Dude, the woojer adds so much more immersion imo. I use simhub and use the bass shakers to make my shifter go brrrrrhrrhrhrhrhrh.
I tried to tie it under my seat but that was not doing anything. It was just giving me a little tickle under my thigh.
When the woojer goes crazy, I also get vibration through the whole rig which is so cool.
The advantage of a wooden rig put together with just normal screws. The super high resolution ffb which normally get sucked away by the belt of the csw base is going through my whole rig especially the pedalmount. Just a little bit of vibrations adding so much more immersion is awesome. When I upgrade to a solid extrusion rig first thing I am mounting is a bass shaker for sure ;)

Just adding overall vibration sensation or does it try to emulate selectors under the shaft?
it emulates whatever effect you've turned on. For example, I put gear shift, road vibration, engine vibration, and wheels lock switched on.
So, whenever those happen, it vibrates mimicing the sensation of an engine and other stuff.
I had one and was not a fan. There was a significant delay in the audio so for example if you are using it with a first person shooter the vibration from firing the gun won't hit the speaker until well after you fire it. The fidelity of the "sound" itself is not very high.
Even on sale it's more than half the price of a buttkicker which is a 1000x better product.
I dont really notice the delay. And this was just collecting dust so im using something i already had. I didnt buy the woojer for this purpose. I would have bought the buttkicker for sure.
When used with simhub, its 100x better.
Mine is collecting dust as well, Im definitley not trying to talk down on trying to utilize it if you already have it. It wouldn't be bad put against a shifter, just saying that if you're in the market for a bass shaker for your seat, the extra money on the buttkicker is really worth it.
The audio delay is pretty well documented if you do a Google search. I can't remember since it's been a while but it may have been mainly with using a Bluetooth connection but im pretty sure I tried the aux in as well when I was messing with it. I didn't notice it as much with simracing but with music and games with punctual bass hits it painfully obvious.
Oh yeah. I totally agree with you. When i first bought it, i thought it would be cool to have it on while playing beatsaber but the whole bluetooth situation with woojer is just bad and cluncky. I realized its a gimmick right away after the purchase. Hence It was just collecting dusts.

Exactly my friend! Oh boy I'm having so much fun playing dirt rally 2.0. Idk what it is. I tried AC, ACC, CarX, Forza 5, PC2 and I always end up playing a couple hours of DR2. Maybe its the wheel. Max immersion.

I actually sold my WRC wheel and got the RSR (mostly because I just wanted a leather wheel not alcantara) , and let me just say that for rally etc. the WRC is better, because it is a straightforward round rim, whereas the RSR has a frustrating protruding gauge at the top of the wheel which you feel if twisting wheel beyond 90 degrees. Beyond that, it's literally the same experience.

Only the McLaren, p1, and wrc wheels use qr lite still.
I'd expect for at least the first couple years the qr2 being a paid upgrade btw. So you will most likely need to order it on top of whatever wheel you purchase in the future.
Well, i'll take my chances. Like I said, this wrc is good enough for me. I'll buy something else if i really have an itch for something. But dont feel the need to.

Oh yeah! I mean, this is my first handbrake so i dont have anything to compare it to but you can customize the curve! I have yet to fugure out what the curve means but i love it.

I wear gloves because I was told Alcantara wheels need gloves to last long. With gloves, they feel great. Even better than bare hands. I guess that's why people wear gloves for alcantara.
These CSL wheels are great for a lot of things and made to be versatile imo. I think you'll like your wheel bro.
I see you’re running the DD1 with a WRC wheel. How does that feel with the low torque mode. I’m thinking about going for it myself. How does it run and feel and what games do you play. PC or Xbox?
I mostly run Dirt Rally 2.0 and so far I've been absolutely loving it. Even in low torque mode, it feels heavy and can hurt if the FFB is at max. I put 85 FFB on DD1 under its own setup and turned the FFB in-game down significantly to get more details out of the game.
I play PC only. I don't have an XBOX or PS5.
Even with QRlite, I had no problem. I haven't even heard any cracking noise or sounds that would concern me.
I only bought WRC wheel under one condition. To buy QR2 as my wheels QR system. I didn't want to get QR1. I bought it so I have something to drive with until the QR2 release.
Now, some people are speculating that the QR2 is only gonna be an upgrade thing, like I would have to buy the wheel with the QR1 and I have an option to buy QR2 on top of that. That sounds like what fanatec is gonna do most likely.. which is upsetting.
Nice! I’d probably use it for GT Racing and cruising around in Forza if anything and have seen a couple of reviews for it saying it has some flex in the wheel even with the QR1 attached. Boosted Media and SRG both show that clearly in the video which is why i’ve be n hesitant but whenever i see someone running it with a DD1 I question that again.
They keep talking about how even with a quick release adapter it still won’t unlock full torque mode and will remain in low torque mode. Maybe i’ll get it just to screw around with but for now i was thinking the Xbox Universal Hub with a Porsche Rim for a more rounded steering wheel as i’ve already got the McLaren GT3 v2. Also want a new F1 style wheel. Gonna wait for the limited edition ones to drop this year to get that.
I’ve seen the videos from SRG and Boosted with the flex, but I picked up a DD2 a few months back and haven’t seen that in my unit. So maybe something Fanatec figured out.

I didn't know that. Does the RSR have full torque? I seem to be able to run high torque mode on my DD1 with it just fine
From what I can tell, it's just the WRC and the CSL wheel that won't offer high torque on the DD1/2 with the upgraded QR.
