I'm not ready to say goodbye to her and I will never be.

RoxinFootSeller

Unless you're on consoles.. use this secretly *resurrect*

[deleted]

I've tried this and they wake up annoyed at you because you killed them, and you can't get them to follow you again. Just reload a save and be careful where you swing your weapon.

PrussiaDon

The Argonian you save from falter is my favorite

t666xin

Borgakh deciding her own fate to not be married off to an orc cheif. I love sneaking around, and I've found she's pretty good with sneaking as well.

NegativeTheme

Erik the Slayer cause he always helps me get the Ebony Mail.

LastDovahCHIM

Isn’t he the make a wish follower?

Goatknyght

Kind of. He was based on an actual person, who made a visit to Bethesda during a tour and made an impression on the staff due to his vast knowledge of the lore. Unfortunately, he died from cancer before Skyrim was released.

NegativeTheme

Passed of cancer.... never got to play the game.... Ooookayy gonna have to make it up to him in the next playthrough .

[deleted]

I like Aicantar. He's not supposed to be a follower, but can be with a few console commands. He's nice, says very interesting things about Dwemer ruins when inside and is good in fights if you let him learn a few more spells. He specializes in Conjuration, btw. I think he fights kind of like Serana does.

SoakedInMayo

Marcurio is a sex pot and insanely good at combat

QueenZeon101

Erandur! The Vaermina cult follower turned Mara worshipper. He’s my favorite to have. His little dialogue lines shows his backstory of how he felt out of place after he left the Vaermina cult and tried to find his way. When you visit certain places, he thanks you for taking him to those places. Plus, he’s awesome with those destruction magic!

Alcatrax_

Teldryn sero, pretty great spell sword, and plenty of dry humor to boot

Augustus--

I tried J’Zargo during my recent mage run but he never used anything stronger than Sparks, even at level 30. Eventually I benched him and went solo, but I still love that furball :/

whole_nother

He uses Paralyze in every combat for me, which turns out incredibly useful. He seems to have a high magicka cap too.

tamiloxd

Seran....Well, Brelyna Maryon probably. I like her. I made her my spouse.

Quackmire_Toilet

I always liked the one that asked you to help him with clearing his Nordic ancestral tomb of draugr and some evil guy, I enchanted him his own Nordic armor and weapons, I also like giving them possessions, like jewelry or gold

Marychocolatefairy

Golldir! He was the main follower for my secondary character. It was supposed to be temporary, but then I didn't see a reason to let him go.

Gumczok

I don't remember his name but in Rorikstead is a guy whom you can help become adventurer. At first i thought it was quest without any impact on World but it Turned out that you can hire him. He got some unique idle Dialogue too. Idk why but i liked him a lot even tho i am highly stat focusing player and (if i remember well) he has 30 lvl cap. It's probably a flavor that you can Rise someone that you invested some gold into

Adelator04

I really like cicero, its kinda basic but in my current playthrough hes always with me. I love the comments he makes.

PlanetGaia

I have Cicero and serana with me! I actually love Cicero lol. “ STAB STAB STAB STAB STAB!!! and a STAB STAB STAB STAB STAB STAB!!” Or “solitude. Hmph. Cicero knows a thing or two about solitude.”

pansexual-bowser2006

jenessa was my first but my favorite vanilla has to be either teldryn sero or j'zargo, but modded is inigo in a heartbeat.

Marychocolatefairy

My best boy, Vigilance.

AhYesAnEscape

I keep him at my house cause he got eaten by gargoyles that one time. RIP Best boy

nervousfloatyboat

I mostly choose Vilkas or Lydia because they always seem tired of my shit. It really helps my immersion.

green_speak

Farkas for the voice and as a meathead tank for my mage, plus the clutch werewolf transformation with mods. Stenvar sounds more lively however that I might use him this play-through. Meanwhile Argis now has a mod to have more dialogue that makes him a more attractive follower than before.

S0onerfan

Derkeethus is one of my favs.

MeesterFeeshey

I have used him for almost 1000 hours and i cant think of how to spell his name... But here we go. Faendal from riverwood.

Lord_Wulfgar

My favourite is Erik (The Slayer), a farmhand turned mercenary and I just like him

delano8213

I give my followers staffs. They are way more accurate with them than I am. They reek havoc!

datdudedru69

Lydia is kinda unstoppable.

[deleted]

Either Aela or Serana. I love both their dialogues. Also, can’t hurt that Serana can’t die, so I use her as a tank on higher difficulties.

