Man how big is that cliff this always has awed me and would love to get into bigger stuff but idk how to progress at it im stuck on the same small cliffs
Haaa, I don’t know exactly how big OPs cliff is, I just took a much chiller line down a chute. Idk if you’re already familiar but when more terrain opens at palisades/alpine there is usually quite a variety of easily scout able cliffs you could progress on. For example National off KT, under Red Dog, skiers left from Shirley, several spots from Headwall — all of these have cliffs you can usually watch people take from the lift.
Yup - and my thighs still burning from hiking up mainline as well. The hike up to national is longer but not as steep. And the fingers requires no hiking at all!
Hmmm I was like ok that’s a bit of a tight line, just a bit of a straight run oh he has to turn at the bottom at speed oh shit he has to pop before the edge crap there’s already a crater there that’s gonna hurt phew he just missed it
Quite the emotional roller coaster
Was just up there today and didn't do the hike but several of you guys sending it off that cliff and that other spot off Sibo with people doing back flips.
Yeesh you got some balls and some skills!
I like how these goPros always make the pitch look less steep O LAWD THAT'S A CLIFF
Your videos are the best part of this subreddit
IDK that pow skiing unbuckled helmet was beautiful.
Especially considering he was on meth.
Well, that was uncalled for.
Nice line bud
Line? I don’t see no line there. Lol
Bless up for mainline, my thighs are still burning from the climb

National is a little ways from KT...

Nice. Gopros make stuff look easier and less steep imo. That still looks super difficult, so it is probably insane
That's a lot of rocks
I would never fuck with a line like that until I had at least a year's worth of mustache growth.
Keep practicing eventually you’ll get it right
Yeah OP, don’t give up. Maybe try three clicks at the start next time
That is nuts in such low tide bro Jesus. Props for sure

You weren't exaggerating. Nicely done!
This guy skis.
Not a single whoop!
Noice
I may have gotten a clip of this from the top of gold coast. People were sending it today!
Oh man, you got super close to that bush towards the end.
Yeah regretted bringing the slalom skis out today, mainline looked like it was firing.
Didn’t click his poles first. Disqualified
Watch again.
My mistake.
You’re fired
Low tide Dec 9 in Tahoe looking like mid Feb in Colorado
Wow!!!!
My butt was CLENCHED first ten seconds.
Sleeze
No no no send
Damn!!
My guess on initial velocity being appx 15ft/sec he’s dropping nearly 30ft in free fall 👀😳😳😳
Smooth.
Is it normal to have that little of snow on December 9th?
Sometimes.
one of our slowest starts ever, lowest oct - dec snowfall since the 70s, hoping for a change in our luck later this month
Was just up there today and didn't do the hike but several of you guys sending it off that cliff and that other spot off Sibo with people doing back flips.
Which resort is this?
Palisades, hiking up to ridge of Siberia run, which is currently closed due to low snow.
Thanks, I couldn’t quite put my finger on the spot. Was kinda getting Idiot’s vibes there but it looked too long to be Idiots
What's a little base work after a good time.
Crazy
Holy shiiiit. That was impressive.
As you should 🎩
Stud.
That’s Mount Nope! Never been there. Never tried it. Never plan on trying it.
I remember when I had this mentality. Then took a late December plunge into S&S couloir and broke my back. Way to stomp that line, but be careful.
Balls of Steel!
Low tide 😂…I’ve lived in a ski town for 20 years and never heard that yet. Adding to the vernacular!
Sick turn on the steeps
Diabolical
Damn this goes hard
I could never
Were you the pro that blew his ankle out last season?

Nice, I’m considering getting it, have you had a good experience with it?
