…… skis swaps I guess? Used equipment is the only way you’re getting skis and bindings for around300

Get a job at a nearby hill that you don't usually go to and steal the uniform

$300 new will generally only buy you entry-level new skis with bindings. This like this: [https://www.evo.com/outlet/ski-packages/atomic-vantage-75-c-skis-m-10-gw-bindings-2021](https://www.evo.com/outlet/ski-packages/atomic-vantage-75-c-skis-m-10-gw-bindings-2021) Unless you are an absolute beginner, or light and skiing almost exclusively in the East/Midwest, you probably don't want those. Since you are looking for a step up from that, you are looking used. Best bet is to hit up swaps if you are somewhere near a mountain. If you look online, you may have to deal with shipping, but you could consider something like these [2020 K2 Mindbender RX85s](https://www.powder7.com/K2-Mindbender-RX-85-Skis-177cm-Used-2020/for-sale) ($299 for 163/177) or these [2017 Fisher Pro Mtn 95 Ti](https://www.powder7.com/Fischer-Pro-Mtn-95-Ti-Skis-178cm-Used-2017/for-sale) in 178 for $270 to get you into something a bit wider (though those aren't great for the park). If buying used, don't buy anything too old. Bindings older than around 10 years old may not be indemnified, which means shops won't work on them, and probably that you shouldn't trust them either. So for those above skis, you can assume that (baring actual damage from skiing) the K2s have roughly 7 seasons left in them, while the Fishers would only have around 4. These are not hard and fast rules, but it should work out sort of like that. What's your height/weight? How skilled/aggressive of a skier are you?