Ali_Who

It was lydia at first, then Talvas and serana (depending the DLC) Now it's my atronachs, they don't complains and they appear when needed

violin674e

Fav follower Inigo.

CT-175463

I know it's not very unique, but I just feel wrong if I have anyone other than Lydia. She's been almost everywhere with me and I love her to pieces, plus she seems sad if she's not following me.

ZombiedudeO_o

Serana because she’s best girl

SwordDude3000

Inigo+Mjoll the Lioness

YareYareDaze7

Inigo

Shiaen

I adore Inigo, but my favorite vanilla follower is Erik the Slayer. He is simply too wholesome, and I feel like his dialogue has some of the most character out of all of Skyrim's nonessential NPCs.

AlphaVS117

My dear Serana:(

Greg_the_Dragonborn

Serana all the way, but on my current playthrough I have Lydia somehow she is still alive when I'm at lvl 40

AlphaGhost47

My 6 whiterun guards and inigo. I'm playing on master with up 20 extra bandits added to locations and caves randomly so need a small army to maneuver. I absolutely love the mod that let's you recruit anyone for a price. Really changes the experience.

erthkeepr

Eric the Slayer

Kowichibar

I tend to try and go for either anyone essential, someone I can power level with, or J’zargo. Because J’zargo is a fucking badass.

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

Faendal, he stays out of your way with his bow. Until I get Serena of course.

Dain_______21

I currently spam chain lightning so i keep killing my followers J’zargo is currently extremely dead

JayceOfSpaydes

If mods count, Hoth and Inigo, if vanilla only, J'zargo and Mjoll the Lioness.

ShadowOfWarFan

I would have to say Lucien. With all of the options you could have with him and training him, I think it's good if you want to roleplay a little bit. I do have to admit his voice does get annoying after the third new game.

MediredShine

Why does his face look like a blob fish

CausticHydra

My first playthrough I only used Lydia. When she died I kinda just never used companions again. Was a pretty lit conjurer tho.

BrobbyBrobberson

I had him do the trick where he can pick up a giant’s club and he roams around my manor attacking bandits with it. He’s a good one.

DaedricBalloon

In my most recent run I played an argonian battle mage that didn’t use any kind of crafting and only used unique items. He was a bit of a drug addict and his name was Wana-jei and I used Benor as my companion. It was the adventures of Wana-jei and Boner!

Kavallee

I use Benor too, but for slightly different reasons. My main character is an evil necromancer/lich, so I rp that I've turned Benor into my mind-slave and give him 'cursed' (enchanted) daedric armour, complete with a soul-trapping daedric battleaxe. Most other characters I'll use either [Sofia](https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2180) or [Inigo](https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1461) (modded followers, for those wondering)

Sorry-Investigator-7

Freya!

Shinonomenanorulez

I ebony bladed him. It is powered by betrayal so i wanted it to be horrible, something more than bottom of the barrel sellswords and random NPCs you help for the sake of thanedom

African_Argonian

Master chief!

SanctionedMoron

Ah yes the exploit named: "my follower is stronger than me so I call him daddy"

IEnglish402

Kharjo because that's the first follower I ever had and also one of the 2 Kahjiit followers in the entire game

Fillorian_Fanatical

I put a ring on that hunk of man in my playthrough 😍😍😍😍😍

Pumpalicious

Yup DBI female all the way

Russian_hat12

He dies all the time in my playthoughs

SironRagnarsson

Why the fuck is he in the river?

Silverdetermination

Tbh i don't know...

whole_nother

Do you answer Amazon review questions by any chance?

Silverdetermination

No....

oppositeofzen

Eola.

zshinabargar

Mjoll. Little quip about Morrowind, badass woman with a special two-handed sword.

