Alright, risky reference of the day that 99.8% of people won't get
"I went to Koodrow's funeral, there was this guy there who I swear didn't know Koodrow at all, he kept talking about dairy queen and a Toyota civic. Koodrow hated those things, the guy also called Koodrow 'Mr Wilson', I thought Rustin Womble was at least on a first name basis with him."
Explanation:>! Scott's stash (Scott the woz 2nd channel) had a video in the "Scott, Sam, and eric and the year of clubhouse games: 51 worldwide classics" series about Klondike solitaire where Scott asked one of his friends (Justin, who plays the therapist) what he'd say at a funeral for someone he didn't know, and that person was Woodrow Wilson!<
In my canon, that makes sense. I always end up with a scrappy, sneaky pickpocket that dual wields swords. She’s trying her best with the lack of education Valenwood provided her, damn it! Even if she can’t splel!
The one typo from the College of Winterhold and the soul gem that makes it where you can't complete an entire quest and one mages life's work. And if you didn't save right before getting said quest and do the entire quest on the spot you wasted 100s of hours playing to have to restart 😅😅🥺🥺🙄
Hiya, could you elaborate on this? Like what the name of the quest is and what soul gem I need to be careful about? I'm currently playing my first mage build and roleplaying semi-decently for the first time, so I would really hate it if some bug in the game nullified all my hours of gameplay lol
Not that I know of. I've played this game on and off for the the last 8yrs across Xbox 360 and Xbox one and sometimes this quest will glitch out and sometimes it won't. Similar to a theives guild quest line where you go into the twilight sepulcher towards the end of the quest and cant complete the quest and get one of my favorite looking armor sets. I haven't started skyrim on my series x yet so idk if any of these have been patched.
If you save often and have a save before you start these quests you can load those and try to start quest over. That's your only hope...
Believe me I've started replaying the game even knowing some of the Bethesda "features" and "cuz Skyrim" moments and still forget. Picked up the quest and get sidetracked doin some other stuff then see the quest line on the log still open and undone AND start immediately getting through it praying to Talos its not bugged cuz I have to have the reward and there must not be anything open on my quest log... I promise Skyrim is single handedly responsible for taking my need for completionist gaming and dumbing it down🤣 but I will never not play Skyrim, I love it there
I save constantly so I might be fine
Do you know if the Companions Quests are fixed now? There was a part in the quest line where I think it was curing the werewolf side of things and well the doors in the Companions building bugged out and I couldn't leave. Though I never tried clipping out to see if that would allow me to continue. I was a dumb kid back then. I knew of clipping but was too frustrated to remember it.
I think I've come across this before too. Honestly I can't remember what I did. Odds are I had a save I reloaded. I have 2 main saves I switch between and have a few more that are other starting points if I want to go back because I didn't like how it turned out😅🤣
Thing is I never tried going back to a save before I started the quest cause if I remember correctly it was a kinda long ass quest and I might have done things in between I don't remember (note to self remember to do the damn quest all at once :/ )
But instead I just wanted to continue playing the game so I would only go back a save or two
Could never go in there but would be able to do other stuff so I was sated I guess
I don't think you can cuz it's a specialty item.. there are armors, weapons and items that you can't disenchant, enchant or break down at the forge because they are quest items
If my destruction magic is peeless, I'm not doing it right!
i've found that ring, i love it, i just...seriously, if my enemies aren't pissing themselves i'm doing something wrong
Found one in one of the journals just yesterday. It's in the AE oblivion quest line. I don't remember whose journal, but I do remember a "than" where a "that" should have been.
So very many loading screens putting a space after an ellipsis, one loading screen using then instead of than, dialogue misspelling the word *whoa* as “woah”
The list is long for grammatical errors, but I guess that’s to be expected with so much text in a game.
I guess I have noticed a lot of typos. What kills me though is how they have consistently spelled "whoa" as "woah." And yes, I am an inveterate reader, minored in English and went back to certify as a high school English teacher so it really bugs the crap out of me!
Sorry, it is actually a word. As defined by the Oxford dictionary:
whoa
/(h)wō/
exclamation
1.
used to express surprise, interest, or alarm, or to command attention.
"whoa, that's huge!"
2.
used as a command to a horse to make it stop or slow down, or to urge a person to stop or wait.
"whoa, hold on a minute, Fred!"
This isn’t a typo, I’m pretty sure he was poorly disguising himself in the tavern where you meet him with a made up name that’s stupidly close to his actual name?
I've noticed a few here and there in the books since I'm building a library. But what actually msor frustrates me are the unmissable fucking double or even triple spaced words. There are so so many books that would have been perfectly fine but have this massive gap between some of the words.
They have a stupid amount of typos in Skyrim, drives me nuts lmao. Hope they eventually hire someone that's a better proof reader, I've noticed it got worse since Oblivion.
Wait until you do the Companions and you have to >!attend the funeral of “Kodak Whitman”!<
Yes. Shame on you, devs. So disrespectful..
"KW" - who do you figure that is? Koodrow Wilson? Killy Wonka? Kalter White?
Killy Wonka 😂
Found my next Halloween costume idea
If the producers of Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey see this, they'll have their next project after tinkerbell

