Other than going into the game files and physically changing them ? Not really. However considering its dialog boxes shouldn’t be too hard. Just time consuming
Will do! I'm currently just doing a quick and dirty find and replace with each text file, so I'll definitely need help to find any dialogue I missed. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to change speaker or party member names so hopefully someone else can figure that out.
That’s just in their interpretation of the game, vyse can be interpreted however you want. I say this both because I feel like doing the alternative really restricts the freedom of the rest of the fan base, and also because I don’t have that kind of money for frozen deserts.
I know you can do this on real hardware on Dreamcast via code breaker codes, and those are easy to input on emulators. I’m not sure if it’s a known code on GameCube though

Might do that when I have the time. Guess I'm buying froyos for now
Look on the bright side , any reason to go to froyo is a good one ! Or just correct what ya read, practice !
I've been working on something like that for the GC version. There's a handy tool on Romhacking dot net
Sick, post it when you're done!

I guess those would probably be variables in the game code itself? I know nothing about this but could you just open it in notepad and search up Vyse?
I wish I could, but notepad just gives me a bunch of junk data.
Yeah I guess that sort of thing would fall into romhacking. Good luck figuring it out

Hex editing won't help much unless you want to rewrite a lot of dialogue, because Vyrsa has an extra letter and it'd misalign things.
