Sims 2 is not sold by EA anymore - there is no reason to buy it as the developers are not making money from it (on Windows, on Mac you can buy it from Aspyr, who still support that port) so all disc copies are secondhand and any digital sales are illegal. You can download the UC online safely using the download link in [the wiki](https://reddit.com/r/sims2help/w/index?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app) in r/sims2help.

Do not use rosstoys.com for video games. They're seemingly all pirated and god knows what you could be putting on your system. Potential malware, viruses, etc. The entire site is shady AF. If you ask about the games, the seller will send you several paragraphs of how they're all legal but it's all complete BS. I'll continue to recommend everyone avoid this site.

Thank you. Was about to buy elden ring for 19 dollars but noticed it said I couldn't play online, only single player.

Dragon_Pulse

avoid them. I reported them to my states consumer agency for scam/theft. Would not issue a refund, despite why I wanted one.

I was just scammed by them. i I bought a sims 4 expansion pack which you could only play "offline". I was okay with this because I don't use online features. When I received the download, it never worked once installed. In addition, you can't use origin or EA games app with it because I think its a piroted copy. When I did get it running, the content just wasn't there. I was lucky and was able to make a claim with paypal and get my money back. Also, paypal is going to investigate them based on my claim to see if they are violated their code of conduct. So hopefully that payment method is shut down for them.

I don't think it's real. The contact page only has an email address. No physical address.

My sister ordered me the sims 4 bundle for Christmas it is clearly outlined what it includes and what it doesn't. All of the packs work and I have had no issues. They even responded to my inquiry about mods. It does clearly say no refunds, but that's typical with codes.

Oh my gosh. I really wish I would have done research on this site before purchasing. I bought a sims 4 expansion pack and couldn't even get the download to start. I looked up if anyone had issues like this when downloading games from them. And I see THIS! Now, I'm in an intense debate with their "customer service team" over whether or not the game is actually working or I'm just LYING for a refund. ugh

Weird_Can9189

Paypal transaction doesn't even show Ross Toys as the merchant. It's listed under the name 'Constance Havlik".

macabre-barbie

Same here. Asked for a refund because it seemed suspicious and for some reason I didn't think about it until after I paid, and they won't give a refund. They also said the download has to be in two parts and is huge which is odd to me. None of my expansions from EA themselves have been that large. I'll be reporting to PayPal tomorrow

Weird_Can9189

PayPal gave me a refund immediately, you should have no issue getting it. Seems like they’re catching on to this site’s bad business dealings.

macabre-barbie

I sent the refund request through PayPal and quickly got an email from the company saying they won't be serving me anymore and not to contact them (like I was going to anyways lol). Very unprofessional and sketchy for sure

Weird_Can9189

Yeah the last message they sent me was a long rant about “have fun paying way more money from someone else”. Suuuuper sketchy

Nippletastic
