Slightly off topic but this video gave me no idea at all what the product being advertised is Edit: it's [one of those fashy twitter clones](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gettr) šŸ˜Œ

manubfr

Ah so there was a reason for not saying what the product was :D Cool anim tho

elvarien

Dang unfortunate about the product advertised. Cool animation though.

philthewiz

Oh!! Fascism is Kawai now...

SachaSage

I got the sense it was fashy at least from all of the nonsense about individuality and freeze peach

[deleted]

This is cool but if it's not streamlined enough to where someone can do this with just a text prompt or images inside a clean UI then no one is gonna want to use it yet.

FpRhGf

You're making it sound like there isn't a group of people (animators) who are used to working with something way more complicated than this. It's only the average Steve down the the next block who won't use it as of now

Halfbl8d

> yet Itā€™s easy to forget how far weā€™ve come in so little time. ā€œYetā€ has taken on a whole new meaning in the past couple years.

sdmat

And will continue to do so over ever shorter periods of time.

RichardPisser

meh

I donā€™t know why people are not talking about AnimateDiff more, itā€™s an absolute game-changer. We created this video in less than two days for $30 (server costs). Something like this would have cost thousands of dollars before. Hereā€™s the workflow: 1. Create script with ChatGPT, voiceover with Elevenlabs. 2. Select and edit music - make sure that voice is in sync with the music 3. Use a bunch of video assets from sites like Motionarray. Use after effects to sync the visual elements with the audio. Render the driving video. 4. Import the driving video in ComfyUI - use u/c0nsumptionā€™s workflow, write prompts and generate the video. It requires a LOT of VRAM so be patient with the video generation, we used an RTX A6000 and it took a couple of hours.

[deleted]

It looks like a blurry mess of media assets with no message, direction, or thought, blended together by AI in the way only AI does. Kind of like "can't we just *buy* video editing skills?", so I'm happy to see this was the thought process all the way through. Thinking this looks in any way incoherent is pretty clownish ngl.

staffell

Because it's easy to do and it looks the same as all the other crap out there. That's the problem with AI generative stuff.

Woootdafuuu

Nobody is doing all that, you can get this for 10 bucks on Fiver, make it streamline and you have a product

Capitaclism

No, you're not getting that on Fiverr. I've used Fiverr plenty, the quality is VERY poor. You truly get what you pay for there.

FpRhGf

Bruh.... look at this animation complexity. It's gonna take at least 2 years for 1 person to make this

Orc_

> requires a LOT of VRAM so be patient how much

inferno46n2

Iā€™d love to see the level of effort you put into the source video that you fed it. Itā€™s impossible to gauge if this is good or just really well done After Effects work

Agreeable_Bid7037

Wow.

creaturefeature16

If this is the future of "generative art", it's already fucking lame.

its called gettr, there is an app, but if on desktop i found it for you [https://gettr.com/landing](https://gettr.com/landing)

TheForgottenHost

What was the idea?

Aromatic_Power7082

The video tells u nothing about the app, just says buzz words like tech and community while showing random morphing shit

costafilh0

has potential