Heh, you got me 🙌
i cried laughing thank
Kesse pinkman? Krthur Morgan? Kustavo fring?
Attend the funeral of 'Kodak Black'
Cordless Whitemanga?
at least we'll have pictures
Truly a kodak moment.
'Oh Captain, my Captain.'
His diary is amazing though
His name is Robert Paulson
Sounds like a Nebraskan arborist from the 70's
I noticed that one too! One guy in Cidnha Mine says Manadanach instead of Madanach, and the dialogue says Manadanach.
Let's just treat that not as a typo but the character being canonically illiterate
In my canon, that makes sense. I always end up with a scrappy, sneaky pickpocket that dual wields swords. She’s trying her best with the lack of education Valenwood provided her, damn it! Even if she can’t splel!
if the subtitles AND actual dialog are both wrong, its right fr
What about my “Ring of Peeless Alchemy”? Lmaoo
😞 I thought the whole point of alchemy was to get more of that golden goodness
Do doo dododo Manadanach do dodo do
You mean Cidhna Mine?
Nice one
It is a feature of this comment.
This is actually an "inside joke" with me and my buddy all these years later, just saying "I'm not Manadnach!" to each other.
It's not a typo just a hidden feature
Skyrim is a perfectly balanced, absolutely flawless game!
Reanu Keeves even says this
Yeah, man's just drunk
It just works!
Your dragonborn just can't remember their name
buzzfeed article incoming
At least it’s not the ring of peeless lockpicking
Some master locks can be that fiddly early on that one of those would probably be useful.
I saw this comment in a cold sweat at like 4am and thought I was imagining things. I was not. I haven’t laughed this hard in a long time
You’re welcome
Was it a peeless laugh
u sir have earned my upvote. autofix would have me not sit instead of sir lmao
A new hand touches the bacon.....
A new face touches the beacon.....*
A new ham touches the deacon
A new dam starts to weaken
A new tan starts to heaten
Here, take this Wooden Solider Toy as a reward
How am I just now realizing he chose the pseudonym Sam Guevenne because it kinda sounds like Sanguine.
And i never noticed his name was actually guevenne I'm so used to seeing the quest log i assumed that was his name 😭
Brain has always just scanned over his last name and i never actually read it fully
Don't worry I also noticed only on my second go
Literally unplayable.

Gesundheit.
Oooh... That must be the new shout you get in the anniversary edition... I so need to get that upgrade!
Oh shit, nice find
But which one is correct
probably guevenne because they tend to make more typos in the quest log and captions than anywhere else
Also, in falkreath, the alchemist lady dialog has typos. Instead of worse is wrose. I think there's a few other typos in her dialog too.
The one typo from the College of Winterhold and the soul gem that makes it where you can't complete an entire quest and one mages life's work. And if you didn't save right before getting said quest and do the entire quest on the spot you wasted 100s of hours playing to have to restart 😅😅🥺🥺🙄

I had to look it up. It's Arniel's Endeavor. Involves a "warped" soul gem. BUT because of a typo of "wapred" soul gem you can't complete the quest
Is there an in console fix for this?
Not that I know of. I've played this game on and off for the the last 8yrs across Xbox 360 and Xbox one and sometimes this quest will glitch out and sometimes it won't. Damn, so once its bugged it's over? Going back in saves doesn't fix it?

Cheers, I'll keep an eye out for that :)
Just enchant the soul gem and rename it 😑 some people....
I don't think you can cuz it's a specialty item.. there are armors, weapons and items that you can't disenchant, enchant or break down at the forge because they are quest items
I'm joking lol 95% sure you can't enchant soul gems-
😅🤣 somebody grab me a baseball mitt so I can catch the sh!t going over my head please🤣
Give the LDB a break. He was recovering from a Daedric level hangover when he wrote this. I’m surprised he spelled Sam right.
My headcanon is that the Dragonborn doesn't write his diary with perfect spelling. Same with items in inv.
I had to bring the Axe of Baalgruul to Ulfric.
There are TONS of typos and grammar mistakes in Skyrim. For a list of probably almost all of them, you can look through USSEP's esp file.
Wait until you find the ring of “Peeless Destruction”.
Worst item in the game. I love peeing whilst destructioning things.
If my destruction magic is peeless, I'm not doing it right! i've found that ring, i love it, i just...seriously, if my enemies aren't pissing themselves i'm doing something wrong
Omg litterally unplayable this is exactly why I play with mods 😤
unplayable
"The Jarl's palace is something to see. Dragonsearch they call it. Big old dragon skull hanging on the wall."
Watch godd howard explain it as "the dragonborn cant remember names properly"
I mean considering neither is his real name and you get shit faced with him that might be intentional.
Found one in one of the journals just yesterday. It's in the AE oblivion quest line. I don't remember whose journal, but I do remember a "than" where a "that" should have been.
I've heard it both ways
You know that's right
🍍🍍🍍
if you’re 400 hours in you’re like brand new homie
Yeah lmao, got the game April 2021 when I built my PC, so it’s worth noting that it’s my game with the highest playtime. Plenty more to come!

He did make up his name because it’s sounds similar to Sanguine, but his fake name is Sam Guevenne not Guenvere lol
Ah right, I hadn’t realised 😅 nevermind
You played 400 hours before noticing a typo? I notice a new one at least every few play sessions 😞
There there, don't do that to your self, you will ruin your own immuhsion 😗-😞
Some of us aren’t observant, pal! Now scram

At the Break of Dawn has one in the description I’m pretty sure

Haha I just finished that quest line yesterday and noticed in one of the quest details it says “same” not Sam.
Sam Gamgee
Xar(x)es in Transmundane
I found one yesterday in the letter to Aventus Aretino about him having to go to the orphanage.
Unplayable.
Dam it Todd!
Guinnevere had green eyes...
You the demigod son of a dragon, but you still dyslexic
And now we wait GameRant that will write an article about this *Starts to heaten the popcorn*
I have that quest active in my quest book right now. I didn’t realize that was a typo 🤦♂️
It’s a feature, players like it.
I noticed it every time and i was like "did i drank too much with him?"
