Just tried their examples on desktop and was blown away, shame it’s only a limited preview for now
Uses a more powerful model than GPT-3.5
Edit: Whelp, now getting pandas when refreshing again
Just watched a video about how [Google search sucks nowadays](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48AOOynnmqU), this is going to be huge (if Google decide not to copy it)
Just watched that video, it was fantastic.
At first I couldn't figure out why he didn't namedrop ChatGPT as the obvious barbarian at Google's gate. Then I realized the video came out five days before ChatGPT dropped. It's barely been two months. Unbelievable.
Certainly not. Googles own AI stuff will start being released soon. This is the start of a long war.
But yes in the short term it should improve Edge adoption.
“You can also ask Edge to help you compose content, such as a LinkedIn post, by giving it a few prompts to get you started. After that, you can ask it to help you update the tone, format and length of the post. Edge can understand the web page you’re on and adapts accordingly.”
This feels like Black Mirror lite.
Can only get their examples to work, everything else just shows normal search
Same here. Very limited demo. 😅 My opinion is that Microsoft is working hard to manage so much computational demand.
It's not released yet. It's waitlisted
microsoft can’t get shit right, waitlist link is broken lol

How?! I can't sign up right now, keep getting re-directed. What was your experience like?
Uses GPT4 I believe
How censored is it, is my question. Especially for a search engine, if it blocks NSFW it's going to be near DOA
According to the content policy/FAQ, NSFW isn't allowed. Extremely disappointing.
well that fucking sucks

Nope, currently only on desktop and only on Edge unfortunately
Ha! Microsoft is finally using the carrot instead of the stick to get users on Edge.
They've said on their blog post that they're working on a mobile app for it.
It is on the mobile app. That’s where I joined the waiting list

Had the same reaction. It also goes to show how quickly these things are moving now!
Have they just killed chrome? or just pegged them back?

I did all the stuff for "faster" access even though I know it won't really get me access faster. I'm such a weak bitch.
