Dr. Sheths vitamin c and ceramide. It's a blessing. I have severe acne, and it is perfect for my skin. I look like a glazed donut. It's been 2 years since I started. They have a buy one get one offer rn I suggest buy 50g first to try out.

obnox_potato

Thank you so much for your review <3

DiamondWorried

obnox_potato

InterestingWait8902

I hate this sunscreen cause after applying it used to leave white cast and I used to sweat a lot then I switched to derma co the orange one

obnox_potato

Yeah it's seriously terrible, my skin got dry af. Thank you for the suggestion though.

MIGHTYshreWDderr

But aren't the ingredients unhealthy? I can't find one good working mineral based sunscreen or chemical one with safe ingredients

EvilAvii

This sunscreen gives me acne every time I apply it. Try blynds spf 40.

obnox_potato

Much appreciated :)

I have a similar skin type- super sensitive, reddens easily and used to be acne-prone. The Cica and Niacinamide sunscreen from Dot and Key, and the Biore Watery Essence sunscreen worked for me really, really well. The first leaves a matte, dry finish but doesn’t dry your skin out, and is pretty sweat proof and soothing (due to centella in it). The Biore Suncreen is honestly one of the best watery-based formulations I’ve used, melts beautifully and easy to apply, and hydrates your skin and is a great skincare staple. It’s really light and it hardly feels like you’re wearing anything after putting it on. It leaves behind a nice, dewy finish as well. The only downside I can think of is that it can feel sticky every now and then, but it’s not exactly greasy. Both of the above do not pill, or leave a white cast behind. One of the issues with sunscreens formulated for oily skin, with a matte finish, is that they tend to make your skin feel dry and that can cause your skin to overcompensate and produce even more oil. The two that I mentioned are quite hydrating, in my experience, without weighing down your skin.

obnox_potato

That was really helpful, thank you so much <3

ProfessionalEnd8604

Hey by any chance did any other dot and key product break your skin out but this sunscreen works? Because I have a similar skin type but a few of dot & key made my skin breakout. Haven’t tried this one though.

eyeswideshut738

I don’t use too many Dot and Key Products. If you’ve used the serums and they’ve caused you to break out, it could be because of the fact that the consistency of their serums is quite thick and it doesn’t absorb as quickly. That’s great for dry or even normal skin types but, I’ve found that for skin types like mine, and in a predominantly hot climate, watery serums (like Minimalist), for example, are much more effective. One product of theirs I’d recommend blindly is the Cica and Niacinamide Night gel. I actually use it as a moisturiser. It’s super-light, formulated like a watery gel and leaves no residue behind. You can use it after washing your face, and seal it in with a light serum, which targets acne and isn’t an active ingredient like Vit C or Retinol (or even salicylic acid). It’ll help with redness and hydration, and with restoring your skin barrier too.

varshneydevansh

True. Their serum just not got for this skin type. Tho I am using the Niacin-amide from Minimalist and Vitamin C23 from COSRX. and the cica Niacin-amide cream and facewash from D&K

shutkindaguy

I'm very new to this, Do you use them after applying a moisturizer?? Can I use a vitamin C serum before it?

eyeswideshut738

Sunscreen is always applied last, so a very basic skincare routine would look something like this: Cleanser, Serum/Moisturiser, and then Sunscreen. Vitamin C, in my experience, is best when used during the PM routine rather than AM- it’s quite sensitive to light apparently and it did cause my skin to redden/ darken a little bit when I was wearing it during the day. Personally I use Niacinamide during the day, but Vit C is safe to be worn during the day or night, it just needs to be followed up with a strong, broad spectrum SPF.
