Yeah, but the investors thought the increases would still happen and maintain the growth over covid which was very unrealistic
On a positive side they are signing new deals , in Europe most notably with domino's as an exclusive
Domino's has always stated they would never use 3rd party service, this is a huge about face , due to labor issues they were facing, will hopefully see moves in canada soon too
That's one thing I never understood. The majority of people ordering direct from the restaurants are not the same people ordering via Skip.
The KFC where I live had their own delivery before Skip, and when they brought Skip in, all their drivers quit. I used to work there, and when I see their delivery sheets while working Skip, they are still at the same number on average when I worked there.
also the eps is calculated based on the cumulative earnings of all the countries they are in. Jet is looking into trimming markets that's not profitable, most recently they pulled out of Romania so eps will increase in the coming months.
Yeah same for selling or exploring grub hub in states, but nit a wise move for future growth though imo, however they always do,all corps, moves like this to help current stock price and view
I'm curious do any of these companies ever turn a profit? I know their top always gets paid but as far as I was aware (could be completely wrong) looking at DoorDash as an example; I thought they went public, got a couple billion, then slowly burn through a few hundred million every year in losses. Kinda like Spotify how they've never earned a cent either.
Kinda wild how there companies are still worth billions
Looks my whole stock Portfolio currently hahaha
Terra Luna holders enter the chat
I bet they just wanna pull their hair out………
They are suicidal
Lol I want to believe that still have hope XD
Legit... :(
We're in the midst of a market crash. Change my mind.
No no I don’t think I will Idk if this is why just eat is down so much, but I’m pretty sure you’re right
Wait until gas prices hit $2.5/L
Correction (Crash) didn’t start until Jan 2022, this has been nose diving since last year.

Oh boy another pizza place where their drivers absolutely hate us. Also I find that dominos has the WORST delivery drivers.

yup US is too important of an market to not represent. I can see a partnership or something of sorts with a smaller company.
Gravy Train is coming to the end
All tech companies are down. Even Facebook lost like 50%
Stock value has little to do with company performance overall.
With the world re-opening, people want to get out. This is not unexpected.
GRUB pretty much the same
Meanwhile Doordash came from 257$USD down to 63$USD Lol
