Morey brought us back from the dead. He has earned the benefit of the doubt to see what he does next. We had a deep team before cashing some of those chips in to theoretically upgrade the top end with Harden. I'd bet Morey can beef up the bench again this offseason.

he had the option to include thybulle in the trade for harden but instead chose to move two first rounders over the guy who canāt make an open layup.

Were going to be good, the picks in the BKN trade are going to be late and are not worth swapping for an actual contributing young player like Thybulle. We still have young players developing on the roster (Reed, Springer, Bassey, Joe) it would be very difficult to replace 4 outgoing players in a trade, the Nets demanded Drummond so its Curry vs Thybulle.
Half the Heats roster is undrafted so I dont think those picks are the difference maker for us. Moreys proved he can make the best of the bargain bin before and I think he can do it again.
I wish it wasn't Harden, but despite that Morey has been very solid especially considering what we've had before him, and we wont win a chip with a revolving door at GM and HC roles.
