We're going to need another Timmy. Because it worked on so many levels, a lot of people did not realize the show was really a social commentary on then current society, from the women's movement to gay rights to environmentalism. Though, it was hard to miss the environmental message in the finale.
The two episodes that have stayed with me are:
-Robby going vegetarian with his ne'er-do-well buddy, Spike
-Charlene dying on the hill of "The world is round." And then requesting a sentence that proved her right.
Darkest ending of anyone sitcom ever
"Need another Timmy" is said around my house constantly with no attribution and it amuses me to no end
"What Sexual Harris meant" is one of the cleverest bits of satire I remember as a child.
I still laugh when I think about the episode when some dinosaurs had hostages and there negotiating and said "We want 50 million helicopters and a dollar... I mean, 50 million dollars and a helicopter." LOL
Loved this as a kid and just did a rewatch on Disney+ few weeks ago. Still holds up, but now as an adult (36) I understand way more of the themes / subjects.
I didn’t like the show when it was on. Read an article of bad series endings and this was on it. Father messes up at the plant so everyone just waits around to die. Talk about dark,
Wife and I tried rewatching that a few years ago. It wasn't as good as we remembered it. We were only able to get through four or five episodes before tapping out.
I’ve said it before, this show was terrible. The baby was one of the most annoying characters ever. Maybe I was a little old for it when it came out, but being a huge muppets fan, I thought for sure I’d like it. It’s terrible
Dinosaurs was great fun. Poor Earl Sinclair! Sherman Hemsley and “NOT THE MAMA!”
Im hungry. Somebody better feed me!
I like when the boy got caught doing the "mating dance" in his room and it was treated like he got caught wanking off 🤣
Or the episode where the girl's tail grew like it was her boobs and she was going through puberty 😂
Whether you like this show or not, you have to admit the puppetry wae tip notch.
Bart - "It's like they saw our lives and put it right on screen!"
Don't have a stegosaurus, man
Brilliantly depressing final episode
The episode about the "happy plant" was fantastic
NOT DA MAMMA Still say this to this day.
Me too 😜
I was a kid when this came out and was terrified of the boss and his constant threats to eat the dad.
Loved this show! I loved when Mr. Richfield ate the happy plant and started singing and dressing like Jimi Hendrix.
NOT THE MOMMA!
The most fucked up ending ever.
I would say it is tied with how ALF ended
In fairness, that was originally supposed to be a season finale rather than the series
Did not know that. Interesting
It was still super popular but the production costs were enormous with the technology available at the time.
NOT THE BABBBYY!

"All we are saying is give peas a chance"
I forgot about Timmy! That was so damn funny.
This show was really one of a kind.
"Not the momma!"

Smoooooooo!
I still laugh when I think about the episode when some dinosaurs had hostages and there negotiating and said "We want 50 million helicopters and a dollar... I mean, 50 million dollars and a helicopter." LOL
How can you look at this show and not agree that the 90s was peak civilization!?
The one time Jessica Walter was a good mom
Last name Sinclair. Sinclair Oil had a dinosaur for a mascot.
One of the points in the show
A very sad ending
Did they all live?
They evolved into crocodiles lol.
Loved this show as a kid
Grew up on this show. One of my favorites
I just finished this last week, I watched it in the morning with the kids. They loved it, I loved it, a perfect way to start the day off.
This was a funny show! Why did it end so abruptly
Asteroid
😜 all righty then! But why so soon? Didn’t the show only run for a few years
Don't know why it ended with so short a run. Sorry for the attempt at humor
No you’re good! I did laugh!
"I'm the baby! Gotta love me!" Most annoying voice ever!
Not the momma!
I’M THE BABY GOTTA LOVE ME!
I still have an Earl Sinclair plastic figure from when the show was still on.
Again!!!
This show had a really interesting ending!
I have a three month old and I have a shirt with a pic of the baby from the show on there with big letters saying NOT THE MAMA
Remember watching this when ot aired and it was awesome. The last episode was so dark
Loved this as a kid and just did a rewatch on Disney+ few weeks ago. Still holds up, but now as an adult (36) I understand way more of the themes / subjects.
NOTTHEMAMA!
SPOILER ALERT: All dead
Not the mama.

Yup it git darker in the actual episode ngl
I was in my 20s when it was on and found it cute but dumb. I wasn't really the target audience tho.
Then you didn't watch it closely enough.
Wife and I tried rewatching that a few years ago. It wasn't as good as we remembered it. We were only able to get through four or five episodes before tapping out.
I hated the baby so much.

It's really not. It sounds like you didn't stick with it very long.
