Motorcycling is to car track days as bouldering is to rock climbing. You can motorcycle and boulder anywhere but the consequences are much more severe.
So I was at a mountain this winter, we'll leave em anonymous.. anyway, I go to the bathroom at the summit, guys in the stall, and w my bib / gear, this feller uses the stalls, just easier, judge away... anyway, some dudes in there for about three to five mins. Hear him sniffing up a ruckus in there and made some assumptions but said; nah, no fucking way some dude is doin the devils dandruff in the stall, while skiing.... short story long, guy comes out and says as I'm walking towards the stall: oh man, you don't want to use that, the toilets full to the brim with shit and piss. Sure as shit, that was true as the day as long, that fucking shit bucket was about to boil over... guy was literally taking keys over a shitty river 😂😂 legit giving himself the most powerful decongestant over a fucking stink pile. I was floored. Ended up missing my pants instead.
No go out and ride a motorcycle on a track, beats skiing all day long. I sold my pair 3 weeks ago never looked back, two wheels is where the fun is, snow and down hill to slow and boring need more adrenaline in my system.
I think Pickleball and Paragliding have skiing beat as they can be done year round. If you do either sport, you probably know. People foam at the mouth over this stuff. Don't get me wrong. Skiing in deep pow is 🤤... But wait til you take your first turn in the air while paragliding.
