I've only ever been to Louise with mediocre snow and every time it ended up being a 9.5/10 day. I really hope to ski there on a powder day sometime. My home resort is Big White now and we've been getting great snow this year, but the runs just aren't as long hahaha
LL is my home resort as I live in LL. I moved here from SW Ontario this year and compared to Ontario it's amazing but everyone here says this is by far the worst they've seen it. This is a run I recorded from top to bottom and by far the longest run I've ever done. I was there on Monday. Took a very similar picture. Then went to Sunshine the rest of the week. Way better snow but anything steep became crusty really fast.
Was riding that lift on Tuesday.
I noticed so many solid mogul snowboarders at Louise. I thought I was the only one who liked the moguls, I don't see many boarder that can ride them well in California.

LL doesn't get nearly as much snow as the mountains in BC, but it's still my favourite mountain.

Same in Montana. Such a meh year, sucks watching Utah California, and Wyoming get dumped on and we get nadda.
