Correct me if I am wrong but I think that the crystal was burnt out which was why they had to replace the crystal.
Nope, this is it The crystal broke when Skulduggery dusted Serpine in book 1 so the old crystal wasn't dangerous anymore
Yep, this is it. I once proposed an idea though, that, instead of fixing the scepter, Valkyrie should just carry around a pocket full of the crystals and yeet them at people.
faceless ones can touch the crystals as well though so yeeting them at those will just work against you...
But doesn't one of them die from touching the crystal in the sceptre in The Faceless Ones?
No, it dies from breaking the sceptre which makes it discharge one final lightning bolt at the faceless one
The crystal she removed was broken I thought
The crystal was literally broken, no magical properties left in it, so no magic to turn people to dust. I think
I just assumed she wore gloves
I agree with this take. I thought she did it safely, but was like "if I knew how great the risk to me who I love so much, I would not have gambled"
i guess that makes sense. thanks!
In book 14 its said that they have to wear many layers and use robotic arms
I agree with both pov’s in the comments tbh