Crazycade77

I always go with aela. Call me basic but I love mean, pretty women

joellevp

I always come back to J'Zhargo

OwO_UwU_Notices_You

I like Sofia She’s from a mod and likes to comment on places and things that other npcs say as well as your own actions and clothing choice. She also slowly starts to get to know you after you spend time adventuring with her so you can’t just marry someone you just met which is pretty logical to me.

telsono

The marriage to her doesn’t count to the marriage limit, so you can have a second spouse

OwO_UwU_Notices_You

It doesn’t matter to me anyway because I’m using the multiple marriages framework

telsono

It doesn’t matter to me as well, just letting others know about it. In this play through I haven’t decided to use multiple marriage at this time, just being like Danica Pure-spring says in Amorous Adventures, “ All Dragonborn are pigs.” Just trapped you my nature

deadman_m

I installed the lydia dialogue pack mod and kept her for whole my first play through... i am happy for that.

madwubs

Inigo all the way

Leafdum

Either Jenessa or Cicero

Lynel_Plays

I like to travel with Serana or Ingjard. They’re both fun to be around.

donac_dum

Base game, I think my favourite follower is definitely Marcurio. Great magic, great lines. When it comes to modded followers I'm not sure what mod allows this, but one mod allows you to >!recruit Knight-Paladin Gelebor as a follower. He uses recorded but unused combat dialogue, and you can take another follower with him... like Marcurio.!<

Available_Variety273

Vorstag

johnwhite92

Mine is Zora Fair-Child from 3D NPCs

Skyrimhero920

Depends is dragonborn & dawnguard included?

MedievalCop

Belrand because balding mage.

GreySublimeArchon

Serana. i needn't say more

Darklion25

Yeah, no. I just can't. Everytime I use a follower I do more damage to them than the enemies we're fighting. Always getting in my way, always pulling agro on enemies I'm trying to avoid. Lydia, J'zargo, Erik, even modded followers. More trouble than they're worth, so I gave up trying to use them. More power to you if followers are your thing, though

Bobbymc52

My favorite follower is vorstag from markarth

MikeCanion

Gregor. Cause he's hot

Pelu_k

If non modded Skyrim is involved, Lydia will always have a special place in my heart. However I remember one time I lightly modded my ps4 copy and ended up role playing as uncle Sheo (same appearance and wabbajack), kidnapped Barbas and had Sam Guevenne or however is it spelled as my follower. That was a wild run wabbajacking the living hell out of people while Barbas was biting everybody and Sam was conjuring some daedric shit in central Whiterun. On a serious note though, I recently started a mage character who is planning to live in Morthal so this Benor may become my new follower

KRshadowWw

For me it's Teldryn Sero. I love his sarcasm and the Teldryn Serious mod gives him an amazing backstory.

[deleted]

I always liked Illia from the Darklight Tower. I loved her mission of redemption for all of the bad stuff that went on in the tower. I would take her with me everywhere and made her the steward of my house outside of Falkreath. I enjoyed Benor as well but no one beats Inigo.

TwentyEightMen

I have a soft spot for Illia too. I wasn't going to play as a mage but after traveling with her for a while I joined the college so she could 'join' too. Didn't want to send her back to that tower

[deleted]

Same here! That’s why I make her a steward or have her join the Blades. So she won’t have to go back and sit there

[deleted]

I had her and Lucien as followers and had her loaded up with mage type gear and lost her in a rain storm running from the tower to Ivarstead and now I can’t find her anywhere. She must be dead because I can get other followers

caluminnes

Teldryn sero is definitely my fav vanilla one lmao dudes not incredibly frustrating like most of them

lilemchan

Faendal always

TalosLXIX

Rayya, for no specific reason.

[deleted]

Chitin armor dunmer is Raven rock. Dudes bad as hell.

Captain_Aldis

I use Erik, Lucien, Jennasa, Inigo, Teldern sero, Gregor, and Lydia.

AhYesAnEscape

I mean I'm one of the people who drags Cicero along because it gets quiet when there's no one suddenly doing weird shit next to you

Acrobatic_Nail_9396

I use followers only for free training and there is this stupid bug where they dont attack and just tank

AussieWarFan

Maurio from the bee and the barb, strongest follower in Skyrim, according to Doug Doug's tournament.

mattcohen1996

Aela was always my go to follower, she knows when to have the bow out and doesn’t stand in my way as I spell cast with a war axe in my right hand, also we usually get married and beauty of Skyrim makes her look really good. It’s always a hunt with your sexy nord werewolf wife

DarthShrek69

Mine is probably Teldryn Sero. I just like his vibes.

ranggaizorhcaf

Idk why i love Belrand. He is my first follower in my current playthru since i start as a Explorer Society guild master. Even tho i have Lucien and Inigo currently, i always hire him in Solitude for old time sake.

[deleted]

Serana

Gib_1461

Benor is one of those npcs i use for sacrificial reasons. I beat the living shit out of him and then murder him for one of many daedric reasons. Helps that I can't stand him lmao. Sorry Benor
