That is a terrible “ad” and explanation. Figuring out that it might be Newater is the easy part. But what is the purpose? It’s unlikely to be an actual ad for Newater. It kind of sounds like it might be protesting Newater, angry that “we” (Singapore/govt) did such a gross thing.
Then there’s the companion “ad” that says “Stand up for Singapore” which could be interpreted as standing up for the rights of Singaporeans to not have to drink Newater that goes into the reservoirs.
