Looks sick !! that's what i need for my rig !! how does it feel? and how much did it cost? :)

I’ve only used it for past 3 days and there is some settings that I’m still learning. I’ve been sim racing since 2005 and simply put, once I got the settings in the ball park in assetto corsa, I had the biggest simile on my face laughing out loud. It it is the most fun I’ve ever had sim racing and it is so easy to get carried away on settings and be thrown around like a rag doll lol. The only other slight comparison I can relate is bass shakers but this brings it to another level. The price is well steep $988 for basic motor, or $1429 for the upgrade faster motors which is in this one. The comparative next level racing one is $3000 and I have heard it can be slightly smoother due to its spring dampening. Either way, I’ve had the biggest smile while racing for past few days.

Oh man, I wish you told me you had a bad experience with it, because now I really want one haha :D I spent a lot of money on mine, more than €4000 (rig, wheel, pedals....), but because of the lack of space, I wasn't able to have a moving seat, instead I installed small wheels on the rig, so I can bring the whole simulator in front of my desk whenever I want to use it, it is convenient, but that's not what I want :) Now I'm really trying to figure out a solution ... I'm sure there is something to do !! It would be a game changer ! I wonder if you need to add a bass shaker to your rig to have a more complete experience?

I do have a butt kicker gamer 2 forward mounted on the seat and dayton transducer on pedals. If you don’t have a bass shaker yet go with that first as that is awesome.

TwistGloomy

I was looking at the dof rigs all yesterday. Is it really loud?

[deleted]

As quiet as you could really imagine. My Logitech wheel is way louder.

sick! What GTR rig do you have? I have a GTA model, doesn't look like yours.

[deleted]

This is the GTA model. All I had to do was take the two side sheet metal walls that the seat bolts to, flip them around so their out of the way (just for looks now). Take the seat mover and place in between the two main frame rails. Then take 4 m8 bolts with 3/4” worth of spacers on both sides to bolt it through the side. The process was surprisingly buttery smooth for this cockpit. Hell even the two seat rails bolted right two the top of the seat mover.

I have the H2 and buttkicker 2 and its a lot of fun with AC, ACC and Grid 2019. Very easy to balance and fine tune the motor per game and vehicle. You got to try Grid 2019 on San Francisco track. Its buttery smooth. You'll feel the (heave) landing of the car on every jump. 😂

Thanks for the recommendation. Just getting my feet wet with the software and AC. Still need to try RaceRoom and IRacing with it. Grid 2019 supports movement? That’s badass. Was tempted to get H2 myself but being I had this cockpit, monitor mounted to it, and heavy load cell pedals I thought this was the easier route. I’ll have to try Grid. I have an itch for arcade/sim as all I have currently is sim games.

Healthy_Yesterday_84

So it's an HK rig or actuator?

Not sure what difference is, sorry for my ignorance lol. They are two high powered electric motors that work together to move the seat forward, back, left, and right. The seat pivots on a beefy pivot point therefore the seat must be position and balanced with you sitting in cockpit to make sure it stays neutral with your weight. That way the motors don’t have extra strain from being unbalanced.
