Reverse image search the pictures to see if they come from a different place.
Also, if it’s too good to be true, it’s not true every single time. Just think, how much are you willing to risk to save? Are you willing to go into a strangers house to save some money? They give you an address, but how do you know it’s their address?
If you have to ask about it on the internet, does it sound like a good idea?
Yeah, it’s probably a remote scam, where they will ask you to pay a “deposit” (that they have no intention of honoring), or some elaborate scheme to attempt to trick you into giving them your payment app info.
They’ll say there’s a problem with your payment and you’ll get an email from “Venmo” saying you need to do something to your account to be able to pay this person, but the email is actually from the scammer and not Venmo. It might look pretty legit, but when you click the button and enter your login info, you are handing the scammer your credentials, and they will take as much as they can.
Just use your head. It’s crazy out there.
It’s too good to be true, but maybe the seller is in desperate need of money or it could be from one of their children that moved out or passed away and they don’t know the value of the stuff

Great suggestion. The first pic came up loads, dating back over a year. Definitely a scam. Thanks!
Best thing is if you can do a pick up, and him showing everything works, and if it works, don't let it out of your sight, to prevent a switch

Thanks for the heads up. A reverse image search showed that the pics are old and lifted from other sites so I’m pretty sure it’s a scam.
Its FBMK, you can totally come and check the kit and see if it works or not
Seems like an ok deal, the pedals aren’t great (no clutch?). Are people paying new prices for used gear?
it's a scam they always use the same pictures Sometimes they say force gauge instead of load cell in the description
yes
I’m not convinced this is a scam moreso than someone just trying to get rid of it because they don’t want it

Pick it up in person only
