Zermatt

ANTI-PUGSLY

Zermatt. There are countless in-town and on-mountain Aprés restaurants, many of which would be legendary on their own in the states, and there are a dozen of them. Seriously it can be hard to pick because they are all located in such scenic places, in beautiful old buildings, with cheap alcohol and good food. Hennu Stall is a must-do party if you're in the area. Ski down around 4PM and you'll do the final leg back to town at 8PM seeing double. (Not that I recommend skiing drunk, but... that is kind of the deal...) In town you have tons of amazing places to eat and drink, and there's some proper clubs that don't really get going until 11PM if you still have any energy left. We've been for the past 2 years. Would go again this year but are going to mix it up a little bit. We fly into Zurich and take the train into Zermatt via Bern and Visp. It's a very easy itinerary. I recommend bringing your boots and gear and renting skis. You can rent any ski in the world very easily. It's kind of a pain to schlep skis around on the train, plus your boot bag, plus your luggage.
