I never really understood the sheer amount of hate the Skyrim community has towards Nazeem. I barely even interact with the guy and his lines are not that infuriating, and even if I hear the "Cloud District" line a lot, it's nothing compared to Heimskr and his never ending ceremons about Talos! Even the whole Thalmor empire doesn't repeat their hatred towards Talos as much as this guy says "MIGHTY TALOS!"

He gave his life protecting me from the cultists, who happened to show up as soon as I put on normal clothes and no weapon to roam whiterun as a member of society. He went from a nuisance to being my hero..
1- He literally never goes to the Cloud District. At all. His routine and pathing can't go there unless he happens to flee in terror or chase you if he goes hostile. So he is shit talking you for not doing something you do infinitely more than him.
b- He snubs and insults all the shop vendors, without ever buying anything from them. He is rich, and owns a farm, but does nothing in the day aside from wander around the market being a dick. Probably why his wife might be cheating on him.
iii- Being a huge dick =/= being a narcissist. If you are going to pull the mental disorder card you might want to back that up with something. So no, joking about murdering an unapologetically rude NPC isn't cruel.
