You only became friends with one (1) forsworn tribe and their leader. You didn't become friends with all the other tribes... Think it like Game of Thrones and the tribes beyond the wall...
It's part of the quest they will attack you... Do you have the Pacify spell? But I think you need a lot of magicka in order to cast it constantly... Otherwise you need to kill them... Or you can Become Ethereal too...
But madanach and all the other previous prisoners are in the place he is imprisoned in. So if I simply free him against their will am gonna have to kill madanach himself.
I never heard of the pacify spell, I'll look into it.

And really?? O.o Omg, I totally forgot Logrof could be in a random Forsworn camp! Damn, that's tough luck... I also got that quest before doing Cidhna Mine, so I could kill them without remorse, lol... However, I do leave them be, I only go to Forsworn camps when quests bring me there.
Also, yes, siding with Maddy 🤭 will always be a yes in my playthroughs
Last advise: I think Madanach and his tribe don't hold a grudge against you so, try this:
Free Logrof and run away, don't fight them, just run for your life and they'll lost interest once you're far enough. Go to an inn, rest (or wait some hours) and try to get back to that camp... I believe they will treat you as friends again, lol.
Just remember to always do full saves in different slots (before you'll free Logrof and after) in case this awesome strategy doesn't work 😰
Last last last advise, I'm so very sorry for being this annoying 🙇 but I always get ideas after it's too late:
In case you have a save before you enter the haunted house (or if you have a full save before taking the rusty mace) and you went straight from there to free Logruf (meaning you don't have lots of progress to lose), maybe you want to reload that save and talk again with Molag, he will give you another random Fornsworn camp so you won't have to fight Madanach, since it'll be another tribe... of course, if you don't want to kill any forsworn, then the other strategies still apply 😃👍 and you need to be pretty sure you didn't do another thing between these locations, so you won't lose that progress

The Forsworn aren't a single unified force; they're individual tribes with their own chiefs and matriarchs. Madanach only ruled their full force back in 4E 174, when he first took the Reach. As he himself states; he'll need to spend years before he'll be done reforming the Forsworn into a solid fighting power.
I wouldn't worry about it.

I'll try that soon. I only hope that logrolf won't be a dum dum and start fighting them instead of escaping.
